We stayed in Finco Grillo. What an amazing week we had with excellent ingredients; a very comfortable and nice house with great swimming pool, suburb view on a quiet valley and warm welcome from our host Willem! What a breathtaking experience to be surrounded by millions of stars without any light pollution! Yes, you have to take a few curves before you are at the beautiful sea side of Costa Blanca, but that is more than compensated by the above.

I had an amazing stay at the delightful Holiday Home Finca Iris. It exceeded all my expectations. Nestled in the captivating Sierra de Bèrnia, this hidden gem offers a rejuvenating escape. If you seek a peaceful retreat, Finca Iris is perfect. The awe-inspiring view of the majestic Sierra de Bèrnia mountain range struck me upon arrival. The tranquil beauty of the mountains provided a serene backdrop throughout my stay. The silence, interrupted only by enchanting birdsong, adds to the peaceful atmosphere. Finca Iris blends authenticity and modern comfort seamlessly. The interior design showcases the region's rich heritage with charming traditional elements. It also offers modern amenities for convenience and comfort. For outdoor enthusiasts, Finca Iris is an ideal choice. The surrounding area boasts numerous trails and paths for invigorating runs or leisurely walks. The picturesque landscapes make every run memorable. While the road to Finca Iris is narrow, I was pleasantly surprised by its excellent quality. The journey added to the sense of adventure and discovery. The inviting swimming pool at Finca Iris is perfect for a refreshing dip in the warm Mediterranean climate. Whether you swim or relax by the poolside, it ensures a delightful and relaxing experience. I must mention Villem, the host of Finca Iris. His warm and friendly nature made our stay even more enjoyable. His genuine hospitality made us feel right at home. In summary, Holiday Home Finca Iris is a true haven for tranquility, natural beauty, and a warm welcome. With breathtaking views, a peaceful atmosphere, friendly host, and well-appointed facilities, it offers an exceptional holiday experience. I wholeheartedly recommend Finca Iris for a memorable retreat in a stunning location.

We stayed in Casa Grillo with our extended family. The house surpassed our expectations in every way. There were the essentials in the kitchen (like oil, salt, detergent and soap, so we didn't need to buy all of that ourselves) as well as very good equipment and utensils, the rooms were tastefully decorated and spacious. The views were simply breathtaking. The hosts were nice and approachable. The pool is a delight. Its location is very quiet, but you are only a small drive from the Costa Blanca. We highly recommend this environmentally conscious and stunning accommodation. Would love to come back.

We can highly recommend and will return! If you are looking for a special bed and breakfast with stunning scenery and excellent hosts, Refugio Marnes is a must. Rooms were comfortable and very clean with tasteful furnishings. There isn't a television but you don't visit special accommodation like this to watch the TV. You have access to a kitchen with your own fridge and next time we visit we hope to sample one of Richard and Willems dinners. Breakfast is varied and a delicious continental breakfast. The bed and breakfast is surrounded in beautiful countryside with small terraces and there is areas when the weather is good to just sit and relax in the peace and quiet and just fully unwind. There is a beautiful swimming pool with sunbeds which due to the weather we were unable to try. The drive was a bit windy and you will need to take care if arriving in the dark but was so worth it! We had an issue with the WiFi once and after Richard restarted the router it worked perfectly. Ordinarily we wouldn't have needed it but with a family member sick and Ukraine we needed to check all was okay. There wasn't any mobile signal in your room. The bed and breakfast is environmentally friendly. I would have preferred more cushions on the bed but apart from that I thought it was perfect apart from the weather! This is a beautiful bed and breakfast in idyllic surroundings and we are now looking for a date to return!

We had a great holiday at Refugio Marnes. We stayed in the beautiful holiday home Casa Grillo. For the five of us, two adults and three children, it was a spacious house, fully equipped and well cared for! From the terrace and the pool you have beautiful views, especially on the Sierra de Bernia. From the house you can take beautiful walks and run challenging trails. If you leave early you might spot some wildlife. Willem and Richard are the hosts and do so with great passion. They could tell us a lot about the area. We highly recommend Casa Grillo! We hebben een fantastische week gehad in Finca Iris. Een prachtig huis en van alle gemakken voorzien. De ligging is top, midden in de natuur en de uitzichten geweldig. Elke dag hebben we gave wandelingen gemaakt. Daarna een lekker duik in het fantastische zwembad. En dan genieten van het uitzicht met een lekker wijntje op de veranda. We hebben voor volgend jaar al weer geboekt. Een echte aanrader.

Met 10 vriendinnen hebben wij genoten van de dagen die wij doorgebracht hebben op het prachtige landgoed! Wij hadden alle 6 kamers van de Finca/Los Establos tot onze beschikking en daarmee het hele huis! De kamers zijn gezellig en verzorgd ingericht. De ligging in het berggebied vonden wij heerlijk, weg van de drukte, prachtige uitzichten, midden in de natuur. We hebben een fijne wandeling gemaakt, met als rustpauze een heerlijke lunch bij een restaurantje in het berggebied. Richard heeft twee keer voor ons gekookt, dat was heerlijk, echt een aanrader! Ook de ontbijtjes waren goed verzorgd en altijd met fruit en verse jus d’orange erbij. Een auto is onmisbaar, het is een half uur rijden richting het dal/de kust, maar dat vonden wij geen probleem. Ook een dagje Valencia is prima te doen. Al met al een heerlijk plekje, echt aan te raden!

Het was Genieten met een grote G in Casa Grillo. Wat een prachtig en supercomfortabel huis! Alles is er en het is ook allemaal mooi en goed verzorgd. Heerlijk veel buitenruimte om het huis met meerdere zitjes en een prachtige uitzicht op de bergkam. En een prachtig zwembad, met hetzelfde mooie uitzicht. De ligging is fantastisch, weg van de drukke stranden en steden, maar die zijn wel prima bereikbaar voor een dagje of middagje. Perfect verblijf, dank voor het gastvrije onthaal Willem en Richard. Wij komen zeker terug!
