"Wonderful find for a 3 star hotel -stayed for 4 nights. Although the decor might be a little dated by today's modern expectations, it was in very good order and the hotel was beautifully clean throughout. Lovely breakfast and good restaurant offering traditional Italian dishes. Beautiful swimming pool with lovely views. Free private parking. All staff very helpful, friendly, polite and professional. We enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend this hotel. To appreciate the beautiful area you really need to have a car. If you are an avid tea/coffee drinker then take a travel kettle and some tea bags as these were not provided in our room; I think this is usual practice for southern Italy. "

"Wow in 2 years this hotel has fallen dramatically. Stayed 4 night .eStill hs a nice pool and rooms are delivered clean except with some mildew in the corner of the shower in both our rooms. Hotel is run down. Its one thing to be old and dated, its another to be totally obsolete like the ripped and dirty outdoor carpet on the outside dining veranda. Food this time was awful. Breakfast was terrible. I felt bad for Maitre d Roberto having to work in such rundown conditions. The director walks around all day looking bedufddled and nothing gets fixed or repaired. One of the girls at the desk had a bit of an attitude. Good pool ,clean room and sheets but thats where it ends. Its a shame because the location is excellent. They cater to what appears to be upper income people and the should do much better !"

"This lovely hotel is located at Marina de Maratea 5 kms south of Maratea proper (and has a separate train station that many trains do. It stop at so check your train ticket!). The hotel does have a shuttle and they kindly picked us up from Maratea station. Rooms are very pleasant and in really good order. The restaurant onsite is excellent. Breakfasts were delightful as was the dinner we had there. Staff were super helpful and friendly. The hotel has a private beach, but there is a public one close by. Wifi in rooms can be weak at times but is strong up in the reception lounge. The hotel has a great indoor pool and bar area. All up if you opt to stay near the beach then this hotel at Marina de M is a fantastic option, we really enjoyed it."

"Un Hotel que le hace falta varias reformas. Con una adecuada modernización y renovación de los elementos de la Habitación seria perfecto. La habitación en la que nos alojamos disponia de un minusculo plato de ducha, soy un hombre de 1'81 m de estatura, delgado con 767 kg. y apenas podia levantar el brazo para manipular el mando del ridiculo plato de ducha de la habitación. Imagino cualquier otra persona con solamente algo más de peso, que es muy habitual, no podra ni siquiera entrar a ese reducidisimo espacio tan necesario en un Hotel. No sé si el resto de habitaciones contarán con ese escueto e incómodo espacio. Resultó una estancia completamente incómoda por el inconveniente de la ducha. Se ruega a la dirección tengan en cuenta esta irregularidad. Por lo demás, decir que el desayuno estaba verdaderamente cuidado y muy bien atendido. El resto del Hotel, repito, precisa con urgencia bastantes mejoras."

"It is a beautiful hotel. Our room was gorgeous with a comfortable bed and lovely linens. The shower had great water pressure. The pool is perfect with magic views. The staff were charming and friendly. Breakfast was perfect. We wish we could have stayed longer."
