Hotel location is very good. Near Mataram Mall and eateries. Breakfast is also good. Room is big with fridge n good wifi connection.

Las instalaciones del Katamaran son excelentes. Las habitaciones amplias y buena calidad de sueño. Recomendamos la Ocean View. Hay algún déficit en la limpieza y conservación. Por ejemplo, las colchonetas de la terraza estaban sucias y tenían quemaduras de cigarrillos. Las toallas de la piscina, al menos las blancas, tenían también restos de manchas antiguas. Creemos que ambas cosas en un hotel de esta categoría, son mejorables. Hay dos piscinas, pero con el problema es que ninguna de ellas está reservada a adultos. Tener un descanso en la piscina después de comer puede ser tarea imposible con niños de corta edad jugando en la piscina. Esto se resolvería fácilmente reservando una de las piscinas para adultos. El desayuno es mejorable. Era amplio en cuanto oferta, pero el único café que sirven es de lo peor que hemos probado. Pedimos todos los días un café de máquina (tipo expresso) que tuvimos que pagar a parte El personal del hotel es en general muy amable y servicial. Nos ayudaron especialmente para contratar tours a gili islands

Pearl of Trawangan was a luxurious, incredibly clean, and central hotel, whilst still being far enough away from the noise of the local bars (5 minute walk from bars). The pool was lovely with a very well kept pool bar, managed by very helpful and attentive staff who couldn’t have been nicer/more accommodating. There were bikes you could hire from 100,000 rupiah (approx £5) per day to make your way round the island as there are no cars on Gili T. The rooms were spacious with a lot of storage, good AC and a comfortable bed. The bathroom area is effectively outside, however there is a canopy and it is always kept spotless by the staff so was still very comfortable. The restaurant was also second to none. They feed you plenty at breakfast time offering complimentary pastries and fruit, and have plenty of options for your “main” breakfast. Our breakfast was included when booking our stay. We also had a lunch and a dinner here, both of which were superb. Having cycled round the whole island, I think we chose the best accommodation on the island. Some of the others, despite looking nice, had pools right by the main road which didn’t offer much privacy, whereas the pool here was set back, still benefitted from the sun shining on it all day, and offered plenty of sun loungers. They also had their own loungers on a designated part of the beach, which is literally 10 steps from the hotel reception, meaning you can enjoy the best of both worlds. Could not recommend enough. We stayed here mid-June 2023.

Hotel nuevo, espectacular villas grandes con vistas increíbles y piscina privada. Colchon, sofá y amacas muy cómodas. De sueño. Servicio excelente y comida rica, la zona es muy tranquila pero abajo hay una parada de taxis y en 5 minutos estás en el centro de Sengigi. El masaje en el Spa fue excelente. Lo menos agradable no tiene que ver con el hotel, sino que en la misma colina hay una mezquita muy activa con altavoces, no solo se oye la música de la hora de rezos desde las 4am (que tiene encanto) sino que se escuchan las oraciones y cantar durante horas y horas. Es difícil descansar y relaj**** así.

El hotel es hermoso y grande. El personal es súper trabajador... constantemente limpian el follaje... lavan algo... en general, bien hecho muchachos. La piscina es bonita, grande y limpia. No está permitido nadar de noche. El mar es bueno. Las olas grandes dan fuerza para los juegos... los desayunos son bastante decentes... todo mejoró. Desventajas: Muchos mosquitos. Lejos del centro.Y si no tienes suerte con los vecinos, considera que el resto está mimado. Las casas de dos pisos tienen un aislamiento acústico deficiente. Y si vives en el primer piso, entonces no tienes suerte.

Santorini está situado en el otro lado del Gili T del puerto. Me caminé por el centro de la isla para llegar allí y me tomó unos minutos 25-30. Si tienes un equipaje grande o de rodillo, no lo sugeriría. No me pareció que tratara de razonar con los conductores de caballos (no se atrapa en la isla) porque fue mi primera vez y no sabía cuánto debería costar. PS, los conductores de caballos son un estándar de 100.000. El hotel es un hotel de 3 estrellas. Otra caída, es el resort está lejos de la vida nocturna que está más cerca del puerto si planeas salir tarde. Y volver al resort, caminas o bicicletas hacia abajo estas carreteras muy oscuras. terminé saliendo después del día 2 porque la piscina todavía no estaba funcionando. La gente era amable y el servicio era agradable. Me compensaron dandome un alquiler de bicicletas gratis. Mi recomendación es si usted planea quedarse en un lugar para relajarse, Santorini está bien para que si la piscina está funcionando por la razón que la playa está justo a lo largo del resort. Pero si planeas explorar la isla y posiblemente hacer la vida nocturna, me quedaría más cerca del puerto.

I very much warn AGAINST booking at this hotel and want to share my experience with Selong Selo on here to spare others the nightmare we experienced: This hotel essentially took our money and made it impossible to get a refund or rebooking. We had booked a stay at Selong Selo for 2020 - unfortunately Indonesia stopped tourism entries due to Covid and we were stuck discussing back and forth with the hotel, about what to do with our reservation. The first thing we realized was that communication with this hotel is extremely slow and difficult, since very single time someone new responded in what I would deem pretty bad English. Since 2020 we have sent countless emails (many left unanswered) and two years later are yet to get a refund or rebooking for our prepaid reservation of 1.500€. In this time Selong Selo staff has given us the hardest time I have ever experienced with any hotel during Covid: They set absurd deadlines for rebookings (essentially asking us to travel when there were no flights to Indonesia), downgraded the villa category we booked and then took days off our booking in case we rebooked. To be honest we don’t really see how we will get our money back and all this feels like a scam through and through. My verdict is this: Should something go wrong, you are stuck with this hotel and will lose your money. There are plenty of professional hotels in Lombok, so steer clear of Selong Selo!

I stayed at this hotel from the 19 to 25 February, 2023 (7D6N), on the 8th floor (8XX). This hotel has very strategic location, especially close to the Mataram Islamic Center. The guest room is minimalist but roomy compared to similar competitors. The variety of breakfast is quite complete. The hotel staff are friendly, starting from the security, receptionists, as well as the restaurant section. What makes it special too, every day the hotel provides free Lombok-style snacks and a mini bar which is filled with soft drinks and snacks every day (free of charge too). Just a suggestion for a safe deposit box so that the size is slightly enlarged, at least it can store a 13 inch laptop 😊. If there is an assignment in the city of Mataram, God willing, I will stay at this hotel again.
