"Small but nice house. Not cheap, but nothing is cheap in Lech.....My single room (with parquet flooring) was spacious enough, nice and clean bathroom. The bed has a good mattress, the duvet was too warm for me personally (but that's a matter of taste). The kettle in the room was very practical! The breakfast buffet is great! Very good selection of different things! The homemade muesli is a highlight!! I will definitely come back!"

"We had an absolutely amazing stay at Hotel Rote Wand in April! My girlfriend and I spent three nights there, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. One of the highlights was definitely the food experience. The Chef’s Table was outstanding – creative, refined, and truly memorable. On top of that, the “Friends and Fools” dinner was such a fun and unique experience, with a great atmosphere and incredible dishes. We also went skiing, and even in spring the ski-in/ski-out setup worked surprisingly well. On the way back, we only had to walk about two minutes due to limited snow – totally fine and still very convenient. The spa area was another big highlight. We loved the pools and especially the sauna program, including an amazing sauna show that we didn’t expect at this level. What really makes this hotel special, though, is the overall vibe. It’s a family-run place with so much personality, combining a super cool, modern design with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our stay. All in all, a perfect mix of luxury, fun, and authenticity. We’ll definitely be back at Rote Wand!"

"Fantastic hotel and wonderful hosts. We stayed for 1 week and had the best time. Claudia made us feel welcome, even before we arrived. Great communication and very accommodating - our late arrival didn't cause any issues. The rooms are big, nice bathrooms, the whole hotel is decorated in traditional and very tasteful style. Generous breakfast buffet and beautiful sauna facilities. We've already booked again for next year. Highly recommend!"

It took one hour to get our food and we got in different times so most of us had to eat alone. Didn’t get our drinks to our food. "The hospitality and kindness of the staff are superb. As a solo traveler you can feel alone from time to time - here I felt at home. My journey didn't start well because of a mistake in the booking(a mistake from my side), so I didn't get access to a room which met the demands I had. But the staff and the way they met their guests soon made me forget about it, and I just enjoyed hanging in the public areas and working from there If there is room for me next time I am in Lech, then I without a doubt want to stay here again."

"After we spent a wonderful week in Chalet Lech I in summer 2023, we were allowed to spend a week in the Grand Chalet in January 2025. The greeting by Sabine was very warm and we immediately felt well. The whole week was a dream! Breakfast is sensational. The choice and quality of food is excellent. Since we were in the Lech Lodge with five adults, two young children and dogs, we took the catering offer of Sabine and Slobi, except for one evening. The choice of different foods is more than enough and quality was excellent every time. The Grand Chalet was sufficient space and it is very tastyly furnished. The combination of wood, stone and glass is wonderful and we have felt very well. The location of Lech Lodge is also perfect for walking and in a few minutes you reach the village. The care by Sabine and Slobi was simply perfect. Thank you, dear family Moosbrugger, Sabine, Slobi and team. We didn't miss anything and that's why we booked again a week in March. We are happy! F&M Iten and family"

"I do about 300 nights a year at Bonvoy properties and was blown away by my experience at this charming Alpine hotel. The location itself is like being in a postcard. The hotel is very clean and modern and offers all the luxury amenities you could ever want (multiple styles of saunas, pools, and a complete gym). The best part about the hotel is the fact that every meal comes with the stay. This isn’t normal hotel food, however. All meals are made with incredibly fresh local ingredients in their Michelin rated restaurant. Dinner is 5 courses and offers 4 meal types (meaning vegetarian and vegan friendly, too). Don’t worry, even if you miss the great lunch, they have afternoon cake time with several cake selections. The hotel is also a ten minute hike away from a beautiful 50 foot waterfall and like a 5 minute walk from a ski lift (with enclosed gondola cars). The chair lift system connects you to most of the entire area and is almost like a mountain metro. Finally, and most importantly, customer service and the people working at the hotel make the stay exceptional. We were given world class service by Dominic. He greeted us and got us checked in when we arrived (and also called us before we arrived to make sure we had dinner waiting for us as we arrived late in the evening). He gave great advice on things to do and was a genuinely kind and caring person. I have never been made to feel more welcomed or appreciated in all my stays. The whole staff was great and I cannot recommend this hotel enough. You won’t be disappointed. Thank you, Dominic and team for such a memorable stay!"

"We ordered a dish of the day and a Flaker Goulash. The meal of the day the staff could not name or find on google translate. So I to a chance - it was an unusual collection of meat and vegetable diced and fried. It was a greasy mess with burnt hard peas, meat that often was just gristle. I was very hungry but it was too horrible to finish. It cost 29 Euros. I have never ever turned food away. The Goulash consisted of half a sausage a fried egg and three gravity cube pieces of beef with a thick brown sauce and a plate full of noodles this was 30 Euros, really felt very ripped off."

"We stayed at this hotel for an unforgettable ski week. As soon as we arrived we were welcomed by a super friendly staff that made us feel at home and this was usual every time we met them in the lobby. Rooms are very spacious with great views of the mountains. There is a T-bar lift just 20 mts from the hotel which is a plus. The hotel is located aprox 700 mts from Lech main street but walking has never been a pain (although you have to consider taking a taxi if you arrive at Lech in public transport). Breaksfast is really outstanding with many options both sweet and salad. There is a relax area for apres ski with both a sauna and steam bath but no jacuzzi. My only suggestion would be to offer a kettle with tea/coffee options in the room, but for the rest I would definetivley chose Hinterwies again."
