We recently stayed here and celebrated our Birthday and Wedding Anniversary and had an exceptional experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and polite, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. From the warm welcome at check-in to the attentive service throughout our stay, their professionalism was outstanding. We truly appreciate Mr. Jason (pool area attendant) for taking care of us and offering drinks even though we were the only ones at the pool at that time. We also commend Ms. Marivic and her team, especially their dining area supervisor, for serving our food. Special mention to Ms. Sheila, who serenaded us during dinner. The rooms were luxurious, well-maintained, and offered stunning views. Every interaction with the staff left a positive impression, making our stay truly enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for its top-notch service and welcoming atmosphere.

Localización sabia, super accesible a los restaurantes. Cerca de una iglesia y cerca del punto turístico cercano. La habitación es mayor que usual. Hay un espacio de trabajo donde puede hacer su trabajo correctamente. La habitación es también grande que me gusta, ya que el baño está separado del duche.

Great hotel for it's price. Get the Tower Wing which is newer and renovated. Can tell the staff really go the distance where they can and it's like a localized Shangri La of sorts. Just one bug bear else it would've been 5 stars all the way. The hotel seems to be really, really rigid and they have some weird policies. Me and the wife like to call in call masseurs after a long day from a reputable company in Manila (the masseurs are properly uniformed etc). We informed the front desk that would be doing so. But were told ”any guests staying over after 10pm will get an extra guest charge” I reiterated like 4 or 5 times that these were masseurs and they would be gone 90 mins after they finished. They were not staying. I called the masseurs anyway. As expected they were stopped downstairs. I had to come down in my sleepwear and explain to the female receptionist on Duty (11 Nov 2023 around 11pm) the same explanation above. She called probably her boss then told me in a very condescending tone ”I will give you an exception ONLY ONCE. next time you will be charged an extra guest charge” I disputed again that they are not guests. She showed me a policy document I had signed upon checking in that said ”any guests or visitors STAYING in the hotel after 10pm are subject to the guest charge.” I reiterated, they are masseurs, they are not STAYING. She rolled her eyes at me and ignored me. Really shocking and it really took away everything else we loved about this hotel. I couldn't bear to give 1 star as everyone else worked really hard. Another weird thing if you in the morning buffet their staff will pick the food for you and they seem to be a little bit weird and stingy for example when you're asking for vegetables they will give you one piece of broccoli . You have to literally ask multiple times if you want like three or four pieces of broccoli or cauliflower. I presume this is done for hygiene purposes but they could maybe start by asking ”more or less”? The morning Buffet goes from 7am to 10am and is a really amazing spread. They told me ”last call is at 9am” which means you can't enter after 9am despite it ending 1 hour later. I guess this is due to the large crowds

The receptionist who assisted me during check in was very friendly and accommodating. I appreciate the upgrade to my room that I didn't expect. All of the staff are nice. The breakfast buffet is also good. There's a minibar inside the room and the price for the items are reasonable. Really enjoyed my stay. I highly recommend this place.

Yo descendí a StayMalate. No necesito ir a buscar a otro lugar, es la mejor relación calidad-precio. Tomé una habitación sencilla que daba en la calle Adriatico. El techo es muy agradable, puede comer un pollo de curry con arroz por 3 o 4 euros o otros platos. También puede comer, pero dado el precio de los platos preparados, es una lástima comer pastas de plato demasiado cocidas como los franceses que he visto recientemente. Las toallas son muy limpias y el baño también, limpiadas todos los días. Desde el punto de vista de la seguridad, no hay problemas, vigilante de la noche, cámara en todas partes y hotel bien atraído, es importante poder dejar sus cosas en su habitación sin ansiedad y el ascensor en el edificio. Excepción muy amable, amable y responden a todas sus preguntas. Las paradas de Jeepney están abajo de la calle y te llevarán a Manila, y 7/Eleven en todas partes. Para los sensibles al ruido, prever bolas Quies porque hay ruido de noche en la calle, pero es igual en todas partes o tomar una cama que no da en la calle. Otro punto positivo, un centro comercial muy grande ”Robinson” a 500 metros donde hay tanto comida como tiendas como H&M, Samsung, restaurantes ... El hotel está muy bien situado y tiene una habitación muy limpia y la habitación está limpia todos los días. El jeepney se encuentra en la calle y le llevará a cualquier lugar de Manila, y 7/Elevens en todas partes. Para aquellos que son sensibles al ruido, proporcionar a los oídos porque hay ruido en la noche en la calle, pero es el mismo en todas partes o tomar una cama que no se enfrenta a la calle. Me gusta el lugar en medio de la ciudad confundida. Limpia y cómoda. Puerta balcón bloqueada. Ruido ambiente de tráfico detrás de la ventana. No hay una verdadera vista de interés. Piscina de latón, piscina de baño y un jacuzzi caliente fuera.

This hotel is adequate, but slightly overpriced vs. competition. While they have updated the lobby in recent years, from what I can tell there has been little effort to update guest rooms, which are dated vs. other 5 star properties like the Westin. The one differentiating factor this hotel previously had was a great breakfast buffet served in the Pacific Lounge on the 21st floor with floor to ceiling windows that gave a sweeping view of the skyline and the bay. It was carpeted with cushioned club chairs and those soft surfaces absorbed noise and the overall experience was a great way to start your day compared to the crowded and loud breakfast buffets at other 5 star hotels. Well someone decided to spend a lot of money to destroy that experience. They have opened a new restaurant on the first floor that is loud, crowded and gives you a view of 7-11 across the street instead of the bay. I spoke to the GM about this, so he already knows my opinion, but what continues to strike me is his point that the Pacific Lounge is “a premium space” - yes Sir, that’s true and previously it was one that virtually all your guests got to enjoy which is exactly why it was THE difference maker for this hotel. I came back thru Manila for a night on May 15 and was going to try the Sheraton one more time, but it was fully booked. Instead I stayed at the Westin for less money. There was no comparison- the Westin’s rooms have a much higher end finish, their food was better, and the service there was far superior like being provided a welcome drink and the Manager sending fruit to my room with a welcome note. The Sheraton Manila Bay is no longer on par with Manila’s best hotels
