No sé por qué este hotel tiene una calificación tan alta. Había obras afuera del hotel y nadie me avisó; incluso me sobresalté mientras dormía la siesta. La habitación era pequeña, y la cama también. Lo único bueno era el baño, que era relativamente grande. La habitación tenía un olor extraño. El desayuno era muy limitado; debía haber un menú oculto, pero nadie lo mencionó. Había un menú de pago en la mesa. La recepción estaba en el último piso, lo cual era un inconveniente. No está cerca de la estación de tren; si llevas equipaje, te recomiendo tomar un taxi. Manchester en sí no es muy grande. También me cobraron un cargo por servicio de alojamiento discrecional de 7,63 libras al hacer el check-out, ¡y estoy intentando que Ctrip me lo reembolse! Todavía no hay resultados. ¡No recomendado!

Great hotel, only downside was the room was on the smaller size, had to shuffle around the bed! Other than that we had a great stay

Never like their tiger pattern bed cover as it’s not clean. Desk not clean. Carpet dirty. Only up side is its location as it’s next to office. If you checkin, you must first go to top floor (6/F) to check in, get your key then go to your room, same logistic for the check out which is so inconvenient.

the hotel gave away the room to other guest as we check in late. but it was all good. managed to provide a room. after all the experience was great.

It’s showing a little wear and tear such as water damage to woodwork in bathroom.  Dusting could be better and polishing of reception desk and lifts needs to be maintained better.  Downstairs looks messy    Just doesn’t feel 5* or luxurious anymore.   Room service was hit and miss, basics overlooked.  Did not feel like you were in a special hotel now

Anniversary break. Customer service was amazing like the last time we stayed and the room was beautiful And comfortable

Beautiful hotel with great room and facilities in a fantastic location. Service was painfully slow at breakfast and the waiters were inefficient and lacked urgency.

I thought this hotel looked lovely and would be an ideal stay for my wife and I in the centre of Manchester. I can honestly say that this is one of the best hotels i have stayed at in the UK. The service was 1st class from all members of staff throughout the hotel. The food was fantastic, i would definitely recommend dining in the restaurant. The bar area and rooftop option is superb with a great atmosphere. The suite we stayed in was top class. No complaints at all, and i will certainly be staying at the Gotham hotel the next time i'm in Manchester

Central location, unique hotel with nice breakfast. Probably the only thing is that could improve is the FD.

Great experience! From the moment we stepped through the door into the lobby we were surrounded by art. The architecture of the building is fantastic and the interior decor complements this perfectly. We felt like we had been transported to Gotham City but without Batman. Very well thought out concept and executed perfectly. Plenty of little touches to make the stay perfect.

Very clean hotel and comfy bed. All staff are very friendly and welcoming.

I had such a wonderful stay at this hotel last weekend. First and foremost, it is absolutely stunning — from its exterior to the reception and restaurant on the sixth floor to the en-suite Club Rooms my friends and I stayed in. I didn’t get a chance to try out the rooftop bar (it was my hen party so my weekend itinerary was packed) but I’ll definitely be back with my fiancé soon. After having a taste of the Hotel Gotham, I truly can’t think of anywhere else we’d stay when visiting Manchester. The staff were so accommodating — from allowing me to drop off my suitcase in the morning to letting my friend check into her room early and add her husband to the booking. Because I was in the city for a special occasion, the staff even left a little gift for me in my room (a handwritten postcard congratulating me on my engagement, as well as some super tasty sweet treats: iced cookies, chocolate-dipped strawberries and macaroons). Breakfast was delicious too and I was genuinely sad to leave, but I’ll definitely be back again soon.
