"Omg. The first floor room was like somebody’s basement— the flooring (not carpet) was a modern linoleum. Not a picture or decoration anywhere. Could have been a jail cell. TV at the ceiling. Bathroom looked partially updated. Nice mirror with light. The room was right next to the front check-in and therefore door. It was a tolerable noise level until 11:30 when, apparently, a number of loud conversationalists in the lobby woke us."

"Hotel room was nice and clean front desk on Friday night were great. However Saturday morning breakfast was absolutely terrible. We came down at 9am and there was nothing. I mean NOTHING. oh wait, yellow oranges and 2 boxes of crap cereal and two hard bagels. The potatoes were not cooked and cold yet in the warmer. The eggs were runny and there was no meat. No syrup, no orange juice and the place was a mess. When I went to the front desk she stared at me and then walked to the back and pointed to a man in a black sweat suit. He said whats the problem. I said can we get some fruit or something. He brought out green bananas. My husband asked for a manager you brought out some syrup but she didn't speak at all. I then asked for some cereal. She was not verbal but brought out a box and proceeded to put cereal out. The front desk throughout the day had earbud in, didn't look anyone in the eye and actually had their back to us as we walked out. I emailed customer service about this and they emailed me back and gave me points on my account. Who cares. For $400 a night with breakfast included there should be breakfast! Not to mention I was there for the State Special Olympics in Bloomington and my daughter was an athlete and she had no breakfast! I expect way more from a Marriott hotel."

"We attended an event in nearby Fairbury. The hotel Is relatively close to the event. I would definitely stay at this facility again. The building is older but clean. The manager was pleasant and gracious. The location is close to the highway. Win/win"
