Tanote Villa

Fuimos a la villa Tanote con nuestros 3 hijos. El hotel es absolutamente maravilloso, es fantástico para todos los viajeros: parejas o familias. Un agradecimiento especial a Jido, quien nos ayudó a organizar nuestra estadía en Koh Tao. Fue excelente, muy amable, atenta y extremadamente eficiente. ¡Definitivamente recomendaría este hotel! ¡Hay habitaciones comunicadas, lo cual es muy agradable para una familia! ¡Y me encantaría volver a este hermoso hotel con vistas increíbles y una gran bahía para practicar snorkel (también para principiantes) después de una caminata de 5 minutos por la jungla!

En general, nuestra experiencia en el hotel fue muy normal. La piscina y los terrenos de la propiedad son hermosos con un hermoso sendero hacia la playa. Sin embargo, nuestra unidad de aire acondicionado no enfrió nuestra habitación, lo que hizo que la estancia fuera muy incómoda. El baño está anticuado con agua tibia y el restaurante tenía poco que desear. Esta propiedad también está alejada de la ciudad principal, con taxis costosos que entran y salen y no hay nada al alcance de la mano.

Precioso complejo en Tanote. Las habitaciones son amplias y la cama es buena para 3 personas. Los baños también son amplios y cuentan con ducha de efecto lluvia real, aunque no tienen bañera. Tiene una piscina grande y hermosa y una piscina infinita más pequeña y una piscina para niños. Tiene un bonito restaurante con una fascinante cortina en el techo que fluye con el viento. El desayuno es básico. La comida y las bebidas en el restaurante están bien. Hay un servicio de transporte gratuito si desea ir al centro de la ciudad/muelle y regresar. Camine 5 minutos por el sendero que baja la colina y llegará a la playa de Tanote con numerosas rocas y cantos rodados espectaculares. Aquí también se encuentran un par de complejos turísticos y restaurantes. Intenté hacer snorkel aquí pero el agua está sucia con muchos plásticos y esas cosas. Necesita una campaña de limpieza masiva. Lleve una loción contra mosquitos porque el complejo tiene muchas aguas estancadas donde se reproducen los mosquitos. Necesitan seriamente cambiar esas plantas acuosas y reemplazarlas con plantas de serpientes. Menos mantenimiento y sin necesidad de agua. El personal es servicial y amable, siempre dispuesto a ayudarle. Fui aquí para su desayuno flotante. ¡Fue increíble!

Durante nuestra estancia en la isla de Koh Tao en julio de 2022, mi pareja y yo pasamos un tiempo maravilloso en Tanote Villa Hill. El resort ofrece: Un hermoso entorno entre una exuberante naturaleza tropical. Un ambiente tranquilo y pacífico. 2 maravillosas piscinas. Grandes vistas al mar. Amplias habitaciones con bonita decoración. Camas grandes y cómodas. Empleados amables y serviciales. Mi agradecimiento especial para la señora gerente de Tanote Villa Hill. Durante mi estancia en Koh Tao tuve que afrontar algunas dificultades. Mis problemas se han solucionado gracias a su deseo de ayudarme y gracias a sus capacidades de diálogo y negociación. Guardo excelentes recuerdos de mi estadía en Tanote Villa Hill y me encantaría hospedarme nuevamente en este hermoso resort.

Was to stay for 4 nights, out after just 1! Would rather sleep under a tree than stay there again. ROOMS: broken and unlockable balcony door, barely working aircon (the cooling mode only works if on lowest fan mode, the rudest manageress showed us that with the widest eye roll), the curtains broken LOCATION: booked through Booking and it's utterly mismapped so beware if you're looking for a beach holiday. It is NOT 160ft (50 mts) from the beach, it is 1800 ft (550 mts as per Google Maps) over a steep hill. The hotel is clearly aware of this but the manageress couldn't care less telling us she didn't care what was on the Booking's website as their own was showing it fine, ha ha :) There are also 2 swimming pools, which may be appealing to first timers but be ready to leave it with your skin nearly melted of the amount of chlorium applied. Lastly, the hotel manageress is the most impolite, dismissive and attitude ridden receptionist I've ever come across. At check in, be prepared for a list of dos and dont's which straight away makes you feel school like rather than opening you to a cool holiday experience! We weren't surprised then when she refused to refund us for the remaining 3 nights giving a fake smile, we pretty much didn't care ourselves at that point as we wanted to go somewhere with good vibes and positive energy, it just showed again that she was lacking any customer service skills and they did care much more about the money than their travellers experience. Go elsewhere and enjoy the ride, there are plenty of lovely places around with actually LOVELY people in them :) you can find both at Koh Tao but you won't find it at Tanote Villa.

We loved everything about Tanote Resort. Our room with its ensuite bathroom and terrace was spacious, clean and comfortable; the swimming pools were super enjoyable and the view over the Tanote Bay and its surroundings was absolutely stunning. The staff was amazing, friendly and welcoming; most come from Myanmar in search for a more hopeful future. A very BIG THANK YOU to all of them for making out stay so special; three brilliant days; what a treat! A side note on the food served at the resort which has been criticized in some reviews. As far as we are concerned, we found breakfast and the food served in the evening excellent. Overall, this is a stay we will remember. We will be back!

The staff at Tanote Villa was simply perfect, they were efficient and willing to help anytime, from the reception to the restaurant staff. The food at the restaurant was pretty good and the hotel facilities and surroundings amazing. The beach is barely 5 minutes walking and one of the bests in the island. Only negative thing is the location as it is quite far from the city center and taxis are way too expensive in the island. If you ever go to Koh Tao, this is definitely the place to stay! We had a great time at this resort, we’ve island hopped and stayed at many resorts and this one will be very memorable as the staff as great. Especially the gentleman in the bar, he was very attentive and always looked after us very much. The views from the hotel are fantastic, the pool and there is a free shuttle from the hotel into the town at set times too, where there are plenty of great places to eat. There isn’t a great deal of variety for breakfast, but it is nice. Great value for money staying at this resort and very pleased we chose this resort and the views and the people made it for us.

We stayed in an Ocean view room and it was a big and very clean space. It was a very reasonable rate for a spacious room, we have been travelling for a while and sometimes you just need that extra space! It had a great view of the pool and the sea in the distance. Best of all was the super helpful and friendly staff that are willing to go out their way to help you!
