"We booked a hall at Contour Halls for 19 August 2026 and paid an advance of ₹10,000 on 10 June 2026. Due to unavoidable family circumstances, we had to reschedule the event to 17 August 2026 and informed the banquet in charge on 2 July 2026, which was about 45 days in advance. Unfortunately, the venue was not available on the new date. When we requested a refund of our advance, we were informed that the company has a "no refund" policy. What is disappointing is that this policy was never communicated to us during any discussion, nor is it mentioned on the receipt provided at the time of payment. I understand if a cancellation happens at the last minute, but in our case the date change was communicated well in advance. Transparency and clear communication are important aspects of customer service, especially for event bookings. Customers should be informed of any non-refundable terms before making payments. For me, this is not just about ₹10,000; it is about business ethics and fair treatment of customers. I would advise future customers to clearly obtain written confirmation of the cancellation and refund policy before paying any advance amount. God bless this group who needs money to survive."

"It is very clean, has a beautiful garden, a pool with nice few of the lake and also the food was really great. Sindhu (the experience manager) took a lot of time taking care of us. She helped me with my skin problems by finding some good herbs, took lots of pictures of us, showed us the garden and gave us some fresh mangos straight from the tree. Also the reception was very friendly and helpful - they brought us some fresh coconut, answered all of our questions and also brought some breakfast to the room. An ayurvedic doctor gave us a lot of insight and we had a great masage, worth the money (around 25€ for 1 hour). There are events included, such as a boat trip with the sunset, guided walks, afternoon tea and snacks, and a lot more. All together it was a great experience."

The staff were polite and friendly and whilst we were in the pool one of the workers offered to get us a couple of pool towels. The pool was clean and very inviting temperature. There is a really nice raised area to sit above the pool which had a slight breeze. The food in the restaurant was not that great but as nothing was really close by and we had no transport this was really only option."

"Our family of 5 (including 2 senior citizens and a 7 yr old) visited this resort in Kumarakom for a quick 2 day visit in October . When we reached the parking lot I was in for a shock and felt cheated because the place looked so different from the actual pictures . As soon as I called the reception to reconfirm my location, they sent a person who ushered us to a small roadside canal and took us in a small boat (vanji as it called colloquially). The short 2 min drive changed my first impression drastically. The boat ride to the resort was so serene that it brought in an instant sense of calmness . The resort staff greeted us sweetly and the entire resort was a treat to our eyes. The resort is made thoughtfully and is surrounded by greenery and water . You can sit for hours on the bench in front of the Vembanad lake watching it and that too without worrying about the coconuts falling on your head (Yes! They have taken additional care to add sheets around the tree to prevent coconuts from falling down too :) ). The restaurant inside this resort serves yummy food but costs a bomb. However there are other food options we can explore outside. The extremely friendly staff ***** with the overall ambience definitely makes this place worth a visit"
