I prepaid for my room only to stay for 10 minutes after checking in. The room smelled like a strong cleaner and was not anything like the pictures show on their website. The bathtub had a piece of rusted metal attached, the room furnishings were old and odd characters were hanging out. I felt very unsafe and when asked by the front desk clerk why I was not satisfied, I answered honestly. She told me that because I checked out within30 minutes of arriving, I would receive a full refund. That has not happened and I’ve been told that because I booked through Trip.com I would need to contact them for a refund and do I did but to no avail and the saga continues.
Never do business with Trip.com, they are a Chinese based company and although they said via chat they would contact the hotel manager for a refund, they are not giving me a refund. Please see a snapshot of the email I received from them earlier today.
I will never do business with either company again and urge you to look at the reviews before you book.
