"First of all, it was a place that surprised us incredibly, this place we found by chance was perfect. It is old but very beautiful. It is a place where you can spend time in peace and feel at home, with olive trees and many sounds of nature on a large land. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. It is within walking distance to Molivos. There is no parking problem, the breakfast is sufficient, there is a beach and a pool. The beach bar also serves as a tavern. It is a calm, quiet and beautiful place. If you are thinking of staying in the north of the island, it should be your first choice. We left extremely satisfied."

La gente que trabajaba en el bar, en el restaurante, el dueño del hotel y las hermosas mujeres en la recepción, incluido Maro, merece una gran gratitud por su amabilidades para nosotros. El hotel tenía una hermosa piscina con vistas al mar, y podíamos permanecer allí todo el día. La piscina más hermosa que he visto. Fuimos al bar de Conga en Molivos, un hermoso bar al mar. Fue sorprendente, y el mejor y más hermoso bar que he estado visitando. El hotel está muy bien situado, y el hotel está muy bien situado, y el hotel está muy bien situado. La comida del hotel era muy buena, y las bebidas también eran muy buenas, especialmente rum con cerra ❤️🍒 Nuestro cuarto se limpió tan bien, completamente perfecto, y la mujer que limpió nuestra habitación era tan amable para nosotros. El pueblo griego está muy caliente y nos encanta Grecia. "We just completed our first stay here and we could not have been more happy about the experience. We come to Kalloni regularly to visit family, and this is by far the best hotel in the area. The warm welcome and complete dedication to service reflected Greek culture but also the belief of the brothers who own the hotel. To top it off, the food was excellent! TIP: The beach at the hotel is excellent. Suggest avoiding the beach at Skala Kalonis as it is just average. If you want to do something different, drive to Vatera or Xambelia for other great beaches."

La caminata es de aproximadamente 20 minutos. El taxi se eleva a 7 euros o puede tomar el autobús gratuito. El ferrocarril también está disponible a petición sin cargo alguno, seguro en habitaciones sin cargo alguno. El hotel está muy bien, pero no es bueno para las personas con discapacidad de caminar debido a muchos pasos."

"Just returned home from a week in this very authentic greek hotel, which is situated a few minutes walk away from a selection of restaurants and shops and a pretty beach. The hotel is clean and the staff are marvellous. They work very hard to make your holiday enjoyable. The breakfast is tasty and plentiful. This is an ideal place for a break if you like a tranquil setting, lovely walks, quiet nights. Whilst I was there, I'd say the majority of the guests were mature/retired and I'm not sure it's suitable for children, unless you are willing to hire a car to venture further afield. Would also like to mention V and D, for their company. Sorry I missed you this morning!"

Aphrodite Beach Hotel

"A very nice hotel, clean and comfortable. Our room's air conditioning was a bit slow, largely because the cleaners insisted on leaving the windows/doors to our room open once they'd been in the morning so the day's heat was allowed to penetrate inside. Why couldn't they shut everything after, say, thirty minutes or whatever? Clearing this took more power than the air con units could really muster. A small matter really as we weren't uncomfortable. Breakfast was good enough, fresh eggs, bread, pastries etc. The taverna/cafe was very good, authentic Greek food...and I don't mean waterfront/beach tourist Greek Salad authentic. Very tasty, very basic, good value and plenty of it. Visited by many from outside the hotel, who also used the hotel's pool. Mid day the pool was complete mayhem. Children turned the pool into a warzone running laps, divebombing, lilo fights screaming and shouting. I witnessed hotel guests arguing with pool visitors (non-hotel guests) over sunbeds, and the visitors lying they did indeed stay at the hotel and were Jet2 clients - highly unlikely as they were clearly Dutch! I also noticed visitors removing a guest's shirt and towel from a bed so they could use it, even though visitors are only allowed the use of a small fraction of sunbeds. A really poor experience, and we didn't use the pool area for the rest of the holiday. I brought the matter up with reception who thanked us for mentioning it but stated non hotel guests only used the pool at weekends, but this was clearly not the case. We asked why there wasn't an occasional pool attendant and were told staff were too busy working in the restaurant as they get a lot of outside visitors! We had a hire car and were thankful we hadn't elected to walk into town at night. Steep uphill for the first half mile, and if a warm night then a bit of a hike. Lots of people getting taxis, quite wisely, but Lesvos is a fantastic island with some very lovely places to visit - particularly restaurants, so why not hire a car and do the island justice? To summarise - a good hotel experience, marred by carnage at the pool. If you want the whole island experience then the Aphrodite is perfect, if you want lazy times by the pool with a book while your child plays then check you have ear plugs and your child is a confident swimmer and isn't deterred by groups of other kids racing, bombing, diving, screaming etc etc "

"Spent two weeks at this lovely family run hotel, it's our 7th time here and never faults. A short walk into petra. Or 6 euro taxi, plenty of taverna's en route. Breakfast is a buffet style with Greek yogurt, fruit. Bread, meat and eggs. Also cakes. Food is served during the day up till 9pm. We had 3 meals in the hotel and we're nice. Rooms tend to have 3 single beds with two together with nice balcony and air conditioning at 5 euros per night. Fridge is free. No tea making facilities in the room. Pool is lovely and spotless with plenty of sun beds with cover from the heat if required. Will be back again. Thanks for the lovely Holiday"

The food deserves a special mention too: fresh, delicious, and full of local flavors that made every meal a treat. And the resort itself… just perfect. From the well-maintained grounds to the relaxing atmosphere, it felt like a little slice of paradise.
