Lugar estratégico para visitar Trieste y otras ciudades, muy cerca de Eslovenia. Habitaciones limpias, excelente servicio y personal muy amable y disponible. Desayuno variado y abundante y de calidad no faltaba nada. Garaje con aparcamiento gratuito. Aunque no dispone de restaurante el lugar ofrece soluciones de todos los tipos en los alrededores incluso a pie. Piscina limpia grande y con diferentes niveles incluso hidromasaje, mira directamente en el puerto. Asesoramiento también para familias con niños.

We were visiting the Slovenian Coast for 5 Nights as a couple with a dog. We opted for a hotel in a more quiet location compared with portoroz - Izola etc.... What a great choice! Firstly, the hotel is beautiful renovated and looks like a new place. All is well and feels new - from the Restaurant, Lobby and the Rooms! (and awesome Salt chambers..) We chose a double room with balcony, which in those hot days were great for the early mornings or later evenings! (plus a big help in drying beach towels and clothes!) The room was nice, safe and mini bar fridge all available. Good shower - and for outdoor 38 degrees heat a perfectly working Air Con!! That's a real bonus! The Food (Breakfast was an enough wide selection) and the Dinner (mixed à la carte & sushi) must be stated was amazingly nice cooked, real top quality chef! if you like to dine out or eat in the evenings out just a 10-minute walk is the Ancaran Townsquare with a handful of nice Bars, Italian, Local Speciality Restaurant and so on. ＞All one needs! But the best ist still straight down from the hotel, the small bar on the beach! - So! - most over all I like to mention the feeling being a few days away from home in this place made us really relaxed and the best of the hotel is the people who work there!! - from the welcome reception team to the bar & restaurant staff and the housekeepers - all were at every time friendly and engaged! Overall, the Owner or Manager of this Hotel should be happy to have exactly this team working there now! They are awesome people with a good sense of hospitality! I would try to keep them! From the hotel you can walk in 3-5 minutes to a nice calm, quiet beach with another nice Restaurant and Bar (directly overlooking the Bay of Ancaran, Koper and so on) which was a lovely scenery!). The water was crystal clean and perfect temperature, and each time coming back to the hotel felt simply nice. Having travelled over 100s of times and stayed in 2-5 star hotels all over - this is definitely a place to go back. You just have to know what you are looking for and what kind of entertainment one wants. If you choose wisely, and you look for a bit more quiet place and not overloaded with people - and good drinks, food etc... than this is your destination! Thank you Team Ortus for the great stay. We stayed four nights in The Modernist Hotel in mid October. The location was an easy 20 minute walk from the main train station and centrally located between the water and two interesting neighborhoods. Our room was comfortable and spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was pleasant and satisfying. I am very sensitive to noise and was bothered by the busy street below. This is very individual. I grew up in New York City and the location would be quiet by NYC standards.

We had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel. The room was large and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was substantial with plenty of choices available. During the day the breakfast room also serves as the hotel guest lounge. There are complimentary pastries, tea and a coffee machine available here for hotel guests throughout the day. It is a relaxing place to sit and refresh. The hotel staff are friendly, polite and helpful. In front of the hotel is a small shop where you can buy a 24 hour bus ticket for three euros. Many of the local sites are accessible using public transport. There are plenty of restaurants surrounding the hotel. It is a five minute walk to the the old town.

Es un muy buen hotel, con un excelente servicio, con un muy buen trato de los empleados y empleadas. Muy bien ubicado, cerca del centro de Trieste y al lado de las estaciones de tren y autobús. El personal del hotel te aconseja y ayuda ante cualquier duda o problema.

En general, el hotel es muy agradable con una veranda , donde se sirven comida y bebidas, que se mira a las colinas enrolladas con muchos viñedos. Es una hermosa vista. Su vino es bueno y la viñeda está en el sitio para una diversión. El hotel es un hotel agradable con un gran personal que son muy útiles. La caminata no es lejos de tomar el transbordador hasta Motovun Old Town con una gran vista, tiendas y restaurantes. El restaurante con “Mondo” en su nombre es excelente! El desayuno era bueno con fruta, fruta de ovejas/cereales, carne, huevos, pan y otras opciones. Cuando las tormentas golpean, son violentas y algo para tomar la cobertura de como la lluvia es torrencial.
