We had a wonderful time there. 4 couple open air baths that can be rented for 40min and you can also choose to have one I. Your room. Food was really good. As well.

AMAZING!! Absolutely the best!! It was also a steal to stay in one of the best ryokans there for such a price. Room was nice, the amenities included the traditional tea set, i was also provided the yukata and pyjamas and towels for the onsens. The territory included 5 baths, including 2 outdoor ones, for women, which I tried gladly. It was a very relaxing experience. Most baths included an extended self-care set of face and body care treatments you could use in public areas. My skin and soul felt amazing. I also tried ramen in the ramen restaurant in the hotel - was also left happy!

Our stay in this hotel was great! I wish we stayed here longer than one evening. Our traditional Japanese room was very spacious and had two separate toilet rooms attached as well as a bathroom. The view from our room was amazing! And sitting area before the huge windows even had a massage chair and a vanity. The shoji doors showed some signs of wear but everything were very clean. Our kaiseki dinner was spectacular and incredibly tasty. But I wish there were some instructions for foreigners how to enjoy it properly. Our server didn't speak English and we didn't speak Japanese so there was a minor misunderstanding but everything was resolved 😅 I'm definitely a fan of such kind of a meal now! We visited all the hot springs that are available in this hotel and it's sister hotel across the river. I liked the silver indoor spring in our hotel and gold outdoor spring in sister-hotel the most. Hot springs are closed after 24:00. And open from 6:00 to 9:00 nest morning. Unfortunately they are closed from 9:00 to 12:00(check out time) which make it impossible to enjoy them in the morning for those who prefer to sleep in(( Would definitely reccommend the stay for relaxing and luxurious experience.

This hotel is beautiful and the staff provides great service! Unfortunately, I didn't get the dinner because everything was booked in the restaurant, but they offered me to bring food to my room. At first I wanted to do that, but later I decided I wasn't sure if I would be hungry at that time, so I canceled. The location is far from the center and the station, so it is better to spend your time in the village and return in the evening. This hotel is connected to another hotel, so I enjoyed just exploring everything inside. There are 2 public baths, each includes the bath inside and outside (actually, there are 3, but I didn't go outside as it was raining). It was really comfortable there. I chose the hotel only because I wanted to have an open-air onsen, and I got 2! So, despite the location, I would recommend this place because it has a decent price, it has a great service and it is a perfect place to spend the evening!

It was perfect! Water in onsen is hot, food is tasty, nature and hotel are beautiful

Every thing was good. But the Tv turned on automatically at the 6am in the morning. Really shock me out. Have asked the front desk but didn't get a reply.

It is a good hotel with good service. The room was small and two of the three hot springs were quite dirty

Overall the food is good. Only issue is that both dinner and breakfast are served only in the room.

Amazing outdoor onsen and close to town and you should definitely order a transfer from the train station if you are not used to climbing steep roads. Overall it was a great stay for a reasonable price and the town area had tonnes of good food and creative souvenirs.

Great experience! We had a great time staying at the hotel. There are different onsen spots at the hotel. Food is pretty nice and delicate, kaiseki style. It’s farther from the Main Street but quieter and have a better view.
