Hotel Olive Ksamil

We stayed at Olive Hotel for 4 nights and found it to be a good option for this area, being reasonably small and located in a calm part of town, yet within easy walking distance of beaches, restaurants and bars (and a short drive to other sights). The hotel itself didn’t have a lot of facilities but our room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed having a small balcony and lovely views across the water. Breakfast was quite basic but adequate, and parking was easy. Would recommend for a short break in Ksamil.

This is a lovely hotel on the edge of town. We had a bedroom and sitting room so very spacious and comfortable. If you go out of the hotel and turn right you go into the busy town. If you turn left there are lovely walks through the countryside on quiet roads. Also some restaurants and beaches we went to Summer Gate for most meals and swimming, so stayed away from town . The hotel is very clean, bed and pillows of high quality and allow for a good nights sleep. I liked the breakfast. Lots of choice and everything fresh. And what a view! Up on the roof. Not sure of noise levels in high season but in May it was fine. All the staff were friendly and helpful and made the stay very pleasant.

Located a short walk from the beach, this modern 6 storey hotel includes a basement car park, although access is quite difficult due to the steep incline and tight exit. There is a more convenient outdoor car park directly opposite the hotel, which is much easier to use. Check-in was quick and efficient on the ground floor. We stayed in Room 22 on the second floor, accessible by lift, with around five rooms per floor. The room was modern in design but on the small side. It featured wood-panel décor, a TV wall, a cloth headboard, a small table with two bedside tables, and an open hanging area with a fridge underneath. The spot lighting added a contemporary touch. The bathroom was also compact, and the door opened directly into the toilet area, making it feel slightly cramped. However, the water pressure in the shower was very good. One issue we experienced was with the air conditioning. Overnight, the room remained at around 22°C as the cooling was not functioning properly. After informing reception, they switched it on. We were told the system is controlled per floor, meaning it is set either to heating or cooling rather than individual room control. The room also had a small outdoor terrace with partial sea views. Privacy was limited, however, as neighbouring terraces were very close, separated only by wooden dividers. Breakfast is served on the 4th floor rooftop terrace(6th floor from basement level) , which offers lovely sea views. The breakfast spread was good, with warm items including eggs, chicken sausages, bureks, and pancakes. Coffee was filtered rather than barista-style. There were also nuts available, with yogurt and although fresh fruit options were limited to whole oranges and apples rather than cut fruit. One downside was the noise. Doors tended to bang loudly on the floor , and conversations in the corridor could easily be heard from inside the room albeit not very intern, twice a day. Overall, the hotel offers a modern stay in a convenient location near the beach, with good breakfast views and helpful staff, although the small room sizes, air conditioning setup, and noise insulation could be improved.

An excellent small hotel, the best in Ksamil. Lovely location at the quieter end opposite Lori beach. Pristine hotel, lovely rooms, comfortable beds and very friendly staff. Tripe glazed so you can cutout street noise at night. The roof top terrace where you have breakfast has stunning views! The breakfast offers a great choice. We had a really wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Husband and wife in our 50's From the moment we arrived, we felt so warmly welcomed at The Olive Hotel. The whole place has such a friendly, genuine atmosphere. Our room (No. 33) was spotless and beautifully maintained. It was a little on the small side for a 7-day stay, but would be perfect for a shorter break of 5 days or less – and honestly, we had no issues at all. The view from our room was simply breathtaking, overlooking the bays and Twin Island in the distance – something we never tired of. What really stood out to us was how immaculate the hotel was. It is without doubt the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. The linen and towels were changed daily, the corridors and communal areas were always pristine, and even smelled fresh and inviting. Breakfast on the top floor was another highlight – a fantastic spread with the most incredible panoramic view across the islands and coastline. Eating there each morning felt like a treat in itself. The location was ideal for us. We didn’t want to be in the middle of the nightlife, and the hotel’s position near Lori Beach was perfect – calm, quiet, and surrounded by olive trees and the scent of jasmine. Within a short 5-minute walk, there were plenty of beautiful bays to relax on, as well as restaurants and boat trips to the islands (highly recommended!). Lori Beach itself was lovely, with clear waters and a relaxed atmosphere. A special mention must go to Uzcia on reception. He was incredibly helpful throughout our stay – from booking taxis to answering our queries on Instagram Messenger, nothing was too much trouble. That personal touch really made a difference. Another thoughtful extra we loved was the provision of fresh beach towels every day. It saved us the hassle of bringing our own and meant we could head down to the beach without a worry. Overall, The Olive Hotel exceeded all our expectations. Warm hospitality, impeccable cleanliness, stunning views, and a perfect location – we honestly couldn’t have asked for more. We would recommend it wholeheartedly and will definitely return!

Literally not a bad word to say about the hotel! The manager was quite possibly the kindest guy we’ve ever met on our travels, nothing was ever too much and was very chatty and helpful

Wonderful modern, clean hotel in quiet location. 100 meters from the a beautiful beach. Delicious breakfast with spectacular views from the rooftop dining room. Staff super friendly and helpful. About 10 minute walk to main area of shops, but we appreciated being in a quieter area. Loved it and would definitely stay there again.
