Visited for 1 night mid week in the middle of February. On the room booking I added that we’d like to eat in the restaurant at about 6pm and that we’d require gluten free options at breakfast as my partner is coeliac. Check in was simple and as I was about to ask about dinner I was told we had a table at 6 booked for us. The room was big and has plenty of space, comfy bed and a decent tea and coffee selection is provided. Excellent dinner in the evening with plenty of gluten free options across the menu. Breakfast was where it stepped up even further. You get a standard buffet style continental breakfast with plenty of choice of pastries, cereals, fruit, meats and cheese. But on the table was an extensive selection of gluten free pastries and cereals all covered ready for us. We will be returning whenever we’re visiting the Town Hall

No hay manera de que nadie pueda dar el Glenfield Lodge 5* y estoy seguro de que los propietarios ni siquiera se esfuerzan por ello. La habitación tenía una TV básica, caldera y bañera. Now the OYO Blaby Hotel. In would have given a higher score but they don’t yet have a restaurant. However they are soon opening a South Indian restaurant which will be a real improvement. The front of the hotel needs some renovation as do the garden areas around the car park but work seems to be underway. The staff were very friendly and helpful with our early check in. We had room 31 which is a family room. It was very big with a TV lounge area and double bed, a big ensuite bathroom and a separate area with two single beds. It was a bargain as we paid £90 for three of us. Although it doesn’t currently have a restaurant it is next to a Chinese restaurant and very close to the Old Vicarage pub which serves food plus several good cafes in Blaby who serve breakfast. There is also a well equipped gym in the hotel included in the room price. An absolute bargain.

La habitación era muy tranquila y la cama estaba muy cómoda Mi tarjeta de clave no estaba en el salón ejecutivo que formaba parte del paquete con la habitación que había pagado. La habitación estaba limpia cada día, lo que pasó los dos primeros días y el tercero no lo hizo. La habitación no tenía cristales ni agua limpia, lo que me llevó a pasar de la recepción a la barra hasta que alguien estaba preparado para darme un vaso limpio y una botella de agua. La comida llegó antes de mi bebida y cuando llegó el vidrio tenía una gran crack todo el camino. El hotel tiene una ubicación muy tranquila, pero no es un hotel con una ubicación muy tranquila. Hablé con el comedor de la mañana que me fui a dar un feedback porque no quería simplemente salir sin decir nada (tenté hablar a la recepción sobre un par de cuestiones mientras estaba allí, pero no se me dio ayuda). La señora que conocí fue agradable y se disculpó y tomó mi correo electrónico y dijo que hablaría con el gerente y volvería a verme. UUsuario invitadoMost things about this apartment are great - easy access, right next to a supermarket, clean and spacious room. Nice communal area and kitchen with breakfast food and coffee machine. The person at the front desk was friendly and helpful. Wifi worked well. Was notified that housekeeping is every 4 days. Easy 10 minutes on the bus from Leicester station/city centre. I would recommend bringing noise-cancelling headphones if you are a light sleeper. It is next to a busy road and the walls are VERY thin. I was kept up on several nights by the person in the next room snoring, shouting over the phone at 6am, and listening to loud music throughout the night. Not the hotel’s fault and hopefully not a fixture, but given the other reviews, bring headphones!

We were travelling as a band, group of 6. Had travelled from Glasgow to Nottingham the previous day to play a gig, then onto Leicester and London. The owner had phoned the previous day to inform us that there was a problem with one of the rooms, seemed very polite and apologetic and would organise accommodation elsewhere for 2 of our group. We were fine with this. However, upon arrival we were informed by the guy managing the place currently (as the owner was out with some health related issues) that we all had rooms there. The rooms were open and keys were in the drawers. We went upstairs and only the 3 bed room was made up and another guest was still staying in one of the rooms and was out at work so we wouldn't get that room until later. Our group all hung out in the 3 bed waiting on the other room being made up. The ”manager” stood at the door of the room for over an hour talking nonsense and sharing details that no-one needed to hear instead of making up the other room. The worst possible scenario when you've just travelled 6+ hours and played a gig the previous night. The ”manager” took 2 of our party into the 2 bed room to get it made up (no reason for this, just wanted to talk more nonsense). The 2 bed room had obvious signs of water damage (most likely the room the owner had phoned the previous day about). Brown damp spot on the ceiling in the corner of the room, the wallpaper peeling off the wall and the room smelled awful. Previous guests things were still in the drawers. One of the beds in this room got made up in that time and he had to leave to get another sheet, never came back. Our group decided to just get out of the place for the time being. We arrived back later to pick up our gear to go soundcheck at the venue down the road and the rest of the rooms had been made up. We returned later that night and couldn't get in the front door so we phoned the number asking to call for access. This was the owners number I had spoke with the day before and he sounded genuinely surprised that we hadn't been given the access code. We got in and went upstairs before going to bed, on of the boys flipped his pillow and found what appeared to be blood stains on the pillowcase. We all slept on top of the duvets that night in our clothes because we didn't trust that anything was clean and got up early the next morning to leave as soon as possible to head for London. We had booked the breakfast in advance but we didn't want to chance that either knowing what state the rooms were in. Overall, an unpleasant and uncomfortable stay. Would not book again given this experience and anyone looking to I would hesitate until the owner manages to sort out the problems with staff and the condition of the place. It's a shame because I'm not sure the owner actually knows how the place is currently being run.

Los pisos, muros, interruptores de luz, puertas, techos en las paredes de baño y cuarto de baño fueron todos llenos y tenían marcas/sucio/tintas - el sofá era tan lleno y lo evitamos completamente. Nos quedamos aquí por una noche, pero no leí los comentarios antes de reservar...No volveré a cometer ese error y espero leyendo esto que te evitará el mismo dolor.
