While we were in the area, with a long wait for a bus, we visited the Magnet Hotel. The Reception staff were, without exception, helpful and charming, and stored our luggage for us while we ate dinner. The food in the restaurant was excellent quality and the waiters very professional and friendly. The hotel itself is very well maintained, and while we didn't stay overnight I would completely recommend the Magnet Hotel from what we saw and experienced.

La ubicación es excelente, la atmósfera ambiente, el personal es excelente. La habitación era limpia, elegante, acogedora con un excelente servicio donde tuvimos la cena. La comida era buena y el valor para el dinero y el servicio era atento y eficiente. La habitación estaba bien equipada y cómoda. Estaba muy contento con mi estancia. Espero estar de vuelta para una visita más larga en el futuro.

Restaurant service by mr. Gerald during daytime was excellent, he tried his best to serve orders as per convenience. His service is commendable. Security and bell guy were also very helpful and very polite. Hard to see such good service these days.

The location of the hotel is very good. It’s overlooking the sea. My sister and I had booked the suite for one night stay. The view was good but the corner room has a better view. We had called to get the best view room but they said at that time that we have got the best. There must be some miscommunication there or the room wasn’t available. Anyhow. We loved the room and the decor. It was huge and it’s decorated with care. The eating space is nice too. Food was good. And the seating area over looking the sea is amazing too. But I must say that the hospitality was not good. We had requested in advance to delay the checkout and let us checkout by 1:30 PM. But the message was not conveyed to the staff who was attending to us. We had to give reference to who we spoke to etc etc. I like hassle free travel experience and hence do all the talking before hand but to no use. When we reached the hotel, we realised that the Wi-Fi network in the room was bad. We had a meeting to attend to the next morning. So requested them to give us a space which would have good connection. The hotel staff was helpful and showed us an unused space near the reception. And said he would unlock it for our use. We check if it had a table, chair, and AC. Next morning, there was some confusion. The manager was there and he stared at the staff and talked rudely in their language with us standing infront of them. They opened the space anyways. But said that the ACs aren’t working. And there was no fan. I ran back to them saying please check again because it was steaming hot and attending an important meeting in a saree with sweat dripping from all over would be horrible. I went back with the remote and realised they knowingly didn’t switch the main switch on. Even after all this, they questioned me again on the checkout time. And asked when our meeting would get over. Even if the space was an unused space. I didn’t like this experience at all. It made all the good experience turn sour.

I had a wonderful stay at hotel rainbow suites. The service was exceptional, with friendly and attentive staff who made sure all my needs were met. The room was well-maintained and spotlessly clean, providing great comfort throughout my stay. I was particularly impressed by the value for money. The room was definitely worth the price. The room service was prompt and efficient, making my experience even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for quality service and comfortable accommodation”

This Hotel has a super friendly reception desk. The charming ladies are unusually helpful and very attentive. We appreciated that a lot. Another strong point in favor of the Hotel is the nice garden. You can enjoy a cool Kingfisher beer there, but unfortunately not everyday. On certain days they are not allowed to serve alcohol. There is a restaurant inside, but we found it more enjoyable to eat outdoors. Service is quick and the food we had was ok but nothing special. Our room was clean and big enough. Since the Hotel has been refurbished recently, everything was in excellent condition - we particularly liked the well kept woodwork. We will keep a fond memory of the Surya Heritage Hotel and it’s friendly personnel.

¡Cuidado con este hotel sombrío!! Mi oro y dinero se robó de la habitación 311 mientras estaba dormido en la habitación alrededor de la medianoche en 20/11/19. He alojado un FIR en la estación de policía de Kannur Town. ISSUES: Damp, olor & insafe. Las cámaras en la galería NO funcionan. Tarifas altas. AC no eficaz. Lino sucio y toalla. El teléfono en la habitación no funciona. Sufocante pequeños ascensores. Lo que hace que las cosas peor – El personal de hotel rudo y desagradable ni siquiera se siente triste ni visitó la estación de policía con nosotros por informar del caso (después de todo el robo ocurrido en su propiedad). En realidad, el personal arrogante, arrogante y no cortesía que trata de amenazarme. En realidad, intentó ofrecer un descuento del 50% en el estancia si retiré la revisión en línea (de Goibibo). I’d already paid advance Rs.5000 & lost gold + cash worth much more than that, why would I remove the review? Si hubiera visto el lugar antes, nunca habría cometido este error de reservar esto. ¡No he visto un hotel peor que este que ha viajado a menudo a diferentes lugares y ha estado en diferentes hoteles.

Kannur has always been close to my heart for multiple reasons... people, nature, proximity to everything and now good stay... Recently stayed at Royal Omars on station road for 5 days... the location, the quality of the room and the service was very good... it did not have to buzz of a rushed place... a pretty good breakfast... clean rooms... efficient service....

During our planned stay from 20th to 22nd October 2023 at Mascot, a booking error sent my family and me from Bangalore to Kannur on the wrong dates. Despite not having the chance to stay at Mascot, I feel compelled to share this exceptional experience. Upon realizing our rooms were booked for the 27th to 29th October instead, the Mascot staff showcased remarkable empathy and efficiency. They promptly arranged accommodations at another excellent hotel, continuously checking on our well-being. Their actions were beyond mere customer service; they restored our faith in humanity and the kindness of people. What impressed me most was the full refund of our booking amount, a gesture of goodwill that deeply touched us. This incident didn’t just resolve a logistical error; it transformed us into lifelong patrons of Mascot. Their exceptional handling of an unforeseen situation has earned the loyalty of not just my family, but also our friends.
