I had a fantastic stay at the Apsara! I booked a room with a great view over the river and a little balcony to enjoy the view. The high-ceilinged and tastefully decorated room is really pleasant and the bed very comfortable. In the morning, there is a delicious breakfast to look forward to. But it’s the team that made my stay really special! I stayed at the Apsara a year ago - Dec ‘22 - and I carelessly left my medication in my room. The team kindly - and beyond the call of duty - kept my medication for a year - and when I returned Dec ‘23 - there it was in my room fridge! Ivan, the owner, Chris, the Manager and Loom, one of the team members, all made my stay really special. When I returned to the hotel from an up-country trip, to pick up luggage and my laundry and to catch a tuk tuk to the railway station, I found that Chris and the team had carefully arranged everything, the laundry neatly packaged, my luggage ready, the tuk tuk waiting. A truly amazing experience I cannot recommend the Apsara enough.

A wonderful experience. Right in the heart of Luang Prabang old town but away from the noise. The hotel is charming and the rooms comfortable and full of character. Possibly the most luxurious bed of my six week trip in Asia! It also has a wine bar with a great selection of very fairly priced wines. It seems that the owner was in the wine trade and it shows. Also very good and personal service. Highly recommend.

I stayed two nights in this beautiful hotel which has an authentic charme of "Indo-Chine". My room on the first floor was gorgeous, spacious and full of character in any detail. I liked the small balcony too, which may be however noisy due to the traffic on the road. The staff is helpful and made my stay comfortable and safe. I would recommend this hotel if you are looking for some authentic experience and a place with just few rooms. Hope to come back soon!

This is our second time to Luang Prabang and this lovely boutique hotel on the banks of the Nam Khan. Even though the city has changed, we were as comfortable and well looked after as before. The staff not only exudes warmth but also showcases remarkable expertise. The wine selection is nothing short of sumptuous, the rooms radiate elegance, and the intimate size of the hotel provides a serene atmosphere allowing one to relish the surroundings without the hustle and bustle. Ideally positioned, it offers a perfect vantage point to marvel the many temples while nestled in the heart of the bustling center. A big thank you to the incredible members of the Apsara team (Mr. Lum, Miss Nuunaa and Christopher)

I stayed here for 5 nights over the Lantern Festival weekend and everything was beyond my expectations. The price, the location, the very warm and welcoming team, a really good nights sleep, enormous and very well appointed bathroom, with some lovely little touches that made it an extremely comfortable stay. Thank you to everyone at The Apsara for looking after me so well, I'll be back!

Had a very good stay at AH. The staff, especially Christopher and Loom, were very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was very good. They also took care of picking me up and dropping me off along with some excursions. Only caveat is if you're a light sleeper try to get a room not on street level or bring ear plugs. I had ear plugs and slept fine on the 1st floor. Would definitely stay here again if in LP.

A historic hotel with charm. Short walk ish to main drag, morning market, night market, sunset drinks over the Mekong River and very short walk to temple where the monks exit for alms Big and comfortable rooms Loved eating breakfast outside in the morning. The restaurant was not open properly for dinner, but next to the hotel two great restaurants and bakeries also very close, for lunch. Staff very friendly and helpful. All trips were organized through the hotel, good prices and great guides and transport. I was travelling with my Mother, who is 77, she gave the hotel a double thumbs up! Thankyou to all the staff at the Apsara.
