What a gem of a property in the Accor catalog of accommodation and hospitality! I am a senior, solo, single traveler, and Ibis rooms are just fine with me! The Wi-Fi could be a little bit better, but that's the problem with the vendor and the Internet service Provider, not the Ibis. Although this Ibis would be within their rights to demand better service- in 2023, with 100+ rooms. I came directly from an Ibis in Lisbon, which had fewer items for breakfast, and no Chef for evening dinner! The breakfast is a wonderful mix of Moroccan, Arabic, French foods, but also American/English. Scrambled eggs are made without dairy, and I brought my own gluten-free bread from Carrefour to be sure. While they do have a container of Honey, I bring my own, as I don't like touching containers and spoons touched by other customers... another customer absconded with my honey yesterday, and one of the wait staff had to retrieve it! Three languages are spoken here: Moroccan, Arabic, French, and plenty of English. Any word that is too specific can be translated on any of the web translation sources. Like when I needed to explain that DHL was bringing a package with my gluten-free chocolate chip cookies that Carrefour does not stock! There's been some shuffling of the wait staff in the last few days, but besides being new, quiet, and shy, they are all talented and all understand hospitality. The evening dinner is attended to by the top echelon of the hotel staff and everything is more than fine – which in my case means a very plain and simple American taste. Since I don't carry currency, the evening food bill goes on my room tab. Breakfast was part of the booking in the first place, but I don't fully understand what ”half-board” means, if that means evening dinner, so I will be inquiring about that. Being next-door to the train station means it's a three minute walk to excellent sight seeing and people watching. And McDonald's of you so care, and at least two mobile phone SIM shops. Carrefour is a 10 minute walk, and there is a shopping mall which is about a 20 minute walk which I will be visiting for recreation purposes and window shopping, to get a feel for the retail culture of this city. And people watching! I did read about the potable water situation on a Moroccan tourism page. This Ibis has plenty of bottled water, so just ask- at Reception and of course in the Restaurant.  I also read about cash versus credit card. The three places that I have spent money at have all accepted cards. It is currently Ramadan, but this Ibis respects International tourists' needs and wants. No disruption of service- and the staff seem to be very happy to be celebrating the holiday. My room had two minor maintenance issues, which were resolved quickly. The garden is beautiful and peaceful, and well manicured. I have stayed with other brand name chain hotels in the US and Europe. There is nothing in this historic building that is outdated, or in need of renovation. The most important

Background: stayed 3 nights over new year 22/23 with the family. Hotel is twinned with The Opera Plaza Hotel, but we stayed in the Red Hotel Section. The Good: friendly staff, clean rooms, good service and housekeeping, wonderful buffet breakfast with scrambled eggs, Morocco’s style pancakes and bread made on demand, pool area is fabulous and you could easily spend hours there. Location was good with most tourist attractions a 5 to 10 min cab ride away. The venue has a bowling alley and a restaurant with international football shown every day, it is not rowdy and is a nice atmosphere to watch a match. Close to Menara Mall and some western fast food places. The not so good: the red hotel is a bit dated, carpets in common areas are a bit frayed and the room stayed in was very basic with uncomfortable pillows and facing the street was noisy. Overall: this is an upper 3 star / lower 4 star hotel. I would rate 7 out of 10. I think most people would be happy with a short stay at this hotel for a reasonable price. I have read some of the other reviews on trip advisor which can put you off but our experience was fine. I also note the comment about a new year event on another review, we were at the hotel at the same time (the red hotel part) but not invited to anything.

Buena ubicación, transporte conveniente. El hotel es pequeño pero pequeño y exquisito. Es un servicio completamente estándar al estilo de un hotel. La actitud es muy buena y los detalles son cuidados. Por la noche, tomaré un refrigerio en el hotel. La habitación es espaciosa y cómoda. especial. Hay un restaurante en el último piso, el desayuno es muy característico, servicio personalizado. La cena es muy buena y hay dos personas que se especializan en tocar música folclórica. Y el precio de las comidas no es caro.

servicio de primer nivel personal perfecto Televisión un poco pequeña para el tamaño de las habitaciones, no más dispensadores de gel de ducha sino pequeños viales. Colchón un poco duro. Pero excelente servicio en general, muy buen desayuno, una apuesta segura.

Lo que me gusta es que me recomienda. Está bien y agradable. No sepa por qué las personas son tan negativas sobre este lugar, me quedaría aquí otra vez. Limpias, camas hechos todos los días, toallas limpias, personal amigable. Situado a veinte minutos a pie de la plaza, y los calzones. La licencia de salida en torno al rincón, que vende mucha cerveza, vino y bebidas. £11.00, para una botella de vino y seis cervezas. Altamente recomendado!!!

El hotel es un hotel muy agradable y le ofrece un servicio de calidad. La única cosa que tuvimos que pedir fue un hierro que nos enviaron inmediatamente. El desayuno era muy bueno. Había una buena selección todos traídos a su mesa. El personal del desayuno (Kemal y Hanan) estaba muy amigable y acomodable. También pedimos un poco más tarde un chequeo en nuestro último día que estaban contentos de arreglar para nosotros.

He reservado este hotel para mis padres y he pagado el importe total con impuestos incluidos a través de Ctrip. Cuando estaban saliendo, el hotel los detuvo diciendo que el pago no se realizó y que no podían irse. Pasé casi 2 horas entre hablar con el operador de Ctrip y la recepcionista del hotel porque ella decía que no podían obtener el pago de Ctrip. Como hotel de 5 estrellas, creo que lo mínimo que deberían hacer es no incluir al cliente en estos asuntos sobre todo porque ya pagamos y ellos lo saben. Esta experiencia fue una de las peores situaciones por las que he pasado y la recepcionista fue extremadamente grosera. No sugiero este hotel a nadie o al menos hasta que despidan a esa recepcionista.

La recepción, los comedores, los jardines y la planta baja en general son espectaculares. La habitación no está mal, es amplia y limpia, pero le falta algo para considerarla propia de un cinco estrellas. El bufé es muy amplio y el personal, amable. Lo recomiendo.

El servicio de recepción es entusiasta y las instalaciones del hotel son más antiguas. El dragón de agua caliente tiene algunos fallos,

Je pense qu'il y a confusion entre les hôtels El hamra et El Henra qui sont dans la même rue. El Hamra regroupe à lui seul tout ce qu'on ne voudrait pas : tout est sale, draps avec des cheveux des poils des bêtes mortes. Le sol même pas balayé. Sdb sale. Pour courroner le tout, je m'entends même pas parler dans la chambre. Pas de double vitrage, il est 2h du mat et on n'entend que la circulation. Dois je aussi parler de cette odeur d'égout? Cet hôtel est une belle arnaque. Je vis un cauchemar. J'aurai mieux fait de passer cette nuit à l'aéroport.
