Hoteles cerca del Aspri Ammos Beach, Corfú

Nos reservaron en este hotel en 2020 y luego Covid golpeó, así que tuvimos que cancelar que estaban muy comprensivos y devolvimos todo nuestro dinero, así que sabíamos que teníamos que volver y estabamos tan contentos de lo que hicimos. El hotel está a 5 minutos a pie de la playa de Ipsos y tiene un montón de estacionamiento si tiene un coche. La habitación era limpia y tenía todo lo que necesitaba.Si puedes ver el mar para grandes vistas.La habitación también se limpió diariamente.El Wi-Fi era fuerte y trabajaba en todo el hotel. Ellos sirven comida alrededor de la piscina en el día, pero no creo que sirvan comida en la noche, pero no se preocupen, ya que hay muchos grandes restaurantes en el Ipsos ***** y más lejos, es decir, Dassia/Corfu Town. Si estás en el autobús número 7 sólo te vayas en la sala de la ciudad y caminas por la carretera en el bar En El Mar y encontrarás el signo del hotel en unos minutos.

We stayed here for a week as part of an EasyJet package and could not have been more thrilled with the hotel; spacious, incredibly clean, well appointed and staffed by some of the loveliest people. We had two superior garden view rooms and the views were indeed superior! Both had balconies and very effective air conditioning (included in the cost of the room) and the beds were very comfy. Small but perfectly formed bathrooms (with showers) which looked like they had been recently refurbished. Buffet breakfast was also included and was extensive; usual continental fare plus cooked dishes and even cake and baklava! (Top tip for those who like their British cuppa - take your own tea bags and a travel mug so you can make yourself a decent brew in the morning ;-) ) Beautiful grounds, well kept and a fantastic pool (open 9am -8pm) with plenty of loungers and chairs/ tables on the terrace with a choice of shady spots to cope with the very hot weather. The pool bar, serving drinks and a decent lunch menu was very good and fairly reasonably priced (for a tourist location). But what really made the stay was the staff - so friendly, welcoming and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and they went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The only slightly disappointing thing was that the restaurant no longer opens in the evenings and therefore the 'Greek night' advertised on the hotel website did not happen. It's also worth noting that Gouvia town and beach is down a *very* steep (although short) hill and across a frankly terrifying road - not so bad on the way down but a bit punishing on the way back up, especially in 37 degree heat! The town itself is quite run down and not the prettiest spot, although several very good eateries and beautiful warm sea to swim in - and seemed to be mostly catering to large groups of Scandinavian students - but this is not the fault of the hotel! Buses run to both Corfu Town and (in the other direction) to stunning Paleokastritsa very regularly, although they are often extremely busy (probably due to the cheap fares). All in all - excellent value for money, a beautiful and friendly hotel and a lovely stay!

La habitación era muy bien equipada y muy limpia. Los restaurantes fueron muy buenos, la calidad de la comida y la elección de vino impresionante. El desayuno era muy bueno, era bastante ocupado cuando fuimos, pero nunca tuvimos que esperar una mesa y el equipo de desayuno era muy útil, amable y eficiente en encontrarnos una mesa. El desayuno fue uno de los mejores que hemos tenido, una gran variedad de comida caliente y fría, no podía pensar en nada que no estaba disponible. El hotel está situado en una zona de 3 estrellas, donde se encuentran los alrededores de la playa. El hotel es un 10-15 a pie de una marina que tenía unos pocos bares y restaurantes y alrededor 10-15 en un taxi a la ciudad de Corfu que tiene una gran variedad de comedores, tiendas, bares, etc. Hay un taxi de agua en el jet en la playa que puede llevarte a varios restaurantes, todos ellos maravillosos. La única crítica menor que yo habría es que el equipo de concierge parecía un poco inconsciente, sin ninguna recomendación de restaurante ni siquiera conocer el servicio de taxis de agua que encontramos un poco raro. George en el escritorio delantero vino a la rescate con información y ayuda.

Nos hemos quedado en este establecimiento después de que nuestro vuelo fue cancelado y la compañía nos envió. Habla de la sal en la herida. Peor lugar que he tenido la mala suerte de estar en el hotel. La habitación era muy básica para decir lo menos. The word to sum up this lovely hotel with it's wonderful staff is.. Fantastic!! The hotel itself is dated, yes, however it has a kind of old world charm about it. Our impression from arriving to leaving was that we were stepping back in time to the 40s and 50s. Physically the building has echoes of a charming cruise liner, it is also perfectly positioned for everything the town and island has to offer. The staff were all extremely helpful, friendly and super attentive. The food was totally delicious and its presentation of a ”Masterchef” standard. Thankyou again to everyone at Corfu Palace for making our holiday so enjoyable. We will definitely be returning at some point in the future!

Το διαχρονικό αυτό ξενοδοχείο της Κέρκυρας (μη συγχέεται με το Corfu Palace) βρίσκεται έναντι αεροδρομίου με όμορφη θέα προς εκείνο και τη λιμνοθάλασσα από τη μια και προς τον κήπο από την πίσω μεριά. Είναι ιδανικό για παρέες/ οικογένειες ως τρία άτομα σε ένα δωμάτιο. Τα δωματια είναι σχετικά ευρύχωρα, κατακάθαρα, χωρίς όμως αναγκαία ηχομόνωση. Ο εξοπλισμός σε τηλεόραση, πρίζες είναι ξεπερασμένος. Το μπάνιο είναι καλό με ακαλαίσθητης πόρτες (χωρίς ηχομόνωση επίσης). Λείπει μαλακτικό μαλλιών αν και το νερό της Κέρκυρας θεωρείται σκληρό. Το πρωινό είναι καλό και ο υπεύθυνος στην είσοδο τυπικός Έλληνας του τουρισμού, φιλόξενος και φιλότιμος (παλαιός κοπής).Ωραίος εξωτερικός χώρος και κήπος σε συνέχεια με τον χώρο πρωινού. Ο κήπος γενικότερα θα μπορούσε να είναι και πιο φροντισμένος και η παιδική χαρά πιο γενναιόδωρη για παιδιά (αλλά είναι αμφίβολο αν αυτή είναι η σκοπιμότητα του ξενοδοχείου). Η πισίνα, καθαρή με όμορφο αν και στενάχωρο περιβάλλοντα χώρο.Διαθέτει ναυαγοσώστη! Το μπαρ θυμίζει λίγο πλοίο στη γραμμή Ελλάδα-Ιταλία και θα μπορούσε να είναι πιο ευχάριστο και πολυτελές. Κρύος καφές αδιάφορος. Δεν δοκιμάσαμε το εστιατόριο, αλλά πλησίον του ξενοδοχείου δεν υπάρχει εστιατόριο ούτε για δείγμα. Η εσωτερική σάλα είναι λιτή και καθαρή. Ο χωρίς στάθμευσης επίσης οριακά επαρκής για το μέγεθος επισκεψιμότητας του ξενοδοχείου. Η ρεσεψιόν μάλλον χλιαρή και απρόσωπη. Η σχέση τιμής/ποιότητας είναι υποφερτή. Αλλά σίγουρα το ξενοδοχείο θέλει σύντομα αναβάθμιση για να ανταποκρίνεται στην τιμή του.
