"En este viaje, tengo la oportunidad de quedarme aquí por tercera vez y se considera el alojamiento más barato de la zona. Si vienes a viajar, no está muy lejos de la playa, aunque no está en la playa, pero es conveniente viajar si es Red Sand Beach si Matala. "El hotel es un albergue excelente, gente amable gestionada por jóvenes, organiza noches como comidas o barbacoas, etc. Puedes tener una habitación privada con cama doble y un aire acondicionado, hay un mini frigorífico, y justo al lado de la parada de autobús si viene de la estación de autobús Heraklion, tendrá que cambiar los autobuses a medias vías, sin embargo,"

Matala Bay Hotel & Apartments

"This was disappointing. Booked a room for 4 and was told when I got to the hotel that there were no rooms available, but I should get an extra bed in the room. When we returned after dinner at the restaurant at midnight, there was no bed. The person at the reception just said that there was no bed available. Got an extra room on another floor. This room was filthy and had no working A/C! No refund or compensation after discussions with the hotel. The restaurant in the hotel was far below average. This hotel is not recommended! There are many other local rooms and houses that maintain a much better standard at a lower price!"

"La hospitalidad fue caliente y nos ofreció lo que necesitamos durante nuestra estancia sin problemas y retrasos, especialmente durante el período que estuvimos allí en el Festival de la Playa de Matala! El hotel es un hotel tradicional y el lugar es ideal, ya que está a sólo 2 minutos de la playa, y los huéspedes, personas con mucho amor y un poco de lo que hacen! ¡Gracias por la hospitalidad, lo visitaremos cuando nos reunamos!"

"Pretty exterior, pleasant swimming pool, spacious room, bedding a little hard. We had half board, a passable breakfast, a horrible dinner, we had to go and eat in town some days so much so that it was unacceptable, however, it's not difficult for us to avoid half board. Good location to visit matala"

"A very fond memory. We've been there twice in a row and it's always great. The owners (Cornelia and Michael) are extremely nice, as well as the related guests, all one big family. If you are looking for the luxury of a 5-star hotel, look elsewhere. The priority here is the atmosphere, maximum cleanliness, the effort to fulfill every wish of the guest. "Eléa Terra Hotel in Matala is a very nice Place. Maria and her team is lovely and allways helpful. Breakfast is excellent, fresh and you can est as much as you want. The cleaning ladies are working hard, thus the rooms, beds and towels are allways clean. Alexandro is the best Barkeeper @ poolbar and a helping hand to Maria. Thanx for the Raki. 🙂 From the Hotel it is less than five minutes to Walk to the Beach and there is a Bus stop directly in front of the Hotel. You can visit the Ruins of Faistos, a saturday market in Moires. Besutiful is the Red Beach. Besutiful Bars and Shops in Matala with best Gyros. Nice towns like Pitsidia, Kamilari or Kalamaki can be visited by foot, too. See you next Summer!"
