My recent hotel stay was a significant disappointment. The hotel's location left much to be desired, it’s in the middle of nowhere so you have to use a car to go anywhere. Our room had a not exactly charming view of a fuel station.
The restaurant experience was frustrating, as we had to wait in a 15-20 minute queue at the bar on a Friday night just to place an order. This process could be greatly improved with the use of QR codes on the tables for ordering. To make matters worse, when the food finally arrived, it was cold and underwhelming. We ended up sending our plates back to the kitchen and lost our appetite for the evening. I noticed that people by the table next to ours were sending their plates back, too.
The main reason we booked this hotel was the pool, but it was a letdown. Not only was it an additional cost, but we could only book it once during our stay, and for just 45 minutes – a rather ridiculous restriction.
As for the room, it initially appeared ok, but our enthusiasm waned when we noticed unsightly yellow stains on the bed covers. Finally, the parking, which we hoped to use for charging our electric car, turned out to be unreliable. It worked for a short period before stopping, and the same issue occurred the following day with a different charger.
Given these numerous issues, I cannot in good conscience recommend this hotel to anyone, and I regret our decision to stay there.
