Valoraciones de The Alan

El hotel está muy bien situado, en el centro de la ciudad. No disfrutamos de la vista de nuestras habitaciones, la ventana es muy alta y todo lo que pudimos ver es una construcción. Pero fue una linda experiencia.

La habitación en la que nos alojamos no tiene carga USB en la habitación, por lo que se recomienda traer su propio enchufe. La cisterna del inodoro necesita más tiempo del que esperaba para recargarse. En general está bien para una estancia rápida de una noche.

This was my third time in The Alan so they must be doing something right 😄 Was guest at Room 403 this time which was the handiest room to get to/from the elevator. Definitely can't be lost. Very spacious room with a bit of lounge area, free digestive biscuits, fresh water bottle and compact bath tub (yes, yes, yes!) which is perfect for short people. Window is a little high in this one and no floofy rug. My favourite things: the gazillions of plugs and the full length mirror. As usual, bring your own summer duvet if you're a cool sleeper and your battery tea light candles for a cosier bath tub experience. A cortado at the nearby Nero overlooking St Peter's Square is a must.

I enjoyed my stay and I loved the aesthetics

Acceptable quality in general but definitely see quite some improvement opportunities: - while the appearance of the hotel is appealing on the outside, the rooms like quite dated and is lack of decoration. Cleanliness can be improved: hair in the bathtub, coffee stains in the bedsheet etc. The plug are quite far away from anything which made it not convenient to use. - breakfast is ok with a la carte options and buffet (apart from fruits and pastries, it’s basically the English breakfast but place them separately in a buffet style, so don’t expect much). The quality of food is a problem though. I would have expected more as a 4-star hotel, and given the room rate isn’t cheap at all. - service is stone cold. Staff has just done the bear minimum.

The hotel was nice and comfortable to stay in. The room could have been cleaned a bit better, but overall it was still an enjoyable experience. Breakfast was really nice with a good selection, and the location was great being so close to all the City shops. I would consider staying here again.

I’ve stayed at this hotel multiple times over the past year and it never disappoints. The staff are so helpful and are there to hand 24/7. The hotel is gorgeous, neutral but stylish decor and it also smells amazing! We stayed for a birthday occasion and got a free room upgrade due to this ! We also ended up adding on and staying an extra night. The breakfast is included with most bookings and is a buffet however certain breakfast dishes can be ordered at your request.

I’ve stayed at this hotel a few times so it was a shock that the room was poorly cleaned, the shower was running cold water for a long time time before it warmed up. The lights next to the window were flickering.  The kettle wire wasn’t long enough to be on the desk and plugged in meaning I needed to place the kettle on the floor next to the outlet.  I specifically booked for a birthday weekend booking and nothing much was done to celebrate. Im going to assume the hotel is under different management. Change it back because your not doing a good job and I would never recommend this hotel to any family and friends anymore, you’ve also lost a off-peak customer as I travel throughout the week not just on weekends.

Good hotel in the heart of the city. Breakfast is a highlight. Sound proof works excellently.

First time I’ve stayed at the Alan but won’t be my last. Lovely hotel in general, room was clean bright & had very tasteful decor, staff were friendly & happy to help with any questions. I included breakfast in my stay, that was very good, hot food menu was varied & food was excellent, as a vegetarian there was a good choice.  The only negative point was there was only one lift in use so I had to wait a while each time. I look forward to staying here again.

The location of the hotel is extremely good because it is very near to the China Town in Manchester. So it is convenient to have Chinese food. The hotel also provides the guest with the breakfast and it is good too.

Nice clean room, comfy bed, quiet nights sleep! Very happy overall. Would stay again.

Amazing experience. It locates in the very central place, walking distance to every where. The BAR and dining area is cute and very Instagram style. The reception is friendly. Bed is super big and comfortable.
