I basically needed a 'home base' for a 4-day visit to the area by motorcycle. The cabin was expected: minimal, but sufficient amenities. I liked the area on the long beach within walking distance of other places to visit and eat. The staff was very nice allowing an early check-in. Wantanan and the cook at the Atima restaurant were lovely and engaging. The food was good and reasonably priced. I booked this resort, to an extent, because they advertised that use of the fitness room was complimentary. They have no fitness room. This was disappointing. Except at the Atima restuarant, the internet was awful, at least in my room. I am generally a low-maintenance traveler. The Talkoo Resort served its purpose. The highlight to me was the staff. I would stay there again under the same circumstances.
