El hotel tiene una buena ubicación, diagonalmente enfrente del Sands ******, muy cerca de la terminal de Hong Kong y Macao, el personal de servicio es amable, las habitaciones están ordenadas y limpias, el inconveniente menor es que el aire acondicionado no sabe cómo ajust**** , la temperatura es demasiado baja y hace frío, y me olvidé de preguntarle al personal. En general, conociendo la recomendación, elegiré Golden Dragon la próxima vez que vaya a Macao. El caso es que el precio es mucho más económico que en los hoteles del continente.

Keeping a hotel key card as remembrance of my stay with the hotel is my habit. Normally, most hotels would not mind giving out one or sell it to the hotel guest at discounted price as souvenir, and at worst, the hotel guest would have to purchase the card at full price as a lost card to fulfill such purpose. All the manager then have to do is to tap the card against a machine to demagnetize or to let the chip within the card to make it not function. However, the manager denied my request repeatedly and made the security issue of the card such a fuss that there is no way that he could let guest keep the key card, be it for free or at a price. I then asked him whether I could report one of the cards as ”lost” and I would happily pay the price in full to keep it, as the outcome would be the same as purchasing one from the hotel. He bluntly said ”NO” in a relatively loud tone as the cards were not lost and that there were CCTV everywhere even though the result would be the same as a lost card. He also made the process in demagnetizing the card or make the chip within the card not working sounded as if its very complicated or like rocket science. He actually lied, as I sat at the lobby for a little longer as more guests checked out, he just asked his staff to tap the cards to make them not function... This is the only hotel that I have not been able to get a key card as remembrance with all hotel stays I had around the world and I am not happy at all with this morning shift male manager...

A king size double bed with long sofa beside as well as a dining table. A more private area with a proper writing desk can also be found near the corner of the room which is perfect for business trip or if you need to have a private discussion with someone. Bed mattress and pillows are slightly better than average, not the best which is expected as its a 4-star hotel which has been operating for close to 20 years and only re-renovated in 2011. But then to my surprise, the hotel actually got the finest shaving blade and shaving cream as compared to 10 other hotels that I have stayed in Macao. Was in a hurry in leaving the room and I managed to finish my shave within 5 minutes. The shave was exceptionally clean and smooth and left not even a single cut or scratch anywhere on my face. Trust me, for other hotels, I normally have to shave for 15 - 20 minutes and have to use tissue to dry of any blood resulting from a shaving blade which is either too sharp or too blunt... My shave at Casa Real was just perfect! Finally, checkout was also efficient and both the staff and morning shift manager were more than happy to allow me to keep a hotel room key card as remembrance for my stay. I was also given a new blank one when I requested for it! I really enjoyed my stay with Casa Real and was very happy with all the front desk staff as well as managers' efficiency and friendly attitude. Will definitely stay in this hotel should I have any future opportunities. However, the downside of this hotel is its location. Most taxis do not normally come to this area to look for customers. For those that do come, are the ones that drop off passengers at the hotel, which means it can take longer than usual to get a taxi. It took me 17 minutes last time and there were 3 more passengers at my back waiting... Hotel guests should be aware of this or should walk to nearby areas to get a taxi more easily.

El hotel estaba bien. Mi bañera no funcionaba así que tuve que llamar a la recepción, y cuando vinieron a repararla, pregunté la temperatura del agua porque su luque es caliente, NO caliente & me dijeron ”es sólo la manera que es” ... También tienen muy limitadas maneras de tomar el depósito, sus máquinas no tomarían mi tarjeta de débito de visado, tarjeta de crédito maestro o mi tarjeta de pago de la unión, así que a las 10:30 p.m. tuve que tomar un taxi todo el camino de vuelta al aeropuerto para retirar dinero! También el ”bus de navegación” que han tenido no incluye el aeropuerto, y sólo comienza a las 11:45.
