La casa de la ciudad es un hotel nuevo y limpio. La zona de estacionamiento es pequeña, por lo que si llegamos tarde, necesitamos estacionar el coche frente al hotel, cerca del Parque Balekambang. La habitación es limpia, ni siquiera es espaciosa. Sólo no sé por qué el agua caliente es ligeramente caliente. También he comprobado en la otra habitación es la misma. El hotel tiene una arquitectura mínima y única, sólo con 3 pisos, los primeros y segundos pisos son para habitaciones con una pendiente relativamente estrecha entre habitaciones, el tercer piso es para un café, por lo que no es de extrañar que este hotel no use el ascensor. La piscina no es espaciosa, por lo que el espacio es más para la piscina anak2. La cosa interesante es el lugar de desayuno en el café de piso 3 y la vista es relajada con ingredientes muy diversos. El hotel es grande y lleno de instalaciones. Es un hotel familiar. La comida es buena y hay muchas opciones desde tradicional a oeste. Hay también un parque infantil para jugar. La habitación es un poco vieja pero cómoda. El hotel está bien, el ambiente es bueno, el servicio es bueno.

Gater es demasiado grande, no demasiado pequeño para una habitación rica, una sala de lujo, una distancia bastante cerca de casa y fácil de encontrar, pero la piscina no es amplia, sí, es un buen precio.

Reception We were greeted amazingly by the front office staff and especially the supevisor, I think it was Mr. Heri, whom accomodated our needs perfectly despite our late check in and requests. But they are all very helpful and accomodating. Room Not much to say really, since our room were in the perfect location and has a balcony which was very relaxing. Not to mention that it was just one step away from the restaurant, please put into consideration that they have a bit spread out villas so it was quite a walk to reach the restaurant. And right next to us was the dummy temple which really enhance the nuances of Solo as one of the cores of Javanese culture. Although the AC wasn't really cooling, but it was hardly a deal breaker since Solo still has a cool weather especially during the rainy season. Restaurant Dinner We had a chance to try the 'Buka Puasa' dinner buffet, since we came during the Ramadan which means that most of Indonesian were fasting and they have a kind of festivities for breaking their fast each evening. However it was quite a mess on this side. The F&B clearly wasn't ready to clear up the challenges againts bunch of hungry people. So there were a lot of missing items from the buffet, such as cutleries and ice cream which my fiance expected very much, hey, we're fasting too! Haha. And the service staff couldn't quite keep up with the pace of the masses. Although I need to mention that some of the staff, the one that wear a glasses, tried to helped us so much and gave us the best possible table during the circumstances. But overall, there are rooms for improvement. Breakfast This is quite amazing actually, considering that there was only one service guy in charge for the whole time. The vibe was quite, maybe because we were there during the off season haha, but he could take care almost all of our requests amazingly. Eventhough we did request a lot of things, including towells for swimming which wasn't ready at the poolside.
