Обновленный отель на Почтовой площади, в двух шагах от метро. Неплохой ресторан на последнем этаже, также большое количество разнообразного общепита вокруг. Единственный минус - некоторая задержка с заселением, но это мелочи.

The hotel is a little off the track. The entrance and the small lobby give a wrong impression (more 4 star like).
I appreciated the room and the restaurant (good sushi!) and the bar drinks. The service was always attentive.

some equipment at gym didn't work properly: one treadmill and the only elliptical.

I stayed at two hotels during my week in Kiev and this was my favourite. The atmosphere is calm and refined, near the river.
Staff at the front desk and restaurant were efficient and friendly from check-in to check-out. They were very helpful in giving directions, arranging cars, making restaurant reservations and recommendations.
The decor of the room is simple, modern and comfortable. The restaurant on the seventh floor is simply stunning and the breakfast (included) is impeccable. Breakfast is ordered off a menu; there are not a lot of choices but everything is delicious and with beautiful presentation. This is much more elegant than a buffet, in my opinion.
Kyiv can be a complicated city to navigate if one does not speak Russian or Ukrainian, but the staff and setting at Riviera House make me want to return.

Modern rooms, friendly staff, great location and delicious breakfast. However, AC wasn't working in all rooms and water in all bathrooms was yellow with copper particles. I hope these remakes will be taken in consideration for future improvements
