Staybridge Suites LONG BEACH AIRPORT by IHG

They gave us key card for HC room we reserved, but it had not been cleaned and really messed up. I MEAN REALLY MESSED UP! We are elderly and Mom is disabled, so was difficult having to go back down to the lobby with large bags and ask for another room. They then do not have HC room we reserved available without long wait for them to clean room. We really need a room and we have to take none HC room, just to get a room so M9m can rest. Not an easy check in and Mom could not shower as they had no HC room clean and she needs HC shower. Oh well. Bummer.

Overall, I had a great experience at the Staybridge at Long Beach, the staff was incredibly helpful, and the amenities were great. The room was wonderful, clean, and perfect to party at The Queen Mary nearby.

Very Good Location and easy to way LGB airport

Property was nice. They had a nice free breakfast. The staff was not always aware of the hotel policy and therefore cannot help the guests. I was charged a deposit twice. The room was a studio with an extra wall. I cut our stay short because there were 3 beds but barely any room to move. The rooms are over priced considering there is very limited space.

The staff at the front desk was pretty good for the most part. We were comfortable in our suite for the most part. Our room was actually pretty nice and we situated 5 of us pretty well in a room that's suited for up to 6 people. However, We did mention on two different occasions that the water pressure in the shower was not strong, and that the ice-maker in our refrigerator was not working. They said they would send maintenance to take a look. Neither time did anyone ever show up. Would have been a 4 or 5-star but the lack of effort to tend to either of those concerns is the reason for my rating. Also, the insulation between floors is poor, because we heard people stomping upstairs, and the people cleaning the room above us on sunday morning. Overall, not bad, but room to improve for sure.

Check in was quick and efficient. Very friendly staff. The room was clean except for some carpet stains and a stain on the sofa. The sleeper sofa mattress wad also a little frayed and lumpy. Overall a good property at a great price.
