Few items missing from the room but sorted minimum fuss
Staff polite and helpful
Construction was ongoing but visitors not disturbed at all
Great location in centre of salt lake - near metro with easy access to those travelling across the city

A very good and perfect for your stay in Salt Lake area. Good spacious rooms. The service is very good. The staff are friendlly Location wise also very good. Its near City Centre. If you are looking for a good hotel with peace of mind, I say go for it.

Sulagna and Priya is the best staff in Sonnet. Very helpful and very charming person. With them the stay with Sonnet was marked wonderful. Kudos. Overall the experience was wonderful. Food was fantastic. Stay was staff very co-operative.

Wife and I just completed our third two week stay in 3 years at the hotel. The newer rooms on the 7th floor are well appointed with lots of storage compared to the older club rooms on the lower floors. The hotel has been going through a multi year renovation and that impacts the comfort of the stay but good thing this year is that the new restaurant is open and running. The hotel is also trying to remedy the shortage of restaurant stuff. The swimming pool is yet to be operational. The wifi connection is unreliable and it is difficult to get work done at times. The reason this is a 4 star review is majorly the staff continue to care about your stay and try their best. The environment is as usual warm and welcoming and over the years we have come to look forward to our stay at The Sonnet. The location cannot be beat for convenience and walk-friendliness which some of the nearby fancier hotels cannot claim. Till the next time, thank you to The Sonnet!!

First time in hotel, I really enjoy it. Service is good and housekeeping is excellent. Great service from everybody, especially Rajesh and Abir of housekeeping. Will definately stay here again. I will recommend it to my friends. Thanks!!

The most pathetic hotel in terms of ***agement and service. The ***ager "Benedict" didn't even co-operate once. He was rude not only with us but with other ***agement as well. Being an individual I would recommend to go to some other rather than being insulted by the ***agement. I request the AGM to take immediate action.

On 24th we celebrate our anniversary. We had a very special event planned at Sonnet Hotel, Kolkata. Sonnet team was excellent from the beginning. They suggested to me the terrace as a venue which was quite spacious and beautiful. The entire event was well-planned from the beginning, and on the day of the event, the arrangements were beyond our expectations. All our guests were very satisfied with all the arrangements, The ambience, the food arrangements, the communication, the coordination and the overall service to all our guests were excellent.The most important observation is the hotel’s amazing staff Special thanks to Ms Jogomaya for the success of the event! We recently celebrated our child’s birthday in the banquet hall of the Sonnet Hotel, Kolkata. The entire event was well-planned from the beginning, and on the day of the event, the arrangements were beyond our expectations. The ambience, the food arrangements, the communication, the coordination and the overall service to all our guests were excellent. Special thanks to Ms Jogomaya, Mr Sayan and Mr Monojit for the success of the event!
