Very nice place, typical architecture, central location in the old town. Rooftop terrace with a 360 degree view until the mountains. Owner was very welcoming, and helped us in all aspects of our trip, it felt for us like home in Lijiang. We would definitely recommend and book again.

Some of the friendliest hotel staff! They tried to reach out before our stay to make sure we could find the place. We arrived while they were eating dinner, and they invited us to sit and have some food, poured us tea, gave us watermelon, and even a slice of cake that they happened to be celebrating with that day. And on our way out the next morning, they offered us more tea and flower cakes. They offered multiple times to help us book tickets to the major attractions in the city or just with recommendations for places to eat. They've been running the place for 8+ years and the hotel has a cute courtyard and a small rooftop area. It's located right off one of the busy areas, but down a small alley, take the right fork, and around the corner. So we actually couldn't hear much noise at night despite the close proximity.

The owner updgraded us for free in a nicer room (in exchange for a nice review): the 5 star is 100% well deserved. The hotel is well situated, clean, beautiful and the rooftop is perfect to chill and offers an incredible view on the old city.

Visiting Lijiang from Malaysia, this inn is great! Located in the center of the Old Town, close to Square Street, Waterwheel and Sakura Restaurant. The roof observation deck overlooks the Ancient City and the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. The owner and staff are welcoming and the room is clean and tidy. Very recommendable!

We had a great stay here. The inn was at the centre of lijiang old town and the service was very good! The staff were very kind and helpful. I also love the rooftop, it has a great view of the old town and also the yulong mountain

Location of the Inn was right in the middle of the old town whichwas excellent but a little bit too far from the main road to catch taxi out of town. The service was excellent. The gentleman took good care of me, helping out on every questions.

Great location. Walking distance to the center of the Lijiang Ancient City attraction. The staff named Xiao Long was super helpful and friendly. He brought us from the drop off point to the hotel and also helped us to carry the luggage. He brought us to the taxi pick up point when we were leaving for another destination. We will visit again in future.

it's a lovely property. Wifi is good. The staff are very helpful. But if you have heavy suitcases, be prepared to drag them for a long time on uneven cobbled-stone streets from the major transit points. if you don't want to do that or if you don't want to hire a pretty inexpensive electric tricycle, you should consider staying just outside of the old town. 这是一家不错的酒店。Wifi很好。工作人员非常乐于助人。但是，如果你有沉重的行李箱，请准备好将它们从主要交通点拖到不平的鹅卵石街道上很长一段时间。如果你不想拖着行李箱，或者不想租一辆相当便宜的电动三轮车，你应该考虑住在老城区外。

We were apprehensive about which hotel to book in Lijiang old town as there were so many to choose from, but we were so glad we chose the Sunshine Inn! The Ayi and owner were both lovely and made it so easy to register as a foreigner. There is no heating in the rooms but they have us a heater, electric blanket and an extra quilt to keep us toasty even in winter. The bathtub in the room was an added extra for a great price. We will certainly be going back!

The inn was very nice. The rooms were clean and new. It is at the heart of the ancient city. The hosts are very welcoming and warm, always offering tea and snacks.
