"Staying here now with my family after a really bad experience with the Weston super mare east branch last night I can definitely say I can not fault the rooms here in liskeard premier inn there spotlessly clean by far the cleanest premier I have ever stayed in and have air con too and the staff are lovely especially the cleaner girls so welcoming and friendly would definitely stay here again absolutely lovely hotel."

"Excellent location, in the heart of Cornwall and set in the peaceful surroundings of a working farm. Had a lovely warm welcome from Stephanie and Mervyn and the rest of the family. The farmhouse is a real treasure and the hosts are super friendly. My room was a lot larger than I expected and very, very comfortable, with a large bed, plenty of pillows, large flat screen TV and free toilette and luxurious towels too. The breakfast was absolutely gorgeous and nothing was too much trouble for Stephanie."

"Hotel was clean and quiet. Reception staff friendly. Dinner in Tavern was not good at all, cheap ingredients and neither of us enjoyed it unfortunately. Breakfast was a lot better thankfully. Jamie is excellent and helpful and efficient in the tavern. All staff are pleasant."

"I was very well looked after at the Sportsman's Valley Hotel. This is a friendly, family run b&b at the pub. It's right opposite the railway station, so an ideal stay without a car. There are beautiful views down the valley at the back. The rooms are fresh, clean, and very well appointed. The evening meals are superb, delicious, and very popular with locals and visitors. The breakfast was wonderful. It was a joy to stay. Thank you."

"We stayed in Beechleigh Cottage in 2023 where we had a wonderful stay but forgot to leave a review. We have just spent another two delightful weeks at Beechleigh and everything was again delightful. The cottage is very well equipped, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Set in a very peaceful farm location with no traffic noise and with fields all around. Sitting on the patio chairs on a sunny evening with a bottle of wine, listening to wonderful bird songs, or the occasional greetings from the neighbouring cows or distant sheep, is so wonderful and relaxing - you just cant beat it. Great walks from the doorstep and conveniently located to explore lots of Cornwall. Stephanie, Mervyn and their family are wonderful hosts and they go out of their way to ensure you have a great stay. Definately worth a 5 star rating and I am sure we will be back again in the near future."

"Couldn’t fault it at all! Beautiful views! Cabin was clean and well kept! We popped to the bar and the landlady and landlord were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area! You should expect a lot of animal poo (so don’t wear your best trainers) was amazing to wake up to the sheep and cows right on your door step! Will definitely be going back again!"
