Hotel Hohenstaufen

The hotel was excellent in all respects, barring one member of staff in the restraurant/bar who was downright hostile and unhelpful. Everyone else was lovely. Beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. There was a good variety of food on offer at breakfast.

TRIP ADVISOR On 9 April 2022 while on a Viking cruise my wife had a serious accident during a walking tour of Cochem, Germany. She was sent to a hospital in Koblenz, Germany by helicopter and had emergency surgery that night to relieve pressure on her brain caused by bleeding. I got back to Koblenz later that afternoon via a 45+ minute taxi ride and was able to get to the hospital before her surgery. The next day, 10 April, I had to pack all our luggage and remove it from the Viking boat because it was leaving the next morning at 7 am. Then I had to find a hotel near the hospital and move our luggage to it. I was extremely fortunate to choose the Hotel Hohenstaufen. The people at the hotel constantly helped us with whatever we needed. It also had an excellent restaurant, The Mondrian, whose Chef, Martin, also went out of his way to help us. We had to extend our stay at the hotel five times while waiting for our travel insurance company to make arrangements for us to fly back to the U.S. The hotel staff worked with us each time to ensure we kept the same room and did not have to move. The hotel was spotlessly clean and close to the main train station as well as the hospital. There were a number of very good restaurants and a Gelateria in the area which made it a comfortable place to be while we waited for arrangements to be made to get us home. Even though we spent a lot of time in our room hoping to hear some positive news from our insurance company, the hotel staff graciously worked around us and made sure we had whatever we needed to be comfortable. If you plan to visit Koblenz I would strongly encourage you to consider staying at the Hotel Hohenstaufen. Dan Hope

Very nice hotel, location is right next to the station, easy and friendly check in and check out. Rooms was spacious, shower was very good, and it had comfortable beds.

Hotel was conveniently located near the train station in a safe and clean area. The Deutsche Eck, rivers, and other attractions are a pleasant 30 minute stroll. I was early for my check-in, but the staff allowed me to store my bags. The room was ready promptly at 2:00. The breakfast service was good with lots of options. The room was clean, modern, but it would have been nice to have a refrigerator in the room. The WiFi was a bit spotty and could only get a strong signal near the room door. Despite these, I would definitely stay again

Wir haben mit Freunden 3 Nächte über Silvester dort verbracht.Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis war ausgezeichnet. Sehr gutes Essen, ein gutes Frühstücksbuffet und ein ausgezeichnetes Silvestermenü. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, das Restaurant ist optisch sehr ansprechend. Die Lage des Hotels ist ebenfalls sehr gut. Die Altstadt ist sehr gut fußläufig zu erreichen und trotz der Nähe zum Bahnhof ist das Zimmer erstaunlich leise. Wir würden das Hotel wieder buchen allerdings diesmal für einen geringen Aufpreis ein Comfort Zimmer.

Das Hotel liegt gegenüber dem Bahnhof und dem Busbahnhof, also für alle Ausflüge günstig.?

Abbiamo pernottato una notte in questo hotel, durante il nostro viaggio in Germania, e il soggiorno si è rivelato piacevole sotto molteplici aspetti. Innanzitutto, la camera, sebbene piuttosto piccola, l’abbiamo trovata carina, in ordine e pulita. Anche il bagno era di dimensioni contenute ma comunque praticabile senza problemi. Quello che mi ha però spinto ad aumentare la mia votazione sono stati l’ottimo buffet sia per la colazione, così come per la cena e la gentilezza del personale. Una sistemazione che consiglio, anche per la sua posizione piuttosto centrale.

Das Hotel ist sehr zentral direkt beim Bahnhof, sehr nettes zuvorkommendes Personal. Wer Burger mag kann auch gut dort essen ,das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und ruhig ,die Rezeption hat immer ein offenes Ohr für Gespräche. Dieses Hotel kann man nur Empfehlen !
