Prescott Hotel Kuala Lumpur Medan Tuanku

Location : near to the public transport (train/bus stop). Food : plenty of option nearby - more of local cuisine. The room was spacious and clean. Staff was nice and helpful. Basement carpark is available. Its a bit noisy at night as there was outdoor karaoke at the nearby shop across the street. Which was really annoying as it last till 3 am. The authority need to do something about it.

I must have believed all the negative reviews that were given before I book. I had requested for an early check in as I was having a long flight and the hotel didn’t reply to my request, hence I assumed that it wouldn’t be an issue. I arrived at 8:30 am to the hotel and was told by the receptionist that the earliest that she can give me my room is at 11 am, I told her that I requested an early check in for a reason but I was told to wait until 11 am. When it was 10 am, I went again and asked whether there is an empty room since so many people were checking out and she replied by saying that I will be receiving my room after 12pm!!!! As if she didn’t care about me already waiting for more than 2 hours at their lobby. She was rude and I had to deal with her with the same attitude and she didn’t even bother to apologise. In the end I had to pay extra to get a twin room instead as I was told this is the only type of room that is available. Whilst entering the room I realised that it was dirty, the floor was sticky, the carpet was not well vacuumed, the water bottle that they provided was not clean, the bed sheets were having dirty spots everywhere and it was really uncomfortable but I didn’t have another choice as I was tired. Additionally, I was also shocked that the toilet was not clean enough and I had to clean it before using it. This was my worst experience ever in Kuala Lumpur and I will not repeat the visit to this hotel.

Very nice hotel, that's why I come back to stay here again. It is walking distance to monorail and about 3 stops from city centre Pavilion. A few minutes walk from a big shopping centre.

my 1st solo travel to kuala lumpur and what i can say is no wonder this hotel got the best hotel in trip in 2021! very spacious bathroom, comfortable bed, plenty of towels and pillows and most importantly a quiet environment at night!!
