2 rooms/4 people 11 May before High season. Paid €266.00 1 night stay. Rooms were clean, comfortable, location is great. Staff lovely. Had breakfast to find out it was NOT included. Ordered not even a full Irish and was charged €15.00 each, an extra €60.00 on top of €266.00 !! What a rotten way to end a nice visit and typical way to treat the Irish with family in visiting!! Rip off Ireland is VERY much alive. This took away all the goodness and I will tell all who will listen and please don't delete my review.

Excellent spot . Great value. Stayed here for party in killarney great value compared to other places in killarney. Staff so helpfully. Rooms lovely breakfast location Excellent big shout to staff lovely and helpful..

Our room (room 6, Nov 2023). Had a very strong mold/mildew odor. It made it difficult to sleep and breathe. We should have left and gone elsewhere, or we should have seen if another room was available, but we were exhausted and wanted sleep. Neither of us got much sleep. The mattresses were new (delivered that day actually) but the rug and furniture was holding all sorts of terrible smells and mold. The shower had almost no water pressure, and the toilet wouldnt stop running. Additionally, tiny little sugar ants (not sure if thats what they call them here) kept showing up walking on nightstands.
We did let them know upon checkout.

Spacious room with comfortable beds, although a bit outdated. Our room looked out to an inner yard with emergency stairs, no garden or the like. Bathroom was modern, with a big shower. But it was complicated to operate it - you could unexpectedly turn on the rain shower with cold water! Quiet location very close to the city center and train station. Breakfast was exceptional - only hotel where we could have a hot chocolate! However, on our last day we had a breakfast-to-go that looked good until everything got wet from the juice because the container was broken and we didn't realize it until we got on the train (luckily we had put the cardboard bag into a plastic bag).

We stayed in apartment 2 which is up stairs in the main hotel. On a positive the apartment is spacious, was clean and nicely decorated. However it was exceedingly noisy as all the windows open onto the main road right by a major junction, a garage and an off licence. We were there in the middle of a heatwave and there is no air con (a fan was provided on request) so opening the windows was the only way to cool the room down. When we booked the website said there was a washing machine and dishwasher, there aren't - although the receptionist did do a load of washing for us for free. Also the sheets are polycotton which is pretty unpleasant in a heatwave.

Just back from a fabulous time in kilarney. I stayed in the beautiful castle lodge and I have to say it was beautiful. The food was gorgeous and the staff are so accommodating and made sure we we were always seen after.. I would highly recommend this beautiful place.. The rooms were so clean and the beds were so comfy. And also so close to town. I can't wait to go back.. Definitely had the best hen party ever there. Looking forward to going back. Thanks a million ye are great

A really wonderful place to stay in Killarney. Very comfortable, clean, modern, a five minute walk into town. The staff were uniformly kind and helpful. Breakfast was good, there's parking.
I could not have been happier.
