Visited the Aqualand in August with my wife, our two teenagers and the mother-in-law. Yes, the hotel is dated and in need of a refurb (it was closed for two full years during Covid) with many common areas looking rather tired. And yes, the AI drinks package isn’t great and needs looking at, but it’s what you make of it, and we didn’t have an issue finding some lovely (and deadly) drinks to enjoy! It’s clean, the rooms are spacious and comfy, the food is exquisite, the staff are lovely and will treat you how you treat them (a lot of people tend to forget that!). The aqua park is pretty damn good and kept me and my son entertained for hours!! Special mention to Yiannis the absolute legend who works tirelessly day in day out to shuttle people up and down the hill to the beach and bus stops. Gabi, Mickey, V Boy, Valeria and rest of the animation team work so hard to engage and entertain the guests, they all do a great job and made our stay even brighter! The hotel is well placed for Kos Town with the frequent bus links, well worth venturing down there and booking the 3-island cruise or sunset cruise! Overall, I can’t see where all the negativity comes from. It’s a perfectly decent place, brilliant for young families!
