"The staff friendly and helpful. Room was simple nice, clean, comfortable.. breakfast is delicious. View of the sea view room is breathtaking. You can enjoy the view at balcony Location is perfect. If you're lucky to find the parking place empty you can park your car in front of the hotel(maybe becausr it's for winter but it was empty for 2 days) "
Aeolian Village Beach Resort
"Location & First Impressions This was our first visit to Lesvos, and from the moment we landed it felt completely different to many of the more commercial Greek destinations. The airport is small and relaxed – when we arrived, ours was the only plane there. We booked through Jet2 and the transfer to the hotel took around two hours. Halfway through, we switched from the main coach to a shared minibus with another family. Although the distance isn't huge, the second half of the journey winds through mountain roads with tight switchback bends and speed limits of around 40mph, so the transfer takes longer than you might expect. Lesvos feels wonderfully traditional and, importantly, not yet spoiled by mass tourism. On arrival at Aeolian Village, I was initially a little underwhelmed by how remote it felt and the apparent lack of anything nearby. However, that quickly became one of the hotel's greatest strengths. It offers a genuine escape from everyday life and allows you to completely switch off. The Room & Hotel Our room consisted of a double bed and single bed with a rear-facing balcony. The view wasn't the prettiest, but it did overlook the mountains, which was peaceful and relaxing. The room was cleaned every day and the entire hotel was spotlessly maintained throughout our stay. One thing that stood out was how amazing the hotel smelled everywhere – a small detail, but one that really added to the overall experience. Food & Dining We stayed on a half-board basis and, quite simply, the food was outstanding. I've never experienced hotel food quite like it before. The quality, freshness and cooking of every dish is a real credit to the kitchen team. The meat dishes were consistently excellent and the profiteroles were absolutely incredible. Breakfast was also very good. The bacon and sausage were the standard type often found abroad, so I tended to skip those and instead enjoyed the freshly made omelettes, Greek yoghurt with honey and nuts, and the fresh bread with cherry jam – a new favourite of mine. The pool bar also serves food, and it's surprisingly good. The chicken nuggets were some of the best I've had, and portions are generous – around nine nuggets or eight fish fingers in a standard serving. Food prices were reasonable considering the quality and portion sizes. The drinks, however, were a little disappointing. Because there isn't much nearby, you're effectively a captive audience. There is a Happy Hour at the pool bar and a "Thirsty Thirty" half-price promotion at the beach bar, but I wasn't particularly impressed by the cocktails. My mojito, for example, tasted mostly of lime juice with a single shot of spirit and no brown sugar, despite normally costing around €10. Pool, Beach & Kids Club The beach is lovely and the sea is crystal clear. One of our favourite moments was simply standing still in the water and watching shoals of fish gather around our feet. The kids' club was okay, although very quiet during our stay, whic"
The Loriet
"Stayed at this hotel when Manchester airport cancelled flights home, really beautiful hotel with beautiful big ornate rooms with sea views , really great outdoor pool!! (seriously you cannot sink how hard you try , it just hold you up!!), and nice helpful staff, they also have apartments to the back . Breakfast was excellent , and an exceptional amount to choose from . Will definitely stop here again when in Lesvos"
Heliotrope Hotels
"Excelente ubicación a una distancia fácil de caminar de varios grandes restaurantes. Grande desayuno. Habitaciones limpias. La piscina tiene un cuidadoso guardaespaldas, por lo que no tienes que preocuparse por el afluencia de tus hijos. El bar es muy razonable y sirven buenas comidas y bebidas alrededor de la piscina."
Elena
"Elena is super friendly, her husband has a grocery store downstairs in Stratos, and she's cheerful and helpful. If you come by car, there's a parking lot nearby. Anaxos is a quiet and peaceful holiday village. All the details have been thought of so you can cook in your room, ideal for families."
Theofilos Paradise Boutique Hotel
"Hotel right in the center. For a boutique hotel this is not worth the money. The room was dated, small, dark and not maintained. The breakfast buffet was varied and there was plenty of choice. The service was friendly and polite, but I did not feel the Greek hospitality that I normally know."
Mythical Coast Wellness Retreat

Aegeon Hotel
"This was are first time in Lesvos. This hotel is authentically Greek, and family orientated. From when you arrive to when you leave it’s like you are a part of the family, wrapped up a big warm hug. The owners and all staff are brilliant, more than happy to answer questions and help if needed. The rooms are comfy and spotlessly clean, bedding and towels changed frequently. The shower in our room was too small to be honest, but plenty of hot water. Breakfast could be a little better, but you will find something to suit, Pool area and bar is good and they do a good selection of food for lunch, which is excellent. Watch out for Marco (one of the dogs), he loves to eat . Both dogs are very friendly. The pool toilets and showers really could do with some investment to update. However this doesn’t detract from the overall ambience of the hotel. It is only a 15 flat walk into the small village where you will find a selection of restaurants, our favourites where Caprice and Mezen. Overall we highly recommend this Hotel x"

Aeolian Gaea Hotel
Malemi Organic Hotel
"My wife and I stayed here for 2 weeks at the end of September/early October 2025, the tail end of the season on the island. I don't know if the owner/staff were tired and looking forward to the end of the season, but it seemed that anything requested was a chore. They seemed to be standoffish. The hotel is marketed as an "Organic" hotel, but we saw no evidence of that. The description on the Jet2 website is misleading, as it states "For a relaxing, authentic Greek experience, the Malemi Hotel is the one for you. With its own farm to the rear of the hotel and a vegetable garden with home grown produce used for the restaurants many delicacies, this family-run business prides itself on sustainability and welcomes all visitors including families, birdwatchers and eco-tourists." There's nothing at the hotel to back up this claim. Also the photos are at least 5 years out of date. We paid to stay half board, swayed by others reports of fantastic food. What a mistake that was. BE AWARE! Mealtimes are like a school canteen! The meals were served between set hours in a buffet style. If you didn't there in the first 30 mins, then you went hungry. Serving dishes were not replenished when empty. This was the same at breakfast. Also it was a lucky dip: none of the serving dishes were labelled with what was on offer. When questioned about this, the staff member replied "You want me to label everything in Greek?" There was no menu, you got what you were given and that's that. I did ask one day what was on the menu for that night and was told "something with lamb, rice, potatoes". Not very helpful. We were asked if we had any allergies on arrival, but I only saw one person being told what they couldn't eat over the 2 weeks we were there. My wife was violently ill one night after eating something that had Mussels in: it wasn't labelled. She's not allergic to seafood or shellfish, but Mussels upset her stomach. When I mentioned this afterwards, I was told I should have mentioned it at check in! We didn't bother after that, we ate out at one of the charming tavernas in the village. The pool bar, was open but not staffed: I had to search for a staff member to serve me at midday on a hot day. The main area of the hotel, the dining room and "lounge(!)" is dark and gloomy. The whole place is in need of a refresh, it's very tired and not welcoming. There's no music played in the hotel AT ALL, not even muzak in the background. Our room, a superior room, was fine. It was what you'd expect from a Greek 3* hotel. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom could be improved, but the water pressure in the shower was great. We had to ask for a kettle and also an extra pillow which we got after a bit of huffing and puffing from the staff. The village of Skala Kallonis is a 10-15 minute stroll along the waterfront, passing the amazing blue flag beach. There are about 7 restaurants in the village, a couple of tiny supermarkets and a great coffee/ice cream shop, in and ar"
Aphrodite Beach Hotel
"A very nice hotel, clean and comfortable. Our room's air conditioning was a bit slow, largely because the cleaners insisted on leaving the windows/doors to our room open once they'd been in the morning so the day's heat was allowed to penetrate inside. Why couldn't they shut everything after, say, thirty minutes or whatever? Clearing this took more power than the air con units could really muster. A small matter really as we weren't uncomfortable. Breakfast was good enough, fresh eggs, bread, pastries etc. The taverna/cafe was very good, authentic Greek food...and I don't mean waterfront/beach tourist Greek Salad authentic. Very tasty, very basic, good value and plenty of it. Visited by many from outside the hotel, who also used the hotel's pool. Mid day the pool was complete mayhem. Children turned the pool into a warzone running laps, divebombing, lilo fights screaming and shouting. I witnessed hotel guests arguing with pool visitors (non-hotel guests) over sunbeds, and the visitors lying they did indeed stay at the hotel and were Jet2 clients - highly unlikely as they were clearly Dutch! I also noticed visitors removing a guest's shirt and towel from a bed so they could use it, even though visitors are only allowed the use of a small fraction of sunbeds. A really poor experience, and we didn't use the pool area for the rest of the holiday. I brought the matter up with reception who thanked us for mentioning it but stated non hotel guests only used the pool at weekends, but this was clearly not the case. We asked why there wasn't an occasional pool attendant and were told staff were too busy working in the restaurant as they get a lot of outside visitors! We had a hire car and were thankful we hadn't elected to walk into town at night. Steep uphill for the first half mile, and if a warm night then a bit of a hike. Lots of people getting taxis, quite wisely, but Lesvos is a fantastic island with some very lovely places to visit - particularly restaurants, so why not hire a car and do the island justice? To summarise - a good hotel experience, marred by carnage at the pool. If you want the whole island experience then the Aphrodite is perfect, if you want lazy times by the pool with a book while your child plays then check you have ear plugs and your child is a confident swimmer and isn't deterred by groups of other kids racing, bombing, diving, screaming etc etc "
Eressian Hotel & Hammam Spa
"El hotel es un hotel elegante y elegante, con personal con pensamiento, amable y útil. El Hammam es sorprendente- completamente limpiando y relajando- como una meditación que te coloca en el «en el momento», conectandote a tu mente, cuerpo y espíritu. Me fui flotando- tranquilo y fundido. No puedo esperar a reservar otro tratamiento. Gracias. ¡Te veré muy pronto! Namaste. Clare x"
Sappho Hotel
"A family business on the sea in the south of Lesbos Island. Our room facing the land was small and gloomy. We could not get comfortable. Although it was written as open buffet breakfast, they made us choose from the menu on the grounds that there were no other customers in the morning. I think that the fact that they did not give us a room facing the sea (upgrade) despite the hotel being empty means that they do not understand business."
Clara Resort
"The amazing breakfast, incomparable view and the really kind stuff made our stay on of a kind! The best choice by far regarding the area of Petra, Anaxos and Molyvos."
Archontiko Petras 1821
"It was my first time in Petra for me and my friends. This is the cleanest and most organized place in the area. The pictures the business posts on the web page and the scenery you encounter are the same. Clean, and peaceful. The owner, Evgenia, is very helpful in every matter. We really enjoyed the breakfast. There are various types of handmade pastries. There are also very nice marmalades and jams. It is approximately 500 meters from the center of Petra. Thanks for everything Evgenia."
Panorama Hotel
"Lovely clean hotel, with friendly staff. Room very clean and spacious. Although please bear in mind if you’re in a studio family room there is a massive hill to walk up to get to your room and then possibly up to 37 steps. This was very difficult for me with my disability and unfortunately Jet2 didn’t fully describe this. The pool was lovely and big, plenty of sun beds no matter what time you get there. The pool area could do with a bit of music to liven the day up, as there is no entertainment at all. The breakfast was basic (Greek style) but I enjoyed it. They could maybe put some scrambled egg or sausages on just to make it slightly better. After eating a really cheap awful tasting burger and some fatty under cooked chicken Gyro we didn’t bother eating anything from the snack bar again as it wasn’t worth the price. You also have to pay an extra 5 euros a day for the aircon which I don’t agree with at all it should come as standard. All in all we had a lovely stay for 7 nights and if it wasn’t for the hill we would definitely return."
