Mitton Hall Hotel

What a brilliant stay. Great location. Lovely room. The staff were friendly and polite. Special mention to Joseph. He was polite, friendly and chatty. Everything you would want your host to be! Food and wine was delicious. We will definitely return

A big thankyou to Annabell and all of the staff at Mitton Hall for a great pre-Christmas overnight stay with friends. A very warm welcome, excellent food, a cosy real log fire and an amazingly decorated great hall and tree. Looking forward to our next visit.

This was our fourth afternoon tea at MittonHall. As always the staff were very good , the hotel and its restaurant are a lovely experience for such an occasion. We did feel the contents of our afternoon tea , had gone down a tad in quality from previous years, we were told that what we read on the menu , is what we would get, that wasn't the case.? The food offering lacked the wow factor it had on previous visits . Having said that, we enjoyed the afternoon. A special mention for Annabelle who patiently tried to unravel our payment voucher issues, which in the end was resolved .

I've stayed and eaten here many times and given the consistent excellent quality and service, thought it was time to leave a review. The hotel offers clean comfortable rooms from the basic double to the individual decorated suits. The food is of excellent quality with locally sourced produce.... Also everything we've eat has been cooked to perfection and served hot. The grounds are beautifully matained and great to walk around to help burn off the delicious breakfast.... All I can hope is that it maintains this quality so as I can continue to visit

Excellent oldy worldy Tudor house. Beautiful approach and easy parking. Pleasant and efficient check-in on arrival. We made our way to our room- Mitton suite- along 3 quaint corridors. Room was dressed superbly with nice cushions and throws. There was an small lounge with a lived-in settee that oozed character. Bathroom was modern with both bath and separate shower. We did have a slight problem with the evening shower as water was only like warm. Luckily Sam the duty manager worked his magic with the boiler and all was well. Gorgeous setting in the bar with roaring fires and plenty of choice with draught beers. Food was absolutely brilliant for both evening meal and breakfast- compliments to yhr chef and staff. Highly recommended 👌

Well what can we say...Mitton Hall was the most perfect wedding venue for us. We both fell in love with it during our viewing instantly for the old/new layout but the team are what sold us as you could tell they knew exactly what they were doing and how much they cared! We cannot thank the wedding team especially Eleanor and Joseph for their outstanding services. Eleanor was our first person of contact who helped us fill out all our wedding details and managed any changes or questions we had! Every time we spoke to her, it was like speaking to an old friend and she made us feel so special. What a truly wonderful and professional individual. Now onto the day...Joseph ran our wedding day, and we were so excited to work with him as he appreciated our nerdy side to the wedding of Doctor Who and the day ran so smoothly without a single hitch. We cannot thank him enough as he was there checking in on us constantly and guided us throughout the day and made sure we remembered it was our day and to enjoy it! Honestly if you are looking to book a wedding venue, I would definitely highly recommend this venue as they made our day extra special and we cannot thank them enough.
