"A beautiful property. Very nice staff. Accommodating. But a few issues. The air conditioner is located in the room next to the bed and extremely loud. The vent is on the wall and blows directly at the bed. It was and almost sounded like a truck idling outside the room. Rooms do not have safes. When checking in we were not greeted because both desk clerks were looking at their phones. Breakfast was problematic. They were out of coffee and no one was checking in on it. It took almost 15 minutes before they had another Coffee available. They were out of their breakfast sandwiches. When they finally did appear, they weren’t very good. One of our friends noticed that the people who were working in the kitchen were just standing around and not checking anything. Trash was overflowing. We actually had to go get something to eat elsewhere, which is a first for Marriott. In the morning when we went to check out, the staff was eating at the front desk. It’s not very professional. Manager was lovely and helpful."

"Omg. The first floor room was like somebody’s basement— the flooring (not carpet) was a modern linoleum. Not a picture or decoration anywhere. Could have been a jail cell. TV at the ceiling. Bathroom looked partially updated. Nice mirror with light. The room was right next to the front check-in and therefore door. It was a tolerable noise level until 11:30 when, apparently, a number of loud conversationalists in the lobby woke us."

"We attended an event in nearby Fairbury. The hotel Is relatively close to the event. I would definitely stay at this facility again. The building is older but clean. The manager was pleasant and gracious. The location is close to the highway. Win/win"
