South Coast

I can only talk positive about the rooms and the staff. Everything else was pretty bad. Very bad food both breakfast and dinner. The beach area is very meh as well. And there is absolutely nothing to do near the hotel, it feels like you are in an abandoned town. For the amount of money I wish I would have chosen something else.

Nice hotel with swimming pools and close to the beach. Clean and spacious rooms with comfortable double beds. Variety of food for breakfast (some extremely delicious) and a very good taverna close to the hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. We will definitely return here in the future.

This year has been my 4th year here and it's like coming home. The hotel has a friendly, family atmosphere and is in a quiet place where you can relax and not listen to discos until the morning. The rooms are modern, spacious, clean and the view is wonderful. The food was fantastic, we always knew what to choose. The pool bar was our favorite place where, apart from the beach, we probably spent the most time meeting new people and talking with our friends from the hotel. Of course, the drinks were not to be missed, they are really at the level. The staff here are very friendly and always knew how to give us tips on where to go and what to see. The beach is pebbly, but it didn't bother us, since the wind is common in Crete, and this way at least we didn't have sand everywhere. Can't wait to be here next year.

Exellent hotel. 2 Nice pools, clean and refreshing and beach nearby.50m) Breakfast could be a littlebit better. Good food and service! Exellent spaghetti-carbonara and spring-rolls! Martin in the bar makes the greatest mojito😎

We have had a fantastic experience throughout our stay in South Coast. The area is not filled with tourists, compared to other places in Crete. We felt very welcomed during our time spent, and felt like we knew many people in the hotel after a week. It was very clean, and the staff were amazing and helpful. We have 4 children, and everybody enjoyed staying in the hotel. The buffet wasn’t the biggest, but everything was very tasty and delicious. Else, there are very nice taverns close to the hotel where you can enjoy tasty seafood, greek wine and coffee. Beach is just 50 meters away. Great place to completely relax in the warm sun. We recommend to rent a car (the staff is very helpful with it) and take a trip to Ierapetra (less tourists and more locals)), Knossos. If else, recommend also an excursion to Spinalonga !:) We will definitely be coming back to South Coast ! Thank you guys for amazing experience !

Κάναμε την κράτηση μέσω του *********** βασιζόμενοι στις φωτογραφίες που έχει δημοσιεύσει το ξενοδοχείο. Όταν φτάσαμε, αφού περιμέναμε 5 λεπτά τον receptionist να τελειώσει την κουβέντα του στο τηλέφωνο για να μας εξυπηρετήσει μετά, μας πήγαν σε ένα δωμάτιο που δεν είχε καμία σχέση με αυτό που είχαμε δει στις φωτογραφίες. Όταν ζητήσαμε να μεταφερθούμε, αφού ο receptionist ενημέρωσε τον ιδιοκτήτη (του οποίου η πρώτη ερώτηση ήταν αν είμαστε Έλληνες ή ξένοι; ) μας είπαν ότι θα μας ενημερώσουν αν μπορούμε να μεταφερθούμε σε 10 λεπτά. Σε 10 λεπτά μας χτύπησαν και την πόρτα και μας είπαν ότι δεν υπάρχει άλλο διαθέσιμο δωμάτιο και αν θελουμε μπορούμε να φύγουμε. Καθώς ήταν μόνο για ένα βράδυ, αποφασίσαμε να μείνουμε. Καμία δικαιολογία από μέρους του ξενοδοχείου και μόνο ψέματα ότι τα δωμάτια υπάρχουν όλα στο ***********. Ψέματα. Εκεί υπάρχουν φωτό μόνο από τα ανακαινισμένα. Το δωμάτιο που μείναμε δεν άξιζε ούτε 30€ το βράδυ και μείς πληρώσαμε 102€. Στο check out που ήταν και ο ιδιοκτήτης δεν μας ζήτησαν καν συγνώμη παρά μόνο μας είπαν του χρόνου που θα έρθετε θα είναι όλα ανακαινισμένα. Εννοείται του ειπα δεν πρόκειται να ξανά πατήσουμε τα πόδια μας. Κερασάκι στην τούρτα, μείνετε μακρυά από το αυγό στο πρωινό. Εγώ έπαθα δηλητηρίαση και είμαι ακόμα με φάρμακα. Μακράν η χειρότερη εμπειρία που είχαν ποτε, με κάνει να αναρωτιέμαι πως έχουμε ακόμα τουρισμό στην Ελλάδα.

Tolles Hotel in ruhiger Lage mit schönem Strand. Super freundliches Personal und toller Service. Wir sind in der Nacht gegen 3:00 Uhr angekommen und hatten einen üppigen Mitternachtssnack im Kühlschrank. Die Zimmer sind modern und neu renoviert. Toller Ort um die Ruhe und Sonne zu genießen.

Liebenswertes, familiär geführtes Hotel. Kurze Bewertung in Stichworten: Essen - regionale Küche, stets lecker zubereitet Anlage - wird täglich gereinigt, da liegt nichts herum, sehr ruhig, keine Animation Pool - tägliche Reinigung und stetige Prüfung der Wasserqualität Zimmer - wir hatten eine Maisonette, sehr sauber, sehr ansprechend Strand - Kies unterschiedlicher Körnung, im Wasser grobe rund geschliffene Steine, Badeschuhe notwendig Im Ort selbst ist nichts los, Nachteulen kommen nicht auf ihre Kosten. Mietwagen würden wir empfehlen.
