WOW. It will be hard to find somewhere better than this. I stayed in the loft. It was a beautiful room with very cool tech features. The view is outstanding no matter where you are. The staff are even better. Everyone is extremely friendly, knowledgeable, most of all want to make sure you have the best experience. They have a whole book of things to do and experiences and get discounted rates. They set everything up for you! Every night we were brought warm towels to shower without ever asking! The Acro matcha tea is my favorite drink in the WHOLE WORLD. I wish I could ship cases of it home. The restaurant also had excellent food. The resort exceeded our expectations in every way. I cannot wait to go back!

Heaven on earth. We have never been so relaxed. We left acro suites this morning after 6 nights to come to Santorini and we were so sad to leave. When we arrived the staff, in conversation, asked for the purpose of our visit and when we said to relax, their response was “allow us to spoil you” - and that they did ten fold! We never visit somewhere more than once but we discussed returning to the resort before we even left. The place is so serene and calm, perfect for a honeymoon or just to escape reality like we did. Little touches make a huge difference too - the turn down service, service of ALL staff we encountered, quality of food and drink, quality of the products and materials used, musicians at breakfast/in the evenings, setting on a remote cliff edge with an infinity pool overlooking the sea… I could go on. My advice would be, don’t hesitate just book and you will not regret!

Our recent experience at the upscale resort fell short of our expectations. Our stay encountered challenges right from the start as we were unable to secure the room we had requested months in advance, despite our willingness to pay extra for it. Management had told us that it’s based on availability, which is understandable, but no effort was made to accommodate our request and the email responses were simply basic and ignorant. When we arrived, the room we were given was lackluster, underwhelming, and didn’t have the views we hoped for given our request and the reason we visited this establishment – we couldn’t see the sunrise or sunset at all due to an obstructed view. We were told the room had a sunset view after our tour, which it did NOT. Despite being assured of privacy, our disappointment grew when we realized that guests in the room next to ours could easily look into our private space from their second-floor vantage point. It felt as though we were allocated the "whatever" room, with a minuscule glimpse of the ocean. The presence of a rusty showerhead and a broken iron further highlighted the mismatch between the resort's reputation and the actual experience we encountered. Adding to our frustration, we were billed for an item we didn't even use from the minibar on the second day. While the error was eventually rectified, it remained an inconvenience. Reaching an almost comical level of disbelief, the restaurant manager's response left us astounded. As we prepared to leave, requesting a take-out cup for our coffee, we were met with an explanation about environmental concerns. This puzzling situation highlighted a surprising lapse in a so-called "high-end" establishment's ability to address a straightforward customer need. Rather than offering a practical solution, it appeared that they hadn't even explored the available options, which once more showcased the lack of customer service. The resort's touted excellence was unfortunately eclipsed by a sequence of errors, an inadequately suited room, and peculiar service, all of which collectively underscored its failure to live up to its self-proclaimed reputation. Additionally, the quality of the breakfast food ranged from mediocre to passable at best. Despite the array of challenges we encountered, it's important to acknowledge the resort's picturesque surroundings and the dedication of its hardworking staff. The gym, while limited, offers ample space and is functional, and the spa service exceeded expectations. However, these positive aspects are marred by a lack of effective management. Despite its evident potential for greatness, the current state of affairs highlights the necessity for improved management practices. We share our feedback in the optimistic belief that the resort can evolve to achieve the excellence it's capable of. While we remain uncertain about a return visit, Crete offers a wealth of high-end alternatives with exceptional service to consider while visiting.

Being grateful to have experienced many 5+ star accommodations and world-class hotels/resorts in North America, Europe and Asia, my wife and I both came to the conclusion that Acro is definitely one of the best, if not THE best place we've stayed - and this takes into account all the key aspects of our experience. Venue: the setting was absolutely incredible... being situated at the highest point of the cliff overlooking the Sea of Crete. I can further attest to this as I woke up every morning to do sunrise jogs around the area at 5:30am. Although I'm sure the resorts around Acro have their benefits, I can certainly say that Acro's building quality, aesthetics and overall vibe stands out 100% vs its surrounding peers. I was speechless when watching the glowing sunrise. My wife and I were also stunned with the sunset view as well... can't beat that. I also want to add that the venue quality, finishings/detail and cleanliness are world-class and of the highest quality. Staff: the staff was extremely friendly, warm, polite, energetic and professional. Everyone we encountered was always giving us warm smiles and asking if we needed any help. We felt extremely welcomed from the moment we stepped foot in the hotel. The staff at the front desk were super helpful with getting us checked-in, as well as ensuring our check-out and car rental was smooth (apologies for not remembering the names!). Also, Georgia from the boutique shop was the first person to greet us with the biggest smile the moment we walked in the hotel and made us feel very welcomed. She was extremely sweet and friendly, answered all our questions with a smile and was also striking up fun conversations. We could tell that everyone in all departments (from front desk to housekeeping) were happy to be working there. This was a special quality of this young and talented team. Well done! Thank you all again for making our stay so memorable. Fitness center: My wife and I are big into fitness, so Acro's facilities and services definitely stood out to us. Aside from running around the resort, we also explored the gym and tried out some cross-training classes. What really stood out to us was the cross-training class led by Aris. His energy and warm personality immediately caught our attention. The first class we attended was an advanced class, and his professionalism and expertise were able to tailor craft a workout session that suited each client's needs. I was impressed with his ability to keep everyone engaged and push them to their limits! Acro and Asana Fitness Club is lucky to have Aris lead their classes and build out their fitness offering. Spa: the spa staff and masseuses were also very polite and professional. They were also very helpful in explaining the different treatments and recommending the right treatments that would suit our needs. The facilities were extremely comfortable and relaxing. Everything is beautiful, from the scenery, to the rooms, staff, food and coctails!! They're good at what they do and they know it!! The main restaurant is gorgeous, with a spectacular view and food to die for!! Breakfast had a huge variety of everything you would crave on your holidays, try freddo cappuccino to start your day and an Acro macha to keep you fresh all day! I'm so glad we decided to stay in Acro! The waiters made us feel like royalty! I don't know if any of the staff will read this, but we are thankful for everything! Keep up the good work

Stunning hotel with amazing rooms, great bar, incredible views, lovely breakfast, spa and so much more. We’ve stayed in a few lovely hotels in Crete and whilst the service is always great- Acro was another level. (Particular shout out to Sami who was amazing). It’s a remote location so best to have a car if you like exploring but the food is next level so you never have to leave if you don’t want to. My only feedback is that they need more playlists in the restaurant/bar/sunbathing area, the jazz is great initially but does get a bit repetitive after a couple of days! Tucked away off the main highway is Acro. Acro is not just a hotel, it is an experience, like no other. We were immediately greeted with a specialty matcha drink and promptly checked in. The staff from the moment we arrived till the second we left went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. A golf cart transports you to the room and other property spots. The room was exactly as described, Wave suite XL. below us was the cave suite (when researching, the picture of the cave suite was how i found this place), which sounded great, but from our room, we could see directly below into their deck, not super private for them. The room is much different than any other room we have ever stayed in. Like you were staying on the side of a cliff. Open shower to the room, very calm colors, concrete surroundings, and a majestic view of the sea. I loved the private pool. They offer many exercise, yoga options, and tennis that we did not use. The restaurant on site was wonderful, but enjoyed the sushi restaurant at their sister hotel much better. We are foodies, we care about quality not quantity, and Acro delivers on quality. Breakfast was amble and fresh. Hang out at the bar in the evening and stare at the stars and the sea, trust me you will feel like you are floating. I was in awe of this place, it truly will always have a special place in my memory. We are from NYC so hectic is around us 24/7, to be able to experience Crete and stay at Acro was a gift. We have high expectations, I have traveled throughout Europe, and this place took me down so many notches to pure peace. I loved every staff member at Acro. Besides the views, the staff is the best! Loved the staff and love Crete.
