Convenient location in the small town of Yuli. Parking available at the hostel and it is clean and modern. There’s not much to do in the town now that the Yufu bike path is currently closed for renovation, but the hostel is very nice and affordable.

El personal de la cabaña es amable, el cuarto es grande, la piscina privada interior de sopa de sopa, la cantidad de agua es suficiente, la calidad de la agua es buena. UUsuario invitadoOne of the better (if not the best) hotel chains I’ve stayed at in Taiwan. I’ve visited Taiwan about 10 times and stayed here for 2 nights, and overall I was very satisfied with the experience.
They provide free bicycles (3 hours limit), which is useful for getting around Hualien. Breakfast has a good spread, and there are complimentary ice cream and drinks available in the lobby around the clock. We didn’t realise they also offer late-night supper from 7pm to 9pm, which was honestly as good as a proper dinner buffet, with a good mix of Western and Chinese dishes and even live entertainment.
The room was spacious and well maintained, with no hygiene concerns. Shower water pressure was good. Noise levels were generally fine, though louder sounds like furniture movement could occasionally be heard.
The hotel is conveniently located near a convenience store, restaurants, KTV, and a cinema, and it’s about a 10-minute walk from the station. You can also cycle to the night market within 15 minutes, making it super easy to get around the main area without getting a taxi.
Overall, a very good stay and very good value for money. While a gym would be nice, I would definitely consider staying at other branches on future trips.

UUsuario invitadoInstalaciones: Las instalaciones son estándar, pero muy limpias. En nuestro primer check-in, el techo del ascensor parecía un poco dañado, quizás debido a defectos de diseño o a la caída de una tela.
Limpieza: Estándar para un hotel económico, bastante limpia. Sin embargo, había un olor a humedad en el ascensor cuando llegamos, posiblemente debido a la humedad.
Entorno: El ambiente del hotel era en general bueno, con ventanas, lo cual nos dejó muy satisfechos. Lo más importante es que, después de sufrir un pequeño terremoto el día anterior, estábamos bastante nerviosos al llegar a Hualien, ¡pero nuestra habitación tenía un dispositivo de escape de emergencia! 😂 Esto mejoró enormemente nuestra sensación de seguridad…
Servicio: El personal del hotel fue muy amable y nos explicó con paciencia todas las precauciones. Esta es una práctica habitual en todo Taiwán, y el personal fue excelente, cómodo y muy amable.
Ubicación: La ubicación del hotel es increíblemente conveniente. Está justo al lado de la estación de tren, a solo cinco minutos a pie. En cuanto a las opciones para comer, la mayoría son restaurantes pequeños; los más grandes pueden requerir una caminata más larga. Con nuestro bebé, estuvimos un rato buscando sitio y acabamos volviendo a la estación de tren a comer. Hay algunos pequeños inconvenientes.
Eso es todo por ahora. En general, está bastante bien. Lo más atractivo es la comodidad y la limpieza, y prácticamente cumple con todas esas necesidades.
Por cierto, por este precio, la relación calidad-precio es excelente, e incluso incluyen el desayuno, que incluye costillas de cerdo al vapor... ¡realmente recomendable!

UUsuario invitadoUpdates: I had a great stay at Fullon Hotel Hualien. The room was spacious, comfortable, and has awesome view of the harbor. The location is ideal for me—close to the coast, at the start of the bike trail, and in a peaceful area. I loved being able to borrow a bike from the hotel, making it easy to explore the bike-friendly town.
The staff was friendly and attentive. Even those who didn’t speak English used Google Translate to communicate, which I appreciated. The only downside was difficulty reaching the hotel before my arrival to confirm the station pick-up, which wasn’t sorted out and confirmed until the day before I arrived.
Overall, a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend this hotel. Most likely will stay here again next time I'm in Hualien. Hopefully, I can reach them easier next time.

2025/01/13: Impossible to contact as a foreign visitor. I tried to send messages to the hotel via both email and LINE that were listed on their website since I don't live in TW. I tried to arrange for their pick up service from Hualien Station which is included with my stay. I have sent my inquiry for the details. I finally managed to get messages back one time via LINE after a day with a website that's not in English and a picture showing only a phone number for booking. At least the hotel didn't ask me to do international phone call and finally said I can request the booking with them via the LINE channel. So I sent the booking request with details. That was 3 days ago. And I have not received any message back or heard a peep from them. So I assume the service is still not booked.
Not that the free ride matters since I should be able to get a cab easily, but the service, especially what's promise and the helpfulness of the staff, is quite underwhelming and on the side of not hospitable.
For the same trip, I also had to reach out to Tango Hotel Taipei. They were very helpful with my inquiry and very fast.
Hopefully the stay is nice. I'll come back to update my review then.

Se utiliza el kiosk, que es interesante, sin embargo todavía necesita ir a la recepción para el recibo de desayuno. TTobias TEn mi reciente viaje a Hualien, tuve la oportunidad única de permanecer en el Peace Prison Cafe Inn Hostel, y realmente superó mis expectativas. Las habitaciones fueron diseñadas para parecer celdas de prisión, que añadieron un elemento intriguante y inmersivo a mi estancia.
Una cosa que me pareció la ausencia de un escritorio tradicional de recepción, en lugar de hacerlo, para obtener entrada, todos los huéspedes necesitan llamar el número de contacto proporcionado, que añade un toque de misterio a la experiencia. La mujer que trabajaba allí fue extraordinariamente útil y paciente, incluso tomando el tiempo para explicar cómo utilizar las instalaciones en chino.
Como viajero solo, no podía ayudar, pero apreciar las vibraciones de la azotea que el lugar exudó, especialmente porque soy un fan del terror. No es frecuente que usted cruce un albergue que ofrece un ambiente tan único y emocionante.

@@travel_with_the_sunIt's clean, it's close to the train station, where you can rent a scooter to explore Taroko National Park, also have a gas station next door to refill your scooter and you are next to the main road to go to the National Park. There is enough stuff to cook yourself something. Communication with the landlord on self check-in went well and I could check-in earlier because my bed was free, actually I was the only guest in the dorm on my first of two nights.
It was calm and the entire hostel & bathroom was very clean. I liked, that you can buy razors, one-way towels, toothbrush kit for a small fee, even if I didn't need it.
The only downside, and that's why I gave it -3 stars in amenity was, that the mattress was so hard, it felt like sleeping on the floor. The room had a bit of strange moisture smell, but I could get used to it quickly. If there would be a thicker, less hard mattress, that place would get total points.
On the back door / balcony you have a nice view of the mountains. (The picture attached is taken from the road, but if you crop the lower half, it's what you see)
