Valoraciones de InterContinental Kuala Lumpur

Realicé la reserva pasadas las dos de la mañana y el personal de recepción no sonrió ni una sola vez durante todo el proceso de check-in. Había elegido una habitación con cama doble y me dijeron que solo quedaba una con dos camas individuales. Tardamos más de dos horas en completar el check-in, lo que fue muy frustrante. El servicio de atención al cliente de Ctrip respondió rápidamente y me ofreció una compensación, pero la verdad es que la experiencia de entrada fue muy mala.

La estancia fue muy satisfactoria. Estuvimos discutiendo dónde alojarnos durante nuestro viaje y terminamos eligiendo Intercon porque nos encantan las comodidades de Byredo.🥹

Me alojé aquí con un amigo para un concierto de ídolos. Me preocupaba si podría disfrutar de la comida malaya que estaba a punto de probar, así que reservé una habitación con acceso al salón. Nos alojamos por unos 15.000 yenes por persona y noche. La experiencia fue extremadamente cómoda desde el check-in hasta el check-out, y pudimos disfrutar de deliciosas bebidas y aperitivos en el salón del club a cualquier hora. Especialmente durante la hora del cóctel, nuestras copas de vino se llenaron hasta el borde con vino espumoso, creando una experiencia verdaderamente lujosa. Los aperitivos también estaban deliciosos, y disfrutamos mucho de nuestra estancia con nuestro amigo. La cama king de nuestra habitación era más que cómoda para dos personas. ¡Los artículos de baño eran de la famosa marca de perfumes Byredo! Era tan cómodo que me pregunté si una estancia tan lujosa sería posible. ¡Sin duda volvería pronto! El personal era mayoritariamente joven, pero todos fueron amables y atentos, ¡así que quedé muy satisfecho!

El servicio fue excelente. Nos recibieron con pasteles y frutas deliciosos a precios increíbles y una decoración preciosa. Me encantó el desayuno, con una gran variedad de opciones. El vestíbulo es amplio y lujoso.

Instalaciones: Aunque el hotel es antiguo, las instalaciones siguen siendo bastante buenas; los inodoros con cisterna semiautomática y la ropa de cama son excelentes. Limpieza: Servicio de limpieza diario, 4 botellas de agua potable y reposición diaria de artículos de aseo. Entorno: Convenientemente ubicado cerca del Hotel Park Williams. Beneficios del Club: Selección diaria de aperitivos y bebidas. Desayuno: Desayuno de negocios con especialidades malasias locales. Servicio: El personal del hotel es, en general, muy profesional y ofrece servicios de impresión y escaneo gratuitos.

Viajé con mis padres. La ubicación era bastante conveniente, con autobuses lanzadera a lugares turísticos como el Centro Comercial Kuala Lumpur y Pavilions. La recepción y el personal fueron amables, y el vestíbulo del hotel, de estilo clásico, tenía un interior sorprendentemente lujoso. Sin embargo, hubo dos cosas que me impidieron volver a alojarme allí: 1. Reservé y pagué para tres personas, pero no preparé suficientes provisiones para tres. Tuve que llamar a recepción para organizarlas y, por supuesto, tuve que dar propina cada vez (opcional). 2. Las instalaciones de las habitaciones del hotel estaban muy anticuadas. It was my first time staying at InterContinental Kuala Lumpur. I have stayed at other InterContinental hotels in different countries, and unfortunately this was a disappointing experience. When I arrived, I was asked to provide a deposit with a credit card. I do not have a credit card, and since I had already paid for my stay in full in advance, this situation made me feel very stressed. I understand that deposits are common, but the way it was handled caused unnecessary anxiety. I tried to pay the deposit in cash, but the ATM inside the hotel refused all of my cards, which made me even more nervous. In the end, the staff offered another option, but the whole process felt uncomfortable and poorly explained. I am also an IHG member, and no one asked about my membership during check in. I had to mention my IHG number myself, and it did not seem to make any difference in the service or recognition. When I entered the room, I noticed that the toilet was quite old and made noise throughout my stay. The cleanliness of the bathtub was also disappointing and did not meet the standard I expect from this brand. During breakfast, which was very good in terms of food quality, I felt overwhelmed by how often the staff tried to engage in conversation and ask me to complete surveys about the service. One day, I was asked twice. While I appreciate attentiveness, it felt excessive and uncomfortable. Additionally, one staff member made a personal comment about my appearance, saying I was “so pretty,” and repeatedly asked whether I was staying alone. These comments and questions made me feel very uncomfortable. As a guest, I expect to feel safe, respected, and not placed in awkward situations. I was so uneasy that I left breakfast early, even though I was still hungry. I later ordered room service. The food was fine, but the Singapore Sling cocktail was not good at all and did not meet expectations. Overall, this experience at InterContinental Kuala Lumpur did not reflect the level of comfort, professionalism, and respect I have experienced at other InterContinental properties around the world.

Excellent location within 10 minutes walk to Petronas Tower. Large rooms with full amenities. Friendly and attentive staff. Good buffet breakfast. Highly recommend.

the location is conveniently located beside train/LRT Ampang Park and is easy to get around. the hotel is clean, fuss free and responsive to requests for more water. there’s a small cafe nearby too!

the room door is super old and very difficult to open and close. We understand and able to participate no change the bedsheet to saves water, but MUST have the clean Bedsheets provided. My wife and my boy have skin issues after 4 nights stay in this hotel!!!

Had my room changed twice because of the bath water. The first was muddy brown. The second and third were yellow. At least the staff were nice and helpful about it, and kept offering us to change rooms if we wanted. I felt there was nothing more they could do as it seems related to the local water supply, chlorine treatment and old piping in an aging hotel. Only got triggered by a maintenance staff who was obviously not trained in customer service. Insulted our intelligence by telling us the yellow tint we see is due to the lighting, and if the bath water was poured into a glass bottle it would look exactly the same as drinking water. It did not. The swimming pool and central water feature of the hotel were being renovated during our stay. An extremely tired Intercontinental Hotel previously rebranded from Hotel Nikko in dire need of a full-scale modernisation to be on par with those with the same names in Bangkok. However, customer service is great, bed and towels are huge and comfortable, pastries and canapes served at the Club Intercontinental lounge are exquisite.

Very good stay overall room 909 check-in smooth , processed by Weena breakfast v diverse with many waiting staff  the hotel messaging service worked well to highlight issues order shaving kit etc   bathroom clean- however cold water tap doesnt work on tub so had to have a v hot bath there was a stain (see photo) on bed sheet but I got this changed quickly swimming pool and gym attendant Amy was friendly and helpful negatives tv signal kept breaking up

Nice room and excellent breakfast. Service was great too.
