The Grand Bain Hotel is old, and seems to be quite worn out. Not impressed at all. The pool was wonderful and well kept. The breakfast at Hotel France was great. But cannot recommend The Grand Bain Hotel. The Hotel France seems in better condition and updated.

This hotel needs to be Revamped. And 90% of the Facilities they wrote about do not exist or are closed. There is probably 1/10 facilities that operate as they should. It’s too expensive for what you get. The wellness part of what makes this hotel attractive is not there. The only thing that the hotel offers that still works is the 1 Warm Pool and that’s it. Even the restaurant they have is just 1/10. The food was ok, but as always Pricey. Expect to pay about USD150 for dinner for 2 people.

The hotel is opposite to of spa, the hotel is old, in addiction the bedroom is not the bedroom in the photos of *******.
The breakfast was very good in quality and variety.
The staff is very frendly, bad the sauna was not working.

Visited the spa only, not the hotel. The spa is exceptional and despite some poor reviews we found the staff to be welcoming, friendly, informative. Went for the Roman Irish experience with the brush massage. Very professional, relaxing experience and highly recommended. Various tariffs so you can pick and choose if you want just thermal pool entry, massage or sauna. The sauna village is recommended too. Both the Roman Irish area and the sauna are nude, no kids allowed. You book a time slot and chances are you will be alone for the 2 hour session, maybe just catching the previous couple leaving.

This mountain spa use to be one of the best places to relax in Europe. Since it changed management about five or six years ago it has deteriorated significantly. It now allows kids under 16 years old and often infants. The kids piss in the pool, dive off the structures and cause what used to be relaxing experience, too be a dangerous experience. The cleaning if the pool has deteriorated. The staff seems untrained...meaning you can wait a quarter of an hour for the reception to deal with one

One of the worst hotel I have stayed. The service was uncalled for to get the guest to collect a requested item (extra pillow) from another building in the cold of the night. The shower room was so small even for my average size. The items in the room were old & needed to be changed.

The hotel is scamming clients with false publicity. All their spa pics are of the Alpentherme, and they are very careful to make you think that that's what you're getting with the terible room you book for a price double the competition. Then you discover what they "mean" is their own local spa, not the fancy one you see on all the pics, the old and crappy one :) it's actually the same enterprise managing both, so the scam is genuinely intentional. The hotel itself is a max 2 stars experience. The breakfast was nice, the personnel very friendly. The rooms are very old and dirty, the bedding horrible, the walls paper-thin. Don't get this hotel. Put your money in any other place :)

I have been a guest at this property for many years, and I have seen a disturbing decline in the overall service, and amenities. There has been no improvement of the rooms, and the entire property. The small staff present were very helpful and caring during our visit. They were outstanding.

It is a bit confusion to get around the various buildings to get to the room, which was in Maison Blanche, the older building. The state of the room needs a real redo, as well as the free pool, which is not very clean. But the situation is ideal in the center of the village. Parking daily will cost you 14 CHF, the staff at the reception can be overwhelmed (and slow) trying to explain the complex to all travellers. Breakfast buffet really complete and with varied sorts of food fruits juice bread. The coffee machine was broken, so brew coffee only. But staff there at the breakfast place efficient and nice.
