Hotel King's Town

The first room we were given during check-in was very dirty and dusty, with a noticeable layer of dust throughout the room. Thankfully, the hotel staff were kind enough to change us to a cleaner room. However, the hotel itself is quite old and could use some renovation and better maintenance. On the positive side, the location is very convenient, as it is close to the train station, and there is a 7-11 right next door. Overall, the location is great, but cleanliness and room maintenance could be improved.

Large room comfy bed. Bathtub is old. Breakfast is ok. Location is great.

Nice location, just cross a street to Kaohsiung Railway Station. There is a convenience store next to the hotel. The guest room comes with bathtub. The size of room is not bad. Not many eateries nearby, but there are quite a few on the other side of the station, also there are a few restaurants inside the station. The breakfast is just soso. No safe box in guest room. The furniture is old but I am ok with it while comparing the price with nearby hotels.

King's Town Hotel is all about location. It's only about a five-minute walk from Kaohsiung Main Station, making it an excellent base for getting around the city. There are plenty of dining options nearby, from local restaurants to fast-food chains, and having a 7-11 right next door is incredibly convenient. That said, the hotel is clearly showing its age. The TV in my room didn't work at all, and the air conditioning still uses an older control system. If you're looking for a hotel with modern facilities where you plan to spend a lot of time relaxing, this may not be the best choice. However, if you just need a convenient place to sleep while spending most of your day exploring the city, King's Town Hotel is a practical option. The staff were also consistently friendly and welcoming despite the language barrier, which made the stay more pleasant.

Great stay. The hotel is right across from Kaohsiung Station, making it very convenient. The staff were friendly and allowed me to check in early after a long international flight, which was greatly appreciated. Good breakfast buffet and excellent location. Would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast was average. Room looks clean but I was shocked to see baby cockroaches, I almost wanted to check out. However housekeeper aunty was very nice and polite. I guess hotel is just old and needs pest control. Location is super convenient, it is right opposite Kao Hsiung TRA, not to be confused with Zuoying HSR. t

The hotel location is good, right next to 7eleven for convenient store as well as next to Kaoshiung Main Station. Hotel facitlities are good, but follow old style, not modern one. However, it's good for us. Just a thing that there are just very little local restaurant nearby for lunch/dinner.

Excellent location. Lobby was beautiful. BUT bathroom was horrible. The bed ok comfortable.

it was a quick stay but the staff was very nice! good space in the space just a little bit old… they still use keys to open the room..
