El hotel me ha ofrecido una habitación en el sexto piso con una fantástica vista de la ciudad de Kolkata. El personal del frente era muy útil y amable, especialmente el caballero con gafas en el contable de entrada, que siempre respondió a mis solicitudes y se dirigió a cualquier reclamación rápidamente. Incluso nos permitieron una salida tardía porque nuestro vuelo fue retrasado, que realmente aprecié. La habitación era espaciosa, limpia y bien mantenida. El personal de seguridad en la entrada principal también estaba muy cortés y siempre listo para ayudar si proporcionaba pequeño cambio para los conductores de entrega o Uber pagos. Gracias especialmente a Raghunath, uno de los equipos de seguridad, que nos ayudó a cargar más de 60 kilos de equipaje en nuestro Uber cuando nos dirigíamos al aeropuerto. En general, mi experiencia fue excepcional. La alegría, el profesionalismo y la atención del personal se destacaron.

Excellent services although felt that some mosquitoes were there. Otherwise it was a good stay. Breakfast was awesome and staff is super friendly and helpful. All together highly recommended to stay.

Elegant and luxurious hotel located in a beautifully renovated palace of royal family of Kolkata. Our room was very spacious, beautifully furnished with old, wooden furniture. The huge bathroom and all floors are made of marble. The hotel is located in multiple buildings of the palace complex. Delicious breakfast can be eaten outside in shaded patio or inside in air conditioned restaurant. Every evening there is a live show of folk dance performers. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at.

*Review: One-Night Stay at Kenilworth Hotel, Kolkata* I recently stayed for one night at the Kenilworth Hotel in Kolkata and would rate my overall experience as a 6 out of 10. The room provided was decent—clean, well-organized, and equipped with the expected amenities for a four-star property. The bed was comfortable, and the room had adequate lighting and storage space. The bathroom was functional and clean, although not particularly luxurious. In terms of comfort and upkeep, the room met my expectations. One feature I particularly appreciated was the hotel’s gym facility. It was clean, well-maintained, and had a decent range of equipment for a quick workout. For a short stay, it was more than sufficient and a welcome amenity for anyone looking to stay active while traveling. However, one significant downside was the dining experience. The biggest letdown was the limited food choices, especially in the set dinner menu. While the staff were polite and the service was timely, the menu lacked variety and felt quite restrictive. For a property of this category, I had expected a broader range of options, including some regional or seasonal specials. The lack of flexibility and limited appeal of the dinner options certainly took away from an otherwise comfortable stay. It might not be a dealbreaker for everyone, but for those who enjoy exploring a hotel’s culinary offerings, this can be a sore point. The check-in and check-out processes were efficient, and the staff at the front desk were courteous and helpful. There was a general air of professionalism throughout the hotel staff, which contributed positively to the experience. In conclusion, Kenilworth Hotel offers a reliable and comfortable stay with the added benefit of a good location and useful amenities like the gym. Very friendly staff and good location. Although 3 stars is a bit high. It is rather 2,5 stars. Breakfast was a good start of the day, continental and Indian. Room was small and old, ac noisy. But who cares; you don’t go to Kolkata to stay in your room. On the roof was a terrace where you can eat and drink. All in all great stay. Will definitely come back next time

We stayed at The Peerless Inn, Kolkata for two nights. The overall experience was pleasant. The room and bathroom were excellent—clean, spacious, and comfortable. A special thanks to Ms. Neha at the front desk, who was incredibly helpful right from check-in and arranged our room very quickly. We are especially grateful to Mr. Somnath, his hospitality truly stood out. “Thank you” doesn’t feel enough to express our appreciation for his kindness and service. We also had the chance to try the Aaheli restaurant for authentic Bengali cuisine. Every dish was absolutely delicious. The restaurant manager, Mr. Sanjib, was very warm and made us feel truly welcome. The breakfast had a good variety and the food was delicious. However, the staff at the breakfast restaurant were not very polite and lacked a welcoming attitude or smiles, which slightly affected the morning experience. Overall, our stay was wonderful, except for the breakfast restaurant staff’s attitude. We would definitely recommend Peerless Inn for its great location, comfortable rooms, and exceptional hospitality from key members of the team.

Good location for tourist spots but quite noisy if you don't like the constant noise of beeping horns from the nearby road (not sure if it is even possible to escape this in India). It did get better between say 10.30pm and 8am). The train (immediately outside the hotel entrance) screeches by but not frequently, boat engines can be heard in the distance but it's on a river 😅. It was a bit of a party boat on some nights (loud and late disco noise if there is an event). The noise stopped at around 9pm one night but went on much later on another night; if your room is close to the bar it may be an issue was wasn't too bad for me as i use ear plugs. The most irritating noise, believe it or not, is people shouting or having loud conversations in the corridors. The room is 3* and there is no safe for your passport, cash, cards etc. The pillows, bed covers and floors were't cleaned particularly well. I had to help myself to consumables from the corridor as they weren't topped up by cleaners. Anyway, a very brief stay could be a good experience, one night maybe.I am pleased to have had the experience and despite the shortfalls would probably recommend it as a one off unique experience, for one or two nights. The breakfast was very good with lovely river views and a chill atmosphere.

Close to the airport. Friendly and helpful staffs. Clean and hygienic ambience. Food is superb. Courteous doorman and a very coordinated and efficient team makes this hotel stand out. Will recommend.

Hotel is nearby birla school, mint o park. Park street and Arselan biryani ( park circus) is walkable distance. Theater road join birla platarium. Rate is quite high on the basis of service. Breakfast is not good. Charging for drinking water. Restaurant was full of hukka lover in the evening. Smoke is everywhere in restaurant.
