The only issue was that the elevator in the lobby frequently malfunctioned, getting stuck and not opening its doors unless someone pressed the button from the outside. As for hardware, the power outlets on the walls in the room were a bit loose. Other hardware was fine."

Piscina, camas solares, acceso al bar de piscina era bonito. Una excursión inclusiva nos disfrutamos de todos los cocktails del bar. No se les ha servido nada de roto y se les ha servido en una taza de plástico, pero eso no nos molesta. Me gustaba especialmente la sangria mezclando vino rojo con jugos de citrus! La comida estaba bien. Había muchas opciones y cambiaba diariamente. Comíamos mucho y amamos el calendario para ellos. El hotel es muy pequeño y familiar. Había muchos niños y familias y por lo tanto fue un poco ruidoso. No nos importaba, pero podría ser un comerciante para alguien. La zona estaba un poco en medio de nadie. Había unos pocos tiendas, una hermosa playa y un parque acuático divertido. Me gustaba la tierra tranquila “vacía” que estaba en. Recomendaría un coche, pero el autobús llegó cada 30 minutos o así y iba a la ciudad de Chaniá en 45 minutos, pero estaba muy confundido y todo el sistema de autobús estaba un poco fuera. ¡No hay duda de que volvería a visitar, era unas vacaciones muy agradables!"

"Beware of cockroaches! On our second night, we discovered cockroaches in our room. When we asked to change rooms, we were told they couldn't offer anything because they were fully booked. Apparently, they sprayed something and it was supposed to be okay, but it wasn't. The following nights were spent watching to make sure nothing was crawling on us. The hotel doesn't deserve a 4-star rating, and the food and all-inclusive standard are a complete mess. The food is mostly catering, very monotonous and tasteless, mostly. The bar, sandwiches, and snack bar by the pool are a complete mess. Two old refrigerators serve pieces of cake in plastic boxes. "Salads" (a few green leaves) or a few pieces of fruit are served in the same boxes. The snacks are breaded, and you don't know what—it's fish, not meat. I tried it once, but I won't do it again. Our room, 707, is located in a terrible location, overlooking the wall of an outbuilding. Right next to the terrace is a road where all deliveries are made from 6 a.m., so sleeping after 6 a.m. is out of the question. And Christos at the reception, posing as a manager when we asked for a room change, said: "As far as I'm concerned, you can leave the hotel immediately and you can write your opinions wherever you want. The only good things are the location by the sea and the service - really nice and friendly people, it's a shame they have to promote this hotel. They give it 2+ stars, not 4. No all inclusive, only three meals of poor quality. The price is definitely excessive. Never again with ITAKA COMPANY.""

"The apartments are very nice, well furnished with a very furnished kitchen. The beds are very comfortable, beautiful bleeding and towels. It is a nice accommodation in a small village in the quiet port. There are interesting restaurants but mainly a starting point for the beaches of the area. Breakfast is made at their hotel, which is 2 minutes by car or 10 walks away but is exceptional because it is a luxury hotel. We had a problem with the shower which inevitably flooded the whole bathroom and we reported."

"Some of the staff have a bit of an attitude problem. It also seemed mechanical the way the in-house restaurant manager ’Manos’ spoke to us and everyone else. Also he was dominant in his behavior towards the customers making it uncomfortable to say when something wasn’t right. Making it feel like we, the customers, are the problem. He was also favoring customers that responded better to his dominant ways of interacting. We spoke to several other couples there who agreed. On our first evening we had dinner in-house (the only time). When we got to the outside restaurant area, 2 staff and a random person sat smoking in the nearby bar, no one welcomed us until we stood in front of them looking confused. Went onto having an undercooked burger and a boring pork chop dish. Go to the nearby local restaurants (2 close by). The hotel should keep to breakfast and snack menu and then excel at these while working with the local area for eating out. It already being a village hotel this just makes sense to lift and utilize their surroundings better! Kudos to ‘GENI’ and ‘Vasillis’ a waiter and receptionist who both were good to us. The facilities have potential (a lot) but the execution is lacking accordingly. Pool area needs music. The lights around the hotel is something you install in your shed or a backlot with motion sensors. The table tennis area lacks all kinds of mood setting. Talking about the place resembling a shed, that area tops the list. Also the table was broken along with the bats. Use lamps that resemble a flame. Yeah all in all a lot could be done for the setting. You don’t get the feeling of being in a hotel that has the stars they tell you. On paper they achieve the stars, but not in our combined experience of the place. "

"We stayed in a deluxe suite with a pool for 7 days. The room was somewhat run-down and felt quite old, unlike the photos online. Cleanliness was also subpar, likely due to the room's age. For example, there was mold in the grout between the bathroom sink and surrounding tiles, and the floor was cracked and always felt dirty. The sofa was white but very dirty, with faded colors and grime. The room's soundproofing was poor; we could hear conversations from upstairs in the bathroom. Furthermore, although the hotel advertised an all-inclusive package, they were very strict about bottled water and meal times. Each person was only allowed one bottle of water at a time, and it wasn't delivered; we had to get it ourselves from the bar. We were rushed around for meals if it was even slightly late, and the staff became quite rude. We had a small baby traveling with us, and although we requested a crib during booking and reminded the hotel via WhatsApp, there was no crib in the room. We waited over an hour after check-in before an extra crib was provided, disrupting the baby's sleep. In short, our experience with the hotel was subpar; the facilities, cleanliness, and service were not worth it."

"Llegamos al Hotel Mrs Chryssana Beach después de medianoche, ya que nuestro avión se retrasó. Nos encontramos con la recepción cerrada, a oscuras y sin nadie. La llave de nuestra habitación estaba en un sobre pegado con cinta adhesiva a la puerta de recepción, con solo mi nombre y el número de habitación, sin ninguna flecha que nos indicara la dirección correcta. Pido disculpas a los demás huéspedes que tuvieron que escuchar nuestras maletas rodar por el suelo hasta que encontramos nuestra habitación. Esto no es así; debería haber alguien que te reciba, ya que saben que vas a llegar. A la mañana siguiente tuve que preguntar todo sobre nuestra estancia, incluso después de haberle informado a la recepcionista de que habíamos llegado la noche anterior y no había nadie. Si quieren saber algo, pregúntenle al señor de recepción por la noche; es muy amable y les ayudará con los autobuses y les informará sobre la zona. Cuando dicen "estación de autobuses" en la calle, cerca del supermercado, se refieren a una parada de autobús solicitada, no a una estación de autobuses como la conocemos en el Reino Unido, pero hay una estación de autobuses al final del viaje a Chania (se pronuncia Hania). El hotel era familiar, pero ahora forma parte de una empresa propietaria de un pequeño grupo de hoteles y solía ser solo para adultos. Sin embargo, desde la temporada 2024, se admiten niños. Los niños no tienen mucho que hacer en el hotel, ya que solo pueden jugar en la piscina infantil y no hay menú infantil para las comidas. El hotel se encuentra en una zona tranquila sin animación nocturna, solo el reproductor de música del bar de la piscina y un poco de música de fondo en el restaurante. La mayoría de los restaurantes y tabernas de la zona no son solo para tomar algo, pero se puede. Ten cuidado con la pareja de ancianos que tiene el restaurante en la calle principal, al girar a la izquierda al salir del hotel para llegar a la calle principal. Te hacen señas para que entres, pero siempre está desierto y, si entras, te dan un menú sin precios y luego una factura desorbitada al final. Dudamos si estábamos en la habitación correcta en nuestro primer contacto con recepción, ya que habíamos reservado una habitación elegante con vistas al mar y balcón, pero nos dieron una habitación con vistas laterales al mar y balcón. Resulta que las habitaciones dobles clásicas y las elegantes tienen el mismo tamaño y las mismas vistas, la diferencia es que las dobles clásicas están más alejadas del mar. Las habitaciones para familiares y amigos son las más cercanas al mar y las que tienen vistas al mar son las del fondo, a cada lado, y las del fondo, sobre el restaurante. Me han dicho que son habitaciones elegantes. La recepción necesita ventiladores de techo, al igual que el restaurante, o algún otro sistema para bajar la temperatura. Las habitaciones están bien, pero necesitan más espacio en los armarios, perchas y cajones. El baño necesita un extractor para ventilar el vapor al ducharse, ya que se acumula y cuelga del techo. La caja fuerte está atornillada a la pared y requiere una llave que hay que pedir y pagar."

"We spent a week at the While Pear Solimar hotel and I will remember this week with real pleasure. We wanted a place that would be quiet, pleasant, clean, where we could relax. That's exactly what happened. I must note that this was facilitated not only by the fact that the hotel is for adults only, but also by the fact that the season was getting started and attractions in the form of animations were to start only after a few days, which suited us very, very well. The rooms are quite small (at least ours, but it was ok) with a balcony both cleaned well everyday. Towels are replaced, bottles of water and tea are added every day as well (there was a kettle in the room). The hotel is right by the sea, which is extremely pleasant because of the views. Hotel jest dobrze zaplanowany architektonicznie, otoczenie jest ładne i zadbane.There are sun loungers by the pool and also on the beach (although there are fewer of them). The food fresh and varied, of course olives and feta cheese are very tasty, excellent Greek desserts ( the creteanian orange cake is wonderful!). The only thing I would like to have differently is the coffee/tea situation at lunch and dinner. I like having my dessert with a cup of coffee and the fact it was only available at the bar (where the food from a restaurant is not allowed) not in a restaurant was a bit annoying. The staff is very kind, helpful and I felt they care about the guests and maintaining this place with the best standard they can.Keep it up ! My special thanks to Maitre D’hotel, Mr Sifis and everyone working at the restaurant and at the bar – always kind, helpful, attentive, communicative and smiley. We appreciate this level of hospitality. Thank you and all the best ! We will certainly recommend this hotel to our family, friends and acquaintances."
