We had an amazing stay at Skyblue Tekapo! The room was very spacious, clean, and complete with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The location is perfect — just a few minutes away from the iconic Church of the Good Shepherd and very close to dining places, groceries, and petrol, which made everything super convenient. WHAT YOU SEE IN THE ADS IS EXACTLY WHAT YOU GONNA HAVE WHEN YOU BOOK YOUR STAY. It truly felt like a home away from home, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Lake Tekapo. Highly recommended to anyone visiting the area!

It’s cleaned, spacious and conveniently located. We can walk to the lake. It has an amazing view too.

The check in was simple and easy, location was very convenient to Lake Tekapo with a nice view, and room was big enough for a family of 3, with kitchen and bathroom facilities. Overall, worth it to stay here!

Found this place at the very last minute, and it exceeded our expectations! My family and I loved this place - good location (walking distance to Lake Tekapo etc.), super friendly staff, sparkly clean units (we stayed at both Unit 4 & 5 - 4 nights stay in total!) and all stated amenities were provided as well! The only thing to be improved was probably the wifi connection at Unit 5 (slightly weak as compared to Unit 4) and the master room door at unit 5 had loud squeaking sounds when you open/close the door. Other than that, it was such a lovely stay at Skyblue Tekapo! I would definitely come back here to stay if I ever go to Lake Tekapo again. Thank you for having us Wince! Overall a great stay, the house was clean and  in a great location. Also great for families.

We had a great stay! The accommodation is in a good location, very convenient for exploring the area. Our unit (#5) was spotless and well-maintained, making it a very comfortable stay. One thing we appreciated was how considerate other guests were—those using the laundry facilities followed the rules and didn’t create any noise in the evening. It was peaceful and relaxing throughout our stay. Highly recommend this place, and we’d definitely stay here again!

Skyblue Tekapo was very accessible from Lake Tekapo, about a 10 minute walk from the main area. I asked if early check-in was possible and they were very flexible.

Great place loved everything about it

Absolutely, a wonderful place during the trip in Tekapo, which has spacious room and built-in kitchen that is easy to cook for yourself because the nearest fourth-quarter market is just 10 minutes walk. It’s a self-service hotel and very easy to check in after you get your password from your e-mail to access in your ordered separate house. You can just walk away and enjoy the stunning view and food just alongside the small street.

Awesome experience! Spacious living room and bathroom, large television and complete kitchen utensil. Convenient location, close to The Church Of The Good Shepherd. Highly recommended!

Really good! Pricey but to be expected given location. Was superb but was missing a oven and iron!!!

The unit was decent enough and in an obviously amazing location. My main complaints are: comforters and pillows have stains all over them, no conditioner in the shower, some ones hair was stuck to the wall in the shower, it was obvious whatever cleaning was done was only surface level, but the worst part of the unit was the pull out couch sleeper. The couch was disgustingly dirty with no sheets or pillows available in closets. The mattress for the sleeper was the worst I’ve ever felt. I’ve had sleeper sofas/mattresses before but this one was the worst. For the money spent it was very disappointing to have my children sleep on this. I almost just wanted to put them on the floor. I was glad we were there for only one night. Will pass on this unit next time.
