La estancia estaba bien porque era un dormitorio ac. Sin embargo, no hay quejas sobre la limpieza. He tenido cama #18 que era okais. Puedes conseguir comida simplemente saliendo del hotel. If you're in Kolkata to enjoy the romantic ambiance of a city with real soul, this place is the right establishment, in the right location and has more than reasonable prices. Immaculately kept rooms, helpful but unassuming staff and some lovely little touches (particularly loved the old books and pictures of grandad and great grand dad in the reception) make this a place a real jewel and a nice surprise to end our trip to India with. If you suspect Im exagerating, do yourself a favor and take a chance on it. You'll be glad you did.

I was looking for cheap hotel near sealdah railway station and i got this. Room and washroom were clean.
Everything was good.
Metro and railway station is just 500m.

El hotel es súper moderno. Las habitaciones son amplias así como los baños . El servicio de Sugata en la zona de la piscina es perfecto! Todo el personal es muy amable y profesional. La comida es estupenda en los dos restaurantes . Una maravilla.

Muy bueno
AArindamRoom was fine, clean n comfortable with perfect air con temperature. The half open shower cubicle in the wash room is annoying since one needs to be carefully taking shower to avoid the mess up of the entire washroom. Full partition would have made life better. Food is good with great spread in the weekends lunch n dinner. But the hotel crowd is quite low especially in the morning breakfast hour. The hotels policy to let out rooms n conference rooms to companies is the result of this. No offence but the restaurant gets extremely noisy with this crowed bulldozing their way for food and judging people around. The also dump their backpacks in the restaurant chairs but take seat in others. This experience is not once but in both my trips in end May 22 and this early Aug 22. Not sure what hotel can do about it but this is what it is. The restaurant staffs are friendly while the reception staffs needs more training. They are cold and lack professionalism.
Overall good place to stay for the price they charge.

SSwikrutiReservamos una noche aquí en el Holiday Inn Kolkata hotel. He permanecido también en Holiday Inn chennai. Sin embargo, las normas de limpieza y de acondicionamiento y la habitación, los equipos de baño y el piso eran bajos y algunas áreas se sentían también sin saneamiento. El piso de la habitación también carecía de limpieza.
El hotel está muy bien situado, pero no hay nada que pueda hacer.
Las paredes no tenían lustre. Y pagamos aproximadamente 62 euros. Quizás tengan que comprobar las normas de otros Holiday Inns como en Chennai.
La comida que ordenamos fue buena. 10/10 en eso.
Pero en cierto modo la marca que Holiday Inn es y que hemos experimentado en Kolkata fue una enorme desacuerdo.
Espero que se ocupen de todo esto.

AAmanI shall start from arrival at the hotel. We were a family of four who had booked two rooms at the property. We arrived around 14:30 Hrs (at least 30 mins after the designated check-in time). First of all, although the check-in desk at the hotel is quite huge, there were only 3 staff members ***ning the desk, all of them occupied. We had to wait for around 15 mins, looking here and there like *****s with our bags on before someone greeted us. And I do not mind waiting for check-in; what I do mind is that despite multiple staff members seeing us wait, not one of them acknowledge our presence and asked us to take a seat and wait. They would all look at us and carry on. Forget a warm smile, forget a namaste, we were made to feel like fools just standing there without anyone attending to us. When we finally did get a chance to check in, we were given two adjacent rooms. The key to one room was handed over to us, and we were told that the second room is not ready yet and that as soon as it is ready the key would be sent to us in our room. We said okay and moved towards our room. Once in our room, all four of us sat waiting in one room for around 45 mins for the key to the second room. We were not able to unpack because we wanted to unpack in our respective rooms. Tired and hungry, we left the hotel to get ourselves some lunch and some sightseeing, hoping that by the time we return our second room would be ready. When we returned and asked for the key to the second room from the reception desk, we were told that the room that was allocated to us had been now given to someone else -- and we were given some other room that was ”close” to the first room. I understand that asking for adjacent rooms is a mere request and not a right. But had we been given a ”close” room earlier, we could have gotten the keys earlier at the time of check-in! We waited for a room for so long, only for it to be given to someone else.
Fast forward to the next morning's breakfast. The spread was quite good and quite diverse in variety. However, again the entire staff at the breakfast looked tense for some reason. And they kept messing up with live counter orders. No one had a smile on, no one welcomed you with warmth, and no one made you feel as if you were staying in a 5-star hotel (which The Lalit considers itself to be).
Our entire experience with The Lalit was below par at the very least. It was not the kind of experience you would expect from a branded property that so conveniently calls itself a luxury 5-star property. I honestly feel for the money that I paid, I could and should have gotten a different property and that would have been definitely better. For the foreseeable future, and till things change, I do not see myself staying at any Lalit property.

IIdyllicExcelente estancia, y muy bien para conocer a tres musketeras entusiasta liderada por la Sra. Chowdhury. Excepto para el abuelo colorido en la recepción con un ego de tamaño puedes llamar no muy bien en el negocio de la hospitalidad y muy preocupado, pero todavía un tipo interesante para hablar con un monologo largo en sus oídos sordos que luego responde con un truco En el hotel, el hotel está muy bien situado, y el hotel está muy bien situado.
