Bella Vista Beach Hotel

Nicely located basic hotel. Very helpful staff, good breakfast. Parking nearby could be an issue during the peak season.

My experience at the Bella Vista was very positive. As per many of the other reviews the staff deserve high praise - from the moment you arrive you are made to feel welcome and provided with map, bus timetables and a cold glass of water if you require them. They also offered me a choice of rooms and allowed me to view them before deciding. The front desk is available 24 hours. As is so common in life it is the little things and small displays of kindness that make the difference. The hotel location is very good - there are restaurants, bus stops, car rental places and supermarkets all within 50-100m of the property. The beach is also just across the road. The marina area which also has many restaurants is a 5-10 minute walk. The hotel is comprised of 3 buildings - the main hotel which is connected to the main lobby, a block of studio apartments about 50m up the hill and a second block of 4 apartments (the Frida block) which is a 2 minute walk away. I stayed in the Frida block so can only comment on this. The room was spacious and had a nice balcony which caught the morning sun. The kitchenette and bathroom were recently updated so were modern and worked well. The apartments are located on the second floor and are very quiet - you cannot hear any noise from the road when the balcony door is closed. The breakfasts are very good with a nice variety to choose from including traditional Greek food.

The best service I've ever had. They are so service minded and not in I'm a paying customer kind of way just very helpful like an old friend. The room was just as described, the air condition was great and the breakfast so delicious.

The room was very clean and well taken care of (unlike a lot of 2 star hotels). The staff was a pleasure to be around and the service was excellent. The breakfast was better than your average intercontinental breakfast, they had homemade pies everyday (different types every day) yumm! Along with other breakfast items, some local to the area. The parking was a bit “far” (4 min walk) but we were able to drop off and pick up our luggage by driving up to the front. We would stay there again :)

We really enjoyed the location and hospitality of Bella Vista. Our studio was clean and comfortable with large shuttered doors to a balcony with sea view. Watched the sun rise from bed, ate a delicious homemade breakfast, walked down to the beach to swim and strolled to the quaint village to shop and dine. We recommend Cafe Verde for coffee and Oi Oraies for dinner. The Bella Vista staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, including their student interns from all over Europe. Very pleased with the value of this stay.
