San Rafael! The perfect suburban/nature city to visit in California. It’s located in Marin County and is about a 40 min drive from San Francisco. San Rafael is the perfect city to explore (especially Civic Center or Downtown) or to make a pit stop if you are heading towards Sonoma/Napa County to do some wine tasting. If you do decide to stay in San Rafael, you should book your next stay at Fourpoints by Sheraton hotel! I got the pleasure in staying at the Four points by Sheraton hotel.When I first walked into the lobby, the staff Pesty and John were able to take care of me right away. They were Very nice a friendly at the front desk as I was checking into the hotel. They even are offering free cookies to guest at the hotel as well so that was a plus. After I was all checked in, I was able to be on the 4th floor which is the highest floor at the hotel. I got to stay in the modern Deluxe Guest room- 1 king bed During my stay. When I walked in my room the room was modern, casual room that was clean and all prepared for. The bathroom was also modern and clean as well with everything working. The most beautiful part about this room was the view. I can’t tell you how beautiful my view from my room was. It was so gorgeous that it looked like a million dollar view. You can see the beautiful pool patio including the palm trees and see the astonishing mountains of San Rafael . I highly reccomend staying at the fourth floor if you can facing the pool because you get to wake up in the morning to that incredible million dollar view. That is a major plus in my opinion. I wanted to highlight the pool patio at the hotel because I think it’s such as gorgeous area to look and be in. When you walk outside, there are a bunch of seating area where people can hangout and just relax. At night, what is so special about that area is there is a fire pit are where you can get yourself warm after a long day. The pool in general is a nice large pool with a hot tub and Four Points by Sheraton is known to have the largest pool patio in Marin County. People can just relax at the pool or go for a swim as well. Overall, this area has to be the nicest area at this hotel. Overall, if you are looking for a nice place to stay in San Rafael, I highly recommend staying here at Four Points by Sheraton. The views, the staff, the scenery, the cleanliness of the hotel was on point. If I’m ever in San Rafael again which is a huge yes, I would stay here agaian and you guys should book your stay at Four Points as well. A last-minute getaway as the friends we had planned to stay with came down with Covid and we had to make a decision about where to stay. We are Marriott Bonvoy members and rarely ever stay at Sheratons, but thought we'd give this a go. Sigh. Not quite up to Marriott standards I'm afraid.... We got a king suite with a balcony that was supposed to be a marina view, but looked out over the adjacent ”marsh” and freeway/railroad track. Here's the good: very comfortable bed, bathtub (most hotels are ripping these out and replacing with walk-in showers - I love a real tub), short drive to downtown Petaluma which is cute with upcoming restaurants, coffee houses and quirky shops, staff friendly; the location is easy access off 101 and good for a base to explore Sonoma County. The not-so-good: the hotel lobby is freezing cold so not a place we could hang out, the fire was never lit the whole weekend; it's so cold that the staff behind the check-in desk had their own space heaters on the counter blasting hot air at themselves to stay warm! The pool is tiny, the photos of this place make it look more like a resort, but it's really a hotel bolted on to the end of a mall/offices as part of the marina development. You can't walk into downtown - it's a hike along very busy roads with industrial office buildings. The new train line (yay - public transport!) is just across the river adjacent to the freeway and is noisy as you'd expect. We walked into the marsh and around the nature loop - it was OK...nothing special, really - didn't see much in the way of birdlife. I imagine it gets stinky in the summer! In general, the hotel could do with a solid refurb - it feels dated. I think we would have actually been better off at the Courtyard TBH.

En agosto, reservamos dos habitaciones para dos noches, pagando $1300 por esas habitaciones en total. Nuestro cuarto de adolescentes estaba bien. Pero nuestra habitación tenía un aire acondicionado roto. Caliente y cansado cuando llegamos, dejamos a la dirección saber que nuestro a/c no funcionaba. La gente de mantenimiento no podía venir, así que el buen camarero de noche nos trajo un par de fans y nos prometió un crédito de habitación. Eran pequeños, y no hizo mucho bien. Sólo queríamos estar tan calientes y incómodos, no dormimos bien. La mañana siguiente nos dijeron que el mantenimiento iba a llegar, y nos fuimos a nuestro camino por el día. Nos encontramos en el hotel, pero no en el hotel. No teníamos ningún verdadero gerente para hablar con nosotros o al menos ninguno que quiera hacernos cargo. Creo que me dio un teléfono # para el GM. Le dejó un mensaje (Shannon Kremer). No respondió. No hay respuesta. La e-mailé de nuevo, no contesté. La e-mailé de nuevo, pregunté por el número de contacto de su jefe, no contestó. No se presentó ningún crédito de habitación. Así que ....basado en el GM actualmente en funcionamiento allí, no recomiendo este lugar. No quieren oír sobre ningún problema. PPaul KhooLa habitación, aunque compacta, estaba bien equipada. Sin embargo, el ambiente se apoyó hacia el lado de la distancia, lo que no podría ser la preferencia de todos. Sería genial si se consideraban mejorar la iluminación para iluminar el espacio un poco más. En general, una estancia decente, pero hay espacio para mejoras.

XXIAOYANA una distancia del centro de San Francisco, se llegó al puente Golden Gate en el centro. Muy tranquilo, hay un pequeño supermercado alrededor del hotel. Aparcamiento gratuito disponible. El ambiente es inmejorable, puedes tomarte una copa de vino al aire libre, cortar un bife, levantarte por la mañana y correr por la mañana, rodeado de clubes de tenis, y quedarte en este hotel la próxima vez.

UUsuario invitadoMe quedé dormido en la suite que me reservaba y llamó a Vida que dijo que viniera a verla para elegir otra habitación. ¡Después de escuchar mi historia, Vida me mostró lo que estaba disponible, me ofreció una suite fantástica y espaciosa con ruido de tráfico no y unas vistas maravillosas de las montañas. Y me ofreció el servicio del hotel para llevar mi equipaje a mi nueva suite. Espero visitar el Marin Suites Hotel. es una gran búsqueda para el precio y el servicio! gracias

UUsuario invitadoLa habitación, cuando se cerraron las ventanas, estaba muy tranquila, o hasta que la fiesta de bodas volvió a la ciudad 1AM. La habitación de la habitación era muy confortable, muy limpia y la ducha tenía una presión real de agua, una rara situación en estos días. Definitivamente quedarse aquí otra vez. No ofrecen desayuno, pero en realidad, esos desayunos ”libre” del hotel son sólo bombas de azúcar. Hay una Starbucks en la carretera que tiene sandwiches de desayuno y se abre en 5AM.
