Very pleased with the hotel room arranged for me on 40th floor with a panoramic mountain view. A great experience to see both sunset and sunrise in Kunming.
Location wise, the hotel venue is more convenient for travellers going to or coming from XiShuangBanNa, and intend to do a stopover (for a night) before proceeding to other scenic locations such as DaLi or LiJiang.
During checkout, the friendly hotel staff also gave me a gift package. So sweet!

Este edificio enorme tiene sólo 3 ascensores y siempre necesitamos tiempo extra para bajar o subir (como 5-10 min.). Porque por eso llegamos a las 8:02 a la recepción y vimos que el minivan se dejó sin nosotros y necesitamos llamar un taxi por nuestros costos.

A relatively new hotel. Perfect for a overnight stay for people rushing to the high speed the next morning. Room was big and comfortable.
We booked for the non smoking level but there is an ashtray on the living room table and u can smell cigarette smoke along corridor. Really wished this country makes more effort in advocating for non smoking despite signs beinf put up.
We managed to search for a little night market, Shilin night market about 10 mins taxi ride away from the hotel. Maybe hotel can provide more information about places around for tourists.
It is also a short walking distance to the metro which is linked to high speed as well.
Managed to book the free pick up from high speed to hotel however the next day's hotel to high speed is already fully booked. We also didn't managed to have breakfast due to timing of our high speed.

We booked a 60 sq meter room that was very spacious but my Goodness, such a lack of cleaning 🤮 We wouldn't recommend this hotel but the staff at the reception, were just great especially a young girl wearing prescription glasses, she was terrific with us and helped us out greatly for like an hour without complaining but just genuinely trying to solve our problem!!

UUsuario invitadoExcellent hotel. Located inside the airport. I have early flight to catch so the location is perfect for us so we can sleep abit later and not need to rush to airport since we are already in the airport. The receipt is extremely customer oriented, there are two reception and located at both end and she assign the rooms near to her side so we don't need to walk to the other end. As we are taking early flight and could not take breakfast, she is so nice to pack some milk and pastries for us.
The room are in good size, clean, and high tech using voice control! If I go back kunming again I will definitely stay here.

KKevan KeeganUna ubicación extraña al principio, caminando 15 minutos desde el metro directo al aeropuerto, dentro de un centro comercial antiguo. Una vez dentro, el vestíbulo es un oasis de calma y serenidad sofisticada con instalaciones modernas.
Desde la entrada principal hay solo veinte pasos hasta una hermosa plaza en el centro de Kunming y diez minutos hasta los animados patios de comidas y algunos excelentes restaurantes de especialidades, bares y tiendas nocturnas. Una caminata de media hora hasta el Lago Verde y el principal templo budista zen lo convierte en un excelente lugar para explorar Kunming.
La habitación era compacta pero elegante y con una gran ducha y baño privado, además de un televisor fabuloso con todas las opciones de películas y televisión. El desayuno se elige el día anterior y hay cinco combinaciones, todas bellamente presentadas personalmente a cualquier hora que desciendas.
Más que nada, el personal del hotel es maravilloso: a pesar de las barreras del idioma, hicieron todo lo posible para satisfacer mis necesidades de una manera muy educada pero eficiente, incluso mostrando cómo funcionaba el televisor y cambiando el control remoto mientras estaba fuera, ya que la batería estaba claramente baja. .
Recomiendo totalmente este hotel que ofrece una excelente relación calidad-precio.

UUsuario invitadoWe are Americans from Hong Kong and traveled to Kunming for our Easter holiday. The positives of this hotel: 1. it was beautiful. The design and furnishings were very well done and the room itself was exceptionally clean. 2. The owners were so kind. We arrived way after the tea time hour, but they still provided our family with cappuccinos and fresh fruit, free of charge. Both were delicious and our children were so excited about the gourmet coffee art. 3. The mattress in the main bed area was very comfortable. Not a typical “hard” mattress like many hotels in China. Another bonus: it was actually a KING size, which we rarely see outside the US! 4. The breakfast was Chinese style and the rice noodles were delicious! The hotel also had a beautiful courtyard area to eat outside. A few items to be aware of: 1. although the hotel was in a neighborhood near the lake, the neighborhood itself was a bit strange. We could tell it was meant to be a beautiful, well-to-do neighborhood of modern villas, but more than half the neighborhood was unused and/or under construction so it wasn’t as lively feeling in the evening because it was so dark and desolate seeming. It was beautiful in the daylight though! 2. This is not a big hotel chain, just an independent boutique style hotel operating in one of these villas. 3. There are no optimal eating spots near the hotel. You have to take a 20-30 minute Didi (taxi) ride to the nearest area with a lot of restaurants. However, if you like street food, there is a street food carnival area about 10 minutes away via walking (walk north along boardwalk bordering the lake.)
Overall, because of the kindness of the owners, the cleanliness and modernity, delicious breakfast, and comfortable mattress, we would definitely choose this hotel again for a one-night stopover.

El jefe vio que éramos personas mayores y nos arregló especialmente una habitación muy tranquila. Cuando salimos a jugar, nos envió especialmente a la estación de metro. Nos conmovió mucho y seguiremos quedándonos la próxima vez.

SSietseFine stay for 2 nights when arriving in Kunming. Location is nice, although hard to find the exact location. Be well prepared and have the hotel phone number ready. Good restaurants and coffee shops nearby and walking distance to the park. Smoking is allowed in the rooms which is the downside, otherwise everything fine.
