非常棒的酒店哦：老闆老闆娘是華人，這次住的是閣樓，房間挺大的，還有冰箱洗衣機、微波爐電磁灶；早餐除了可以吃自助之外，還可以讓老闆娘定製，除英式早餐以外還可以喝粥；超大免費停車場，對自駕的遊客極友好；酒店位置也很不錯，步行去老城景點也就10+分鐘。。。唯一美中不足的就是沒有電梯，英式樓梯也比較窄，自己搬大箱子就有點麻煩了，好在老闆會及時伸出援手。。。另外，停車場在酒店後面，導航到酒店後要從左邊小路左轉再左進到院子，院門很窄，考驗車技的時候到了，進出一把方向不行的話就再多打兩把，哈哈哈。。。

We had the most gorgeous stay at No.1 Guest House - if there wasn’t so much to see and do in York we would have happily just stayed in and enjoyed the hotel all weekend. The staff were amazing, especially Ellie, who made us feel so welcome and couldn’t do enough for us. We loved just sitting in the bar area with a cocktail (the rosy margarita was amazing) and looking at all the art and the cute steam train. The hotel is sooo cosy and perfect for this time of year. We will definitely be back!

Perfect location for a sightseeing trip to York, with car parking. The hotel was gorgeous, beautiful room (we had blenheim suite), huge copper bath in the bedroom (bring your own bubble bath!), super comfy bed, beautifully decorated room. Reception staff lovely and very knowledgeable of local area. Lovely bar too with friendly staff, a range of boardgames available which was fun. Breakfast room had a great Churchill theme ( brilliant top/bowler hat lighting). Would definitely recommend. Thank you for a really lovely stay.

The Galtres... A perfect place to stay in York. Location is great, central, surrounded by pubs, shops, bars, restaurant, a few steps from York Minster, couple of minutes walk to the Shambles, 13 minute walk from the train station. Our room was spotless, checking in was easy, arrived 3 hours early, but room was ready so accessed that straight away. Little bit quirky, I guess no two rooms the same, old fireplace, massive mirrors and a Wimbledon wicker basket at decor. Breakfast was amazing, gorgeous food, great selection and waiting staff always happy to help. Didn't eat there at other times, but the restaurant always looked busy inside and out. Two minor faults, could have squoze a small dressing table/desk into the room, and be prepared for a small amount of noise in the morning with delivery vehicles around, not a big problem though. I would definitely visit again, and recommend anyone visiting York to look at this place as somewhere really nice to stay.

由於酒店身處哥爾夫球場之中，四周環境十分清幽、寧靜、舒適，景色亦十分美。只是它距離市區較遙遠，距離約克舊城區，有接近30分鐘車程，若不是自駕遊，就不太適合選這裏作為住宿地點，但若有自駕車，這是非常不錯的選擇，因為泊車是免費的。 酒店之中有兩家餐廳食物不錯，但價格非常高，且份量不多，是典型的fine dining，若然大家不想花費太多在食方面，在進入酒店前，最好在城區先進餐。

Great stay and got a lovely upgrade. Hotel is about 15 mins walk from centre but all very easy and manageable. Pool is very busy and you need to book.

¡Tuve una estancia maravillosa en este hotel! Las habitaciones eran espaciosas, limpias y con un diseño elegante para mayor comodidad. El personal fue amable y atento, lo que hizo que la experiencia fuera aún mejor. Un lugar perfecto para una estancia relajante y agradable. ¡Muy recomendable!

El check-in online no funcionaba debido a problemas con el nuevo sistema, pero estuvo bien. Personal muy amable. Recepción 24 horas, menú, etc. Los precios del desayuno necesitan una actualización, ya que son £8 y no £6. Desayuno ligero, con bollería, tostadas, cereales y café. El comedor es amplio y agradable. Hay muchas zonas comunes para sentarse y relajarse, y el bar es un lugar ideal para reunirse y charlar. Subir las escaleras fue un reto después de un largo día, pero las habitaciones son cómodas. Las cortinas alrededor de las camas ofrecen buena privacidad. La iglesia de la Trinidad, al otro lado de la calle, tiene mucha historia y merece la pena visitarla. El restaurante chino Regency es un lugar estupendo para comer a un corto paseo. Cerca de las murallas, la estación, la ciudad, los puentes, etc., ideal para hacer turismo. En una zona tranquila de la ciudad. Me encantó mi estancia. Me alojaría aquí de nuevo. Excelente relación calidad-precio.

Hotel limpio con ascensor, buena ubicación y excelente servicio.

I've stayed at this hotel before and I will definitely be staying again. The location is ideal for me with easy access to the city centre either by walking, bus, or taxi. The rooms have always been very clean and a good size too. The buffet style breakfast is always superb and leisure facilities give you a chance to unwind in the pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room. The staff have always been pleasant, friendly, and polite. 5 stars from me!
