We got married at Manchester Hall back in October and had the most magical day. From our initial meeting with Megan, our wedding co-ordinator, to our complementary overnight stay last night the team have always gone above and beyond. The bedrooms are spacious, sleek & classic Manchester. We had such a fabulous stay & breakfast at The Masons Bar was delightful. I went for the Masons Eggs Royale, which came with a generous portion of smoked Salmon, it was stunning. If you're looking for an incredible venue to host an event or just somewhere for an overnight stay in the city centre, this is the spot for you!

Awful night manager would not recommend, was very rude to our group even though we were guests. Said we didn’t “belong” here, which we did as we were guests. Would avoid at all costs, will not be spending my money there ever again. Awful experience.

Our University of Manchester graduation year could not have been more successful, in large part due to the wonderful support and hospitality provided by the first rate Manchester Hall team and the impressive beauty of the venue. From making our initial inquiry we had prompt and informative responses and discussions with the phenomenally efficient and lovely Taylor who guided us through menu and drink choice options and dining packages. Manchester Hall was very flexible in changing the dining room we used as our numbers fluctuated and also very helpful in arranging food and wine tastings (which enabled us to refine our food and drink choices). We held the reception and dinner in the gloriously grand Museum Room which we had until 1 am in the morning. The bar and serving staff were all really nice, friendly people who provided first class service throughout (and always present but never intrusive). The food, wine and other beverages were exactly what we hoped for and were all of high quality. Everyone who was at our reunion could not have been more effusive in its praise of Manchester Hall and thoroughly enjoying the evening. The price for the evening was very fair value for the quality provided.

Spent £4000 on an event to encounter numerous issues prior to and throughout the experience! It ruined my 50th birthday. Examples - Cocktails poured under the table from pre made sachets. My 78 year old mum slept in a camp bed as they sold us a twin room when they don’t even have any. Rude and incompetent staff. Stormed out of the bar. They closed the bar part way through my event as the till broke! Due to Wi-Fi problems that they know about and havnt bothered to fix. They served hash browns on dry bread for the evening buffet that was cold and late! chips in school diner trays with no plates to eat off when they charged me £4.50 per cone! No cones in sight. Specifically asked for two gluten free and a vegetarian - they provided nothing for them to eat! . No fresh orange or bacon at breakfast as it was Sunday!!! Rooms smell of human excrement! They advertise as a high class establishment that charge top dollar for nothing less than a substanded service. DO NOT BOOK HERE IT WILL RUIN ANY SPECIAL EVENT! ! They are incompetent! Two months into my complaint, still no partial refund. They promised me they would put it right and invited us for dinner in masons to demonstrate they can provide a good service. Still nothing! No one returns calls, emails! Appalling!! Feel it is only fair to warn you in advance if your special occasion being ruined.

We arrived for a family wedding and stayed in one of their bedrooms only to find that the room was cold (this was at the end of November 2020 and the temperatures were very cold that weekend). The next morning after freezing during the night, there was no hot water, how bad can this get. Don't worry it gets worse........ the banqueting room in the evening was freezing and quite a few guests kept their coats on, we had to bring our own heaters...... which was still not enough. Most of the staff were accommodating except the manager who told my daughter who was getting married and wanted to changed the tables, NO and don't ask again......nice....... I spoke to the MD the next day who paid lip service and said he would ring me back that was 5 weeks ago.......... I would not recommend this venue albeit I have tp say the food was good..

Had a lovely overnight stay including an evening meal in their restaurant Masons. We had a delicious cooked breakfast the following morning. Because the venue is pet friendly we were able to have our pet with us while we ate. The Staff are so welcoming and friendly..The food was excellent...Jodie the reception manager was so accommodating and helpful...its a big bonus having a pet freindly hotel in the city centre.. the staff where so attentive not just to us but my precious little pooch too..

We booked a one night stay at Manchester Hall (Christmas present for hubby) and had a great stay. The rooms were lovely, especially the roll top bath. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were helpful and attentive. Jodie, reception manager, really looked after us and was great to deal with during the booking process. Would definitely stay again and would recommend to friends.

We had our wedding party at Manchester Hall in September 2023. As soon as you walk through the doors you are enveloped in the splendour and beauty of Manchester Hall, a truly hidden Gem. Megan and Kelsey ensured that our plans for our special day were put in place. Will, Luciane, Georgina and Louis could not have done anymore to ensure our day was spectacular, nothing was too much trouble for the team , they were truly outstanding. Our guests still talk about how incredible the food was whilst the Manchester themed bedrooms were a beautiful and unique experience for our wedding party. If you are planning a UK city centre destination wedding, we can say without hesitation you should put Manchester Hall at the top of your list. Diane and Paul
